Wow that looks great. Definitely going to get it as soon as they ship in, assuming they aren't already sold out. The compensated light combo with that grey finish and the optic really does make it a next gen handgun. Beretta is the world's oldest firearms manufacturer, and they continue to exist because of their quality and innovation. Will it take a D hammer spring like the last generation?
100% I’m not gun Jew since they do last forever. But charging that much for a polymer gun when everyone else is doing it for way cheaper is ridiculous.
@@ghostdog2041 They don't have any laurels to rest on. Beretta hasn't been a competitor in the United States pistol market since...perhaps the early 1990's? They compete in one market only: shotguns. Their rifles aren't competitive, their handguns aren't competitive. They don't have a particularly good reputation for handguns in the U.S. with a lot of disgruntled ex-soldiers having put up with service guns (I know our agency didn't enjoy our Beretta products). I think Beretta realizes they sell their handguns to a very small market of Beretta fanboys. That's it. Those guys will buy every version of a 92 they can produce, and will occasionally buy something like a PX-4 because "different". No one's buying a PX-4 because it's a genuinely competitive product with other handguns on the market.

Seeing the line supported with new product makes me feel a lot more confident about doing so. I know Beretta really believes in this design, and hope they keep up with those grey finishes. And those MSRPs aren't too bad...for Beretta.
Is the trigger distance to the grip shorter on the new one? Because my hands are medium and my index finger is not long enough to be comfortable getting a good grip...
I have one in 40S&W and it is the best 40 I have in terms of shootability. It makes shooting 40S&W like shooting 9mm. I just wish they would do a better stipple job on it so you don't have to keep adding grip tape cause the grip is too slippery without it. Beretta are you listening, improve the grip on the PX4 and it will be near perfections. Oh and then come out with one in 10mm.
Appears that way. Unfortunately. I will say, though, there is not much muzzle flip due to the rotating barrel and barrel weight, so you don’t need the aggressive grip texture that some guns need in order to be fired (on target) quickly. Just get a high grip and torque your off-hand arm to apply a good amount of pressure and go to work.
I have a full size and it is a fantastic gun. I use a high grip, but that is where the issues comes from; there is nothing there for the entire palm of my support hand. I have talon grips and they do work well. But, if Beretta and Langdon and including them, it seems to me that they are almost acknowledging the problem, just thought tey would have a better fix then 'here are talon grips'. @@wheelguns4wheelmen802
1:07 If Beretta fixes the slick grip by redesigning it, adding texture to the sides (current grip has none on the sides) like what Glock did moving from one generation to the next, then I'll give to you: it's a new PX4. As is, you still have to apply grip tape, it's not new. It's the same gun they've been making since 20 years ago :)
Ammo, James. We want to hear from ammo manufacturers how they're working to increase capacity (if they come to Shot?). New tech is great, but there's gotta be some honest, direct ammo coverage from someone. Keep up the good work! 🤙
Trust me...the ammo industry has no vested interest in increasing supply/reducing profit. They're all capable of expanding, and are just enjoying the "new normal" of $0.45 a round of 5.56, and $0.25 a round for 9mm.
@@oskar6661 That's fine short term, but it's an unsustainable business model (assuming no cartel or gov't subsidy) . Producers who provide the same goods at a lower price will still gain advantage over other producers. S&D

This pistol has a major design flaw that was cleverly retrofitted by Langdon Tactical through his creative genius. Originally I had thought that the custom trigger job, a 1000 dollar cost, was required in order to perform the optic cut, but it is only 294 dollars for the optic cut.
LT needs to seriously improve their web site. It’s ambiguous when you see the $1000 price tag for an enhanced trigger job without telling you that a pistol is or is not included in that price.
While I believe these are far superior and I’d take one of these over ANY Glock (Austrian for Hi Point), I’d still take my P07, P10S or Shadow 2 anyway!
I just got my PX4 Storm Compact Carry-2. I really like the recessed hammer, and really like the orange-red glow front sight. It's very easy to line up on target. Try it, you'll like it. - I have to say its trigger is the absolute best there is compared to all the other DA pistols I have - velvety smooth and precise DA action each and every time. Another thing: it's really good the frame is polymer. If it was metal, the pistol would be too heavy. As it is; it weighs 27.4 oz empty, which is notably heavier than any other compact pistol I have. -- I haven't fired it yet because I'm in the process of learning all about it. - One thing I think will really surprise new users of this weapon is the decocker. When I first racked it and used the decocker, I expected a soft seating of the hammer like on my other DA pistols. My CZ decocker is the best - it softly seats the hammer to half-cock. - Well, this decocker releases the hammer with seemingly full trigger force. I thought:- Oh boy -- that's not good! - It felt like decocking the hammer would certainly fire the pistol. The hammer force in decocking felt exactly the same as dry-firing it. - So, got my trusty 9mm dummy laser round - put it in there - decocked it - the hammer came down hard, but no laser fire. Dry-fired it and the laser lit up on the wall. Did both several times with the same result - decocking doesn't activate the laser round while firing the pistol does. Since Beretta does not cover this very strange phenomenon in their manual or in any review I've seen so far, can someone please explain how the hammer coming down with seemingly full firing force while decocking does not fire the pistol? Thanks.

