    Those costs seem reasonable for the potential value what is being offered with this software. Using your own hardware is one nice feature. $10 to try for a month is worth not having to deal with crashing and underpowered free programs and the other frustrations and headaches that come with them. I think I'll give it a try.

    Thank you for finding and posting this. I personally think SolidWorks was the most elegant piece of software I have ever witnessed and used. Unfortunately I did not have time to learn the software, just tinkered with it but NOW? Wow what a deal!
    For all the salty guys that want to complain about the cost or try to trash you in favor of some other software package? Dudes seriously? The OP is just trying to show everyone a hell of a deal. If you think you can get a better deal or some other software is better? Go spend your own time and make your own video about that and get some haters of your own why don't ya?
    Thank you again and I will be subscribing since I just bought my own Sidewinder x2 so I will be paying attention to your upgrades. Appreciate ya brother!

      Thank you for your comment, I agree its a very elegant piece of software. Haters gonna hate, like you said, I'm just showing another option for those that are looking. I think alot of people will hate on stuff like this because it doesn't give them the conformation bias they want for what ever software they use. Thanks for the SUB and cheers to all the haters....

    The Problem Solved! This was a Highly Unlikely Situation! Old computer dying, New computer loaded with SW 2011 and then SW 2018 (Can't be made to work). Later loaded 3DExperience and Tested. Uninstalled SW 2011/2018. Considering my Bad Experience with 3DExperience, was going to uninstall this also. But as stated below, your Video came to the Rescue this morning. After Testing 3DExperience and Discovering the below Dimensioning Problem, I set about Working the Problem. As it turned out, I suspected that when uninstalling SolidWorks some Important Files may have been Removed. So I Reinstalled SW 2011 then Opened 3DExperience again. Problem Solved! Doubtful that another of your Viewers will come across this problem, but there it is incase it can help in the future. Again Thank You so much for being there. Love you Man!

    Just Downloaded SolidWorks 3DExperience. After three days of Studying the Software & Manual / Help files, I must agree with many users; This Program is a Convoluted Mess! If not for seeing your Video this morning, I was going to Remove SolidWorks 3DExperience from my computer. You showed me that not only is their 3D Design / 3D Creator, by also SolidWorks Professional Included (but hidden under layers). Seems Great so far (I'm a retired Mechanical Design Engineer). However, I've just discovered that my copy of SW Professional, can't Place Dimensions in either Part Files or Drawing Files. Maybe I'll be able to solve this problem. Ethereal Project 3D: Any suggestions? Thank you.

      @EtherealProject3D  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the way they have 3D Experience set up is a bit pain in the ass. I hope they figure it out a d make it more user friendly in the near future. As fas as the dimensions go, are you working in a drawing or in the part file? Are you trying to dimension a sketch?

    As of Jan 2023 the new "unified eco-system" merge with 3D experience makes the whole process extremely painful. I've never seen such an absurd level of convoluted fuckery. Even after subbing you are completely left in the dark and forced to navigate 4 websites just to MAYBE finally get to get a sense of how to get the product and even then good luck with that. I've never had such an obnoxious barrier to entry with ANY software ever.

    This is an exciting development. Ive been wanting to separate my personal design stuff from work hardware and software. I have a huge body of work that I'd have to translate into another CAD system. But it looks like this will let me keep using my files with no changes to my workflow. For $100/year, that's a no brainer.

    Can I use 3DExperience for Makers to prototype an idea and file a patent application, prior to then purchasing the Solidworks tools that I would need for commercialization? In other words, once I file the patents and I decide that I do want to go ahead and commercialize a version 2 of the idea. Could I then purchase a commercial license for Solidworks and import my files from the 3DExperience for Makers tool?

    "This is SolidWorks Professional"?! What a laughable statement. I have 20 years working with SolidWorks on the job. This is lacking big time. No ability to cut with surfaces. No ability to have multiple files open simultaneously. Runs in the cloud, which is as slow and laggy as watching paint dry. Oh, did I mention that I paid my annual subscription to the 3DExperience site, waited three more weeks before getting access, and that only after I emailed and called numerous individuals with their company and threatened to turn them into my state attorney general for fraud?

    • @EtherealProject3D
      @EtherealProject3D  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry you do not aggrege with my statement. But In my experience with this version I have been able to have as many files open as I want, I don't have to work in the cloud and I got access immediately after subscribing to the software. As far as cutting with surfaces, I have not spent much time with surfaces so I can not speak to that. I feel you are giving the program bad remarks do to your unique experience and I can understand that. I have been using Solidworks for 13 years and for my workflow it easily matches up with Solidworks Professional.

Then also to have to pay 10$ / month or 100$ / year is way too expensive (as all programms at 3DS of the brand SolidWorks especially) compared with what Fusion360 can offer and that for 0$.
