It was hard to find an SW maker, tut? Thanks, For going through the full installation. I've learned to review the install of apps before investing time and money into software. There are somethings I will not do to my workstation just to get a program. I'm not happy about the java install! My next rule is what is the third party support like. In this instance I want to see Maker specific tuts not just any SW content.
Thanks for this useful video! “Not very intuitive” is a huge understatement. Their dashboard, their installer, their “experience”, is ugly garbage and impossible to figure out without a separate video or tutorial. Abysmal work by whoever created this software for them. Some of the worst installer stuff I’ve ever seen anywhere. Maybe the worst.
@@Lehpurdzzz I hated the installer and even the app UI so much, I decided to abandon Solidworks (even after paying for it), and just focus on Fusion 360, which is easy to use even though it’s a slow and also not very great webapp but still better.
@@edrozenberg Yea I may give fusion 360 a try next time the solidworks maker backend is down again. I spent 3 hours yesterday troubleshooting maker not launching just to figure out on a buried forum that they’re doing backend maintenance to bring it up to the 2023 version. I’ll see if things are any more stable going forward
This video seems to be outdated now because mine looks different haha. Jesus christ, pay money for something and can't for the life of me figure out how to download the shit. Really off to a good first impression.
@@luisfernandolorenzohernand6233 same problem. The website is more like a scam for makers I have never had such bad time just trying to download the program. i even wanted to refund ore chancel my subscription but I cant even find that. did you find out what the problem is?

The audio was so low I couldn't hear any of it. I have used Solidworks for 25 years, so I was interested in what this is.
Why I cannot download Solidworks using 3D experience?
Try clearing your browser cache or try a different browser. Also make sure to disable any ad or script blockers you may have installed.
