My ZP450 is printing the configuration on the bottom half of the 4x6 label. I tried resetting to factory default and calibrated as well however still not able to get it to work. Any idea what I am missing.
My Zebra zp450 started printing on half of the 4x6. The label appears smushed. I have not changed any of the settings. I have uninstalled and installed the driver again and that did not work either. Please help, we've never had a problem and it has worked great for us. Thank you

Your video was so helpful, however my printer and stickers both came from UPS. I'm struggling to get them to feed into the back (cords in the way) and the braces inside are making a horrible mark when I am able to get something partially through. The roll UPS sent me was massive and doesn't fit into the printer. I'm a new reseller and my first shipments go out tomorrow. What a mess.
Zebra 450: Remember: Portrait, 4x6 in, 203 dpi and Default for most shipping label print jobs. (Particularly if you're switching between a 450 for labels and a standard printer for normal/letter sized print jobs).
I generated a paypal label and saved it as a pdf. when i try to print it, it's saved as a full page with the label being half the size of the full page. I couldn't get it print as a 4 by 6. It only prints out the full page. When it's printed out, it prints the label half the size of the 4x6 label because the label is saved a full pdf page. I cropped the image of the label using snipping tool and saved it so label can be printed as a full page. It however comes out pixelated.
Here's my current problem on Windows 10. it keep asking what port i'm using... I have no idea! I had the printer working before. Moved locations, and when I plugged things back in, nothing. Now I'm starting over with your vid. I uninstalled the drivers to start with, and followed along. immediately after selecting Zebra ZP450 CTE, it brings me to a Specify Port prompt. It happened to me as well. I didn't see when he was showing the installation process the part after you connect the USB and then it detects your thermal printer. For me I had too manually look for it. Then in the next option I clicked the usb001. After doing that I was able to print the example label.
Will this printer actually print 4x2 labels? I'm converting a client over to re-labeling all incoming product and their 4x6 labels are overkill for this purpose.

I’ve been wanting to get a label printer for my small business for the longest time and finally pulled the trigger. I’m glad I did ! This machine is great th-cam.com/users/postUgkxw55tQTywUAAOsbrlwxONZULry77sFF1Q and the blue/green color matches the rest of the accents in my office. My favorite part is how small the footprint is. It’s less than 1/4 the size of my regular printer.Set up was fairly easy. Seller will email you a link with video instructions Which I found to be more helpful than the written instructions. I use a Mac and had no issues. They even included an adaptor for USB to USB-c which is great because I’m always losing mine! I had a few issues getting the labels to print properly and wasted quite a few sheets. You need to play around with the settings to get everything adjusted just right. If you have the wrong settings, it’ll crop off the edges or feed through blank labels. These aren’t issues with the machine though, just user error.
Will the ZP 450 Print just a couple of numbers i.e. 21 or 33 etc. we want to use ot make labels for our target yardages. I found some outdoor labels that are just right and I just need to print 3" tall number sets

UPS sent me a Bixolon printer. Do you know anything about them? The Bixolon does the same thing. I tried to see if I could follow the same steps you used for the Zebra, but the Bixolin doesn't have the Media Feed Action option.
My UPS label from UPS campus shipping is printing in landscape although its set to portrait in print menu from browser and also in the printing preferences under control panel

Today my Zebra GK420d is now skipping labels when I print multiple labels from Pirate Ship. I have done the calliibration but it is still only printing when I open the case each time, which will take hours of time to print 200 labels a day. Can you help me??
I'm so frustrated! The printer was working perfectly on a laptop, but that computer died. I tried to set it up on a different computer following your instructions and now whenever I try to print, it opens the save window and tries to save a .prn file. I've been googling everywhere and can't figure it out. Can you save me CP?
I'm an idiot! I just realized it was not set up on USB port! I swear I checked it multiple times every which way from Sunday. I got it working though. Sometimes you just have to call IT (I consider you my IT guy) and the problem magically fixes itself.

Eric: I have a ZP 450 from UPS. We can print other platform labels with it for shipping purposes, but I have failed repeatedly in setting it up thru the licensed BarTender software that we have. My computer "sees" the printer in "Printers & Scanners", but it will not communicate with it. My printer vendor has told me that this printer from UPS has a proprietary firmware that won't allow it to print labels outside of the UPS platform, however, as I mentioned previously, we have another printer (just like it - connected to another desktop) that prints labels in other shipping software with no problems. I am confused! Any help will be greatly appreciated. My vendor is trying to sell me another printer! HELP!
Thank you for putting this video together. I've successfully downloaded the drivers, but I can't get past the USB Step. It can't find my printer. The green LED indicator on the back is on, but my feed button doesn't come on no matter what I do. I have the closed and the printer plugged in.

Got Zebra to print FBA labels correctly. That was a horrible experience, but it works.
FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK. All I did was change the port. What an ordeal. Two plus hours of frustration.

Yeah, you dont want to save barcode labels in image format. Use a PDF reader and take a snapshot in it, or change the paypal settings to 4x6 :)

You will need a windows pc to configure that in the printer.

Oh no! I would clean the sensors, reset the printer to defaults then recalibrate.

my printer was installed successfully but its not showing up in my available printers.
Try restarting your computer and rebooting the printer as well.
