Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Marx und Prof. Dr. Harald Sourij diskutieren die 2023 Leitlinie der European Society of Cardiology (ESC) für die Behandlung kardiovaskulärer Erkrankungen bei Diabetes Mellitus, die beim Jahreskongress der ESC im Spätsommer 2023 präsentiert und im European Journal of Cardiology veröffentlicht wurde.
Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Marx ist Direktor der Klinik für Kardiologie, Angiologie und internistische Intensivmedizin der Uniklinik RWTH Aachen und Erstautor der ESC Leitlinie.
Prof. Dr. Harald Sourij ist Endokrinologe und Diabetologe an der Medizinischen Universität Graz, Forschungseinheitsleiter der Trials Unit für interdisziplinäre metabolische Medizin und President Elect der Österreichischen Diabetesgesellschaft.