Nice, hopefully these will be available in more places because I looked high & low for any of the storms last year & I couldn't find none of them nowhere in my area, Also it be really cool to see a micro version that is even smaller than the p365, it would be really nice to see a version that is in .45, & 10mm, & it would be really cool to see a version that is a system that could be changed or have add ons, like say you make 2 versions or so, 1 version can be .22 & 9mm, or 9mm & .45 cal, or .45 & 10mm, maybe a .38 & 9mm, Something like those 2 versions in 1 tool that can be changed, maybe the frame can be changed, the barrel, etc. Depending on what the user wants that day, so maybe they want a smaller frame .45, the next day maybe they want a bigger Frame 9mm, That would be really cool, and give a ton more value, 1 tool being able to transform into basically 2 or maybe more versions without having to buy a completely different full priced tool, because money is tight for most it would offer a ton of value no doubt. Also been thinking what if they made revolvers that had a quick replace cylinder instead of having to replace the 6 rounds 1 by 1 or with a speed loader, instead you just click a button like on a semi and the whole cylinder falls out like a mag, and you just pop the next cylinder in already full and it would click in an do it's thing like any other revolver, I feel that would be a super cool way to make them a lot more versatile & make them more viable in a age where semis kind of rule the day in terms of speed. Idk just a few ideas I think lots of people would like.

Because it isn’t beretta making the changes. Its LTT
They said they include wrap around grip tape in the box
@@Swishersweetcigarilo 2500 MSRP, and I get grip tape? You lost me.
Because they would have to change the molds from 2005. And that will not happen at beretta.
Italians have the soft manicured hands of a tailor soaked in olive oil because callouses might ruin the finish of a Lamborgotti Fasterossa
So is the carry 2 only decocker? I would really prefer to have one in safety/decocker.
Definitely getting that flat trigger for my LTT PX4 when it comes out
The plain PX4 -2 compact with 3 mags should be no higher than $575 street cost. So many other great options for that price point and less in 2024.
100% I’m not gun Jew since they do last forever. But charging that much for a polymer gun when everyone else is doing it for way cheaper is ridiculous.
For sure. I got a P365 with a flat trigger and night sights for $400. Beretta is resting on their proverbial laurels.
Bought a slide from Langdon and the front site yeeted itself into the night and when they put a new one on it wasnt centered

Are some of these parts available for upgrading the original PX4 full size?
I hope ben can hit the gym this year and get healthy. Hes seems like a good dude and I want to see him around in the future.
How can it have been 20 years! I really didn't think about that fact. I had my P4 Storm longer than I thought, lol.
I just broke in my PX4 last night at the range, I suck as a pistol shooter but the gun is just so great, wish I could get the gen 2 but in CA that wont happen any time soon....
We are getting it soon
@SSoHPKCSON gen2? I know CA is getting something px4 related. Tell me its the compact carry too....
@@sprocket8934 yes to gen 2, I believe we are getting both models
@@sprocket8934 we dont have the compact version available, only full size. For this new version, it will be a long while if ever due to roster laws here
I'm hoping we can buy the heavy barrel slide and use it on my existing PX4 lower
Did they eliminate the right side slide release for left handed shooters on the Compact Model?
The Cool Factor is Off the Charts!
I currently have the px4 Storm Compact is it worth upgrading? Or could I just buy attachments separately?
Ordered one of the compact carry packages in this video, 6 weeks can't go by fast enough!
Where did you get it
Same here, if people snooze on this they will be sold out before you know it. Langdon tacticals website
Forget it , stupid question .
Is the compensator and light available separately??
Beretta makes the best hammer fired gun in the market.

Until you grab a CZ
I want one of the Langdon PX4s so much, but haven't been able to bring myself to pull the trigger, as it were. Seeing the line supported with new product makes me feel a lot more confident about doing so. I know Beretta really believes in this design, and hope they keep up with those grey finishes. And those MSRPs aren't too bad...for Beretta.
3:40 that VPA comp looks incredible!!!!
Is the trigger distance to the grip shorter on the new one? Because my hands are medium and my index finger is not long enough to be comfortable getting a good grip...
Now they got me back interested. I miss my old px4 full size but ditched it due to .40 cal. And never bought a 9mm due to no rdo option.
Glad to hear this news. I love my current P×4 Compact Carry.
Don’t see the new compact listed on LTTs website. The full size is available for preorder. Any update on this ?
Grip tape still??
It is silly. They couldn't do a Walther pdp type thing themselves. I want this, but I dunno, feels sort of Frankenstein'd.
How you got this video out so fast? Look forward to more from Shot Show, and welcome to Las Vegas
this is the PX4 that I dreamed of!!!!!!!!!!!
Is there a threaded barrel for them to mount a suppressor?
Do they have one with a threaded barrel?
The barrel rotates to chamber a round so threaded attachments would come loose sadly.
I wish they could take muzzle devices.
It's a rotating barrel, so everything unthreads itself pretty quick. They even had to rail mount a suppressor for military trials.
How is the trigger?
Nice additions to the PX4 line. I have an old model D that still looks like I bought it yesterday.
what additions they're not doing shit at the factory
Will you be introducing the Compact 2 F version?
Homie, that chinese spy balloon is selling berettas now!
I have the discontinued Subcompact. At first I was hesitant it not have the rotating barrel but.... It's a little bulldog with a great shot and hardly any recoil. Absolutely love it. Grown on me.
“We won’t fix the grip, we’ll just put tape on it” sooooo much innovation…sike
Thanks, JJ, Ernest, & Ben 👍
I hate that I’m so close but can’t get into the range day….yet. But I’ll be looking for the tfbtv crew on the floor of shotshow!
6:04 Langdon seriously quoting 2500 for that gun, and misses every single shot on the plate rack. What a JOKE.
"It's AMAZING! Best thing since sliced bread...Here's all the surgery needed to make it decent." MSRP $800, Post surgery $3000
While I believe these are far superior and I’d take one of these over ANY Glock (Austrian for Hi Point), I’d still take my P07, P10S or Shadow 2 anyway!

