This is my true ending (after many resets or unfortunate events or such or such), the first ending felt like a normal ending as there aren't any survivors but class zero and becoming L'Cie is actually a "Death End" because you get unlimited power from the L'Cie's vermilion bird crystal at the cost of your life. You then keep fighting all the enemies that get progressively harder, then you easily get decimated, then a cutscene of the bad ending then finally a game over. Stings doesn't it?
perhaps it is the real ending. if arecia erases the crystals for tiz and joker, this will happen. since the previous members of class 0 long ago decided to become lcie. so there is an exception if they remain mortal, thus ending this spiral.
@@John-if3ph no that is not true,Arecia did erase the crystals because of Tiz and Joker,but that does not change what happened, class 0 died,at least people was able to remember them
Truth be told, if there was a slice of life anime with THESE characters, I would watch it. I'm not usually a fan of that genre because I usually find it too boring, but if it were these characters, I would be genuinely interested in the daily shenanigans they get themselves into!

Lol i might be the only one that prefers the real ending. Everyone dying but understanding the truth of it all. This ending although happy, everyone is blissfully unaware of the reality. So clueless and they get to live life in peace. I would rather be sad but understanding the truth then be happy in a lie.
This ending is far more superior to the...extremely...... EXTREMELY drawn out death scenes of Class Zero in the alternate ending. Rivaling that of Machina's brother on cringe
@@XXXKaruXXX lol, to me, I found the ending of the story to be edgy....just for the sake of edginess XD almost laughably silly with how edgy it was. Much like the intro with the brother's 15 minute death scene haha
This takes after the events of the ice reaper side story arc. Of course, he still has the unique cold chill persona overall. When Sice tried to send a love letter to him, (even though it was accidentally aimed at Seven) he just walks way thinking, "I don't have time for that..." Because of a special friend he lost in the past that was classified as his first love... It has been 5 years since I obtained the game and now I have platinumed the game and just trying to do all the fun parts such as try Finis mode, get S ranks or try to, and maybe try the annoying tower of Agito. It doesn't make any sense where outside the tower, the difficulty is set to your preferred one (can set to cadet) but when you're in the tower, it's officer difficulty, it just felt like a glitch or an error in game... Lol
This just makes the canon ending more depressing.
Maybe this is happening in the new world of lightning returns, where humanity lives without gods
