The fact that the father and stepmother met in the hospital on the same day of their spouses dying is very suspicious to me and she happened to be working at the same company as the dead wife
@@user-ni6hh2qt4sno it’s a fire can u control a fire? R u a firebender? No right so it was an accident at the work place. The op only mentioned her mom and her stepsister dad bc they r part of the story. There could been more deaths but didn’t mentioned bc it’s not important in the story.
The fact the ex thought he could just waltz back in and get together after literally leaving her at the altar for her step sister is another level of delusional. What an idiot.
All of these people sound exhausting. So the dad and stepmom met in the hospital at the exact time that both of their spouses died, had two daughters the same age and literally tricked them into believing that they were twins until they were close to teenagers? Crappy parenting imo. Then just because they aren't actually blood related or twins, the step sister just decides to become a jerk?
OP must be so glad she found out about this scumbag before the ceremony was over. Sounds like Joanna was just going to take this idiot away from her sister, and ruin her wedding in the process. Just because she could.
So you could bond fine when you thought you were twins but then you found out youre just regular siblings and your relationship is now ruined? Wow. Of all the things that could drive 2 people apart....
Then you enabled her by helping her get a job, simultaneously making yourself look like trash by suggesting her to the company in the first place knowing she's no good.
Blame shouldn't be placed on OP or Joanna for their relationship falling apart, but it's the parents fault. Lies can psychologically damage people especially children. I can't imagine one day being told everything about my family-dynamics was a lie. I can see why Joanna grew resentful of OP, and I do think it's vice versa because OP calls Joanna's mom step-mom now. They shouldn't have lied, and they should've sent OP and Joanna to individual therapy, and also did a family therapy session together. Then lastly OP had remorse about taking away Joanna's lively hood, which is why she tried to get her a job. She didn't do it for the right reasons, it was just to make herself not feel so bad about it. Sorry also I just wanted to add this because while typing this I realized how fucking sick their parents are. Especially for #5 Found out they weren't twins but also found out that they were not even siblings Each kid found out that their dad(joanna) and mom(op) isn't their parent Joanna's last name was changed (now this is just a hunch because if they had different last names they would've more than likely asked why that was when they were younger.) Neither girl had a say if they wanted to be adopted by their step-parent (once again a hunch) Each parent wiped their child's bio-parent out of existence
None of it was OP's fault until the end. She was dumb enough to actually help her sister who had already shown how untrustworthy she was. It's like, "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice and I'm a fucking idiot" Then to go hang out with your cheater ex-fiance, I'm sorry but there was no way that was gonna work out. I love how he shifted the blame onto the sister too.
Honestly I would never have given that step sister another chance. Besides if the main person never agreed to her planning, this never woulda happened.
Yeah, if he'll leave her for you, he'll eventually leave you. And since looks were the main draw for him, I'd say he'll leave if she gets pregnant or whenever the stress of their relationship gets to her. Either way, yikes
@@virtualatheist well i do now and in fact i have been practicing that so i hope to see that i have gotten better also good to see another one that dont believe in the man upstairs
Im not going to scream that it's fake but i am going to call out terrible writing. They made their op out to be the only good one. I know a lot do it but this was done poorly just to highlight how good their op is. For one too many details regarding the parents meeting. More believable would be, "my mother died when i was young, my father met my stepmom at the grief support group." People grief bonding isn't unheard-of but don't add more details that isn't terribly significant, you get to the same point without bogging the reader down with this information. An officiant isn't going to start a ceremony with objections just because someone is bitch sobbing. When a person objects and states their case the officiant takes them aside to get all of the information so he would've been talking to the sister and fiance, sister wouldn't have had the time to compose herself to deliver her villain speech. And fiance wouldn't said more than "but she's so pretty." As a reason he picked the sister. Better thing to do would be something like. "in mid ceremony my fiance said he couldn't do it and confessed." Or "my sister started screaming that he can't marry me and confessed to their affair. While my parents were try to calm my sister from her hysteria I went to grab my things and leave. My now ex followed me to explain their emotional and physical affair." Or "the wedding hadn't started yet because my groom wasn't there. I was called into the officiant's office where i found my fiancee and sobbing sister. There i learned the horrible truth of their relationship." Companies have to fire their employees for theft and drug usage all of the time, it doesn't make the news. It wouldn't have"ruined their reputation." if they had pressed charges. Oh surprise surprise she has a boyfriend she didn't mention until it was convenient to shut down the ex who suddenly reappeares in her life and wants her back soooo badly. There's potential but its written so immaturely, like one of those soap opera like manhuas.
Men ♂️ get hypnotized by their Unconscious into getting with women ♀️ they are not really into *ALL* the time. So it seems plausible to me. Guy gets into a relationship with a girl. Realizes he was never really into her when a hot girl making a move on him snaps him out of it. Guy too cowardly to break up with the old girl.
@@punishanpika I don't deny that it's possible, just that it's written so badly the story itself gives that fake/embellished feeling. Given they were together during the whole wedding planning which op showed disinterest in he fell for more than just looks. But it works more in OPs favor if you're reason is shallow like "but she's so much prettier than you." Instead of "we spent so much time together (because your lack of interest in us spending the rest of our lives together have us the opportunity) that I connected and fell for her." Looks the op can't help. Not being there an allowing the connection to form, she can. Cheaters are cheaters op isn't to blame but really pushes that "I did absolutely nothing wrong." Angle.