They already shipped the comp for myself, pretty good launch if you ask me.
I just bought my Barretta PXA, yesterday i need to know and understand it better especially those little switches
I was excited for this at a level: 9. Then I heard "MSRP of $879.00
My excitement is now a solid 3. I can't with these guys.
Thanks.
Decock ONLY...HELL YEAH !!!
NOT just because I am a massive fan of the V !!!
Are you going to offer any of the Vantage Point Armory Comps for the Compact as standalone units in case we already have a TLR-7 or want the new TLR-7X?
I like how Beretta doesn't just abandon its guns if they don't outsell the competition, they tinker and make them better and better.
Do they make a cc holster for that exact set up on the thumbnail
This is the one gun, i had to show everyone. When they see it, they are like , "Eh"... When they shoot it. They are like "Whooooa"... i wish i could afford the whole package. I found my PX4, lightly used, almost new, for $330, With 9 mags. 4-15s and 5-10s.
Damn that's a hell of a deal!
@@brickhammerSS Perks of working at Range USA.

The PX4 is one of those guns that flies under the radar of most gun geeks. It is an exceedingly well-built pistol that is VERY durable. Ernest does a wonderful job of excising the full-capability of the PX4. Thanks for the video, James!
It's nice to see Beretta collaborated with Hi-Point on the design of this one. Finally a reliable Yeet Cannon
I thought the same thing! That thing is def looking like a hi-point
Wish I'd thought of that crack!!
was just checking my PX4 40 it has the same length as a 92 compact nice to know for those of us that like a full size gun we do not have to choose full size or compact when deciding which to carry its a win win with what ever we choose enjoy
Get OPTIC-READY versions in ALL CALIBERS back on tha CA Roster!!!
Get rid of the roster 🤡
@chrism4008 Surely, u don't believe we have free n fair elections in tha PRK?
had the original compact and it was a amazing gun. i even sold it to a retailer when i was low on cash and it sold next day. the grip texture was the only issue especially when you shot it alot and got sweaty hands. red dot sights i can care less for because i have a astigmatism so my eyes cant see the dots right... be cool if they came with a halosun since those seem to help.
Nice, hopefully these will be available in more places because I looked high & low for any of the storms last year & I couldn't find none of them nowhere in my area,
Also it be really cool to see a micro version that is even smaller than the p365, it would be really nice to see a version that is in .45, & 10mm,
& it would be really cool to see a version that is a system that could be changed or have add ons, like say you make 2 versions or so, 1 version can be .22 & 9mm, or 9mm & .45 cal, or .45 & 10mm, maybe a .38 & 9mm,
Something like those 2 versions in 1 tool that can be changed, maybe the frame can be changed, the barrel, etc. Depending on what the user wants that day, so maybe they want a smaller frame .45, the next day maybe they want a bigger Frame 9mm,
That would be really cool, and give a ton more value, 1 tool being able to transform into basically 2 or maybe more versions without having to buy a completely different full priced tool, because money is tight for most it would offer a ton of value no doubt.
Also been thinking what if they made revolvers that had a quick replace cylinder instead of having to replace the 6 rounds 1 by 1 or with a speed loader, instead you just click a button like on a semi and the whole cylinder falls out like a mag, and you just pop the next cylinder in already full and it would click in an do it's thing like any other revolver,
I feel that would be a super cool way to make them a lot more versatile & make them more viable in a age where semis kind of rule the day in terms of speed.
Idk just a few ideas I think lots of people would like.

No factory optic cut is crazy
Will the GSD be produced in .45 4.5" barrel length? Perfered in a 5" barrel length? Built strong enough to handle 450 SMC ammunition. With dubble stack 10 and 15 round magazines.
This needs a optic cutout from the factory. Not to pay another $400-&1000 to Langdon.
So they said the barrel is on the full size model but then on the Beretta site it actually lists the compact as having a heavy barrel too.
