2x7 Thermal label printing is great for DOMESTIC USPS shipping only. It is not compatible with FEDEX OR UPS, OR INTERNATIONAL/APO addresses with USPS.
Label world can get confusing, here you go, to lessen the confusion.

My printer isnt printing well the writing is very faint. i havnt used one before and was looking to print my barcodes. how do i type what i want on the the label names and addresses etc?
I have been using my 2824 through Pirate Ship for a couple of weeks now and love it. Got lucky and scored an ethernet version.... These are about half price of the 2844 currently. Great video.

Hi someone just gifted me one of these to replace my 2844. But, it won't print for some reason. it works feed calibrated and all, but somehow it won't print. how did you get yours to print? Did I doe something wrong with the driver perhaps. I downloaded it 3 times by mistake?? When I check What's printing it isn't even under there.Shouldn't the USB light up? TIA

I've been using a laser printer for Ebay and Etsy shipping labels. Is it cheap to print lebels with this device? Is the roll or staked sheets economical, relative to 5.5" x 8.5" two labels per 8.5" x 11" sheet?
Having an issue where a 2824 is printing only 2 labels and then the red light flashes. Any advice?

Does anyone know why my LP2824 seems to skip calibration and go right to printing a diagnostic? I hold the feed button and turn it on, then I let go as soon as it starts blinking red. It blinks green a few times then goes right to printing the diagnostic. I've wasted over a hundred labels on this stupid thing.

Hello, I was wondering if you could make a video on how to order the free thermal shipping roll from usps, I went to supplies but I didn't see it.
You need a UPS business account, they should show up under "stickers" I think. Named something like 4x6 roll or fan fold. You can order by calling them too.

Any sugestions on how best to print an extremely large list of uniquie names using 1x2 labels for this printer. I've been having a hard time finding anything.
You would need a document template with the right dimensions and then the correct settings on the printer. I dont have a tutorial on that exact application but I could see it working with some adjustments.
@@Elsiemerolling I just bought some 2x7 lables and have had pretty good results on printing out a unique list that I copy and pasted into a google spread sheet. After spacing out the cells and screwing around with some margins I've gotten it to work pretty well with what I need it for. The only problem is I have to cut out each cell with a paper cutter. The problem I was having with the 1x2 lables is the google print settings screen doen't recognize that small of a piece of paper. hope this helps
i have a dymo 450, my labels are printing out super small - i don’t know how to get my shipping labels in that format !!
What's up man, you'll have to change settings in whatever place is making your labels. eBay, PayPal, pirate ship etc

Hi! You can send commands to your printer from your software, i've got the command from Zebra and it should all be pasted in the following order, all in the same "text" or what you will call it. Not 1 and send, 1 and send and so on.
This is the command:
^XA
^MFn,N
^JUS
^XZ
, if you have a windows computer and the software, you can go to "configure printer settings", when you are on the "advanced settings", select "media feed options" and set that to "no feed", that worked for me.

We use this printer for our oil change stickers and want to program our new address into the system. Can you explain how to change the information that prints on the label? We have been told the printer needs to be sent back to the supplier for programming... is this true?
It would depend on how the system is setup, if anything address field is editable on your software. It very well could be true.

Yes, it's the same process minus the settings unless you are using the 2x7 labels

The ZP450 or the LP2844?
@@RICK2238 the zp450 is a newer more updated printer, which is why it is usually more expensive in most listings you will find.
