  • What's the difference between a game jam, an indie game and a AAA title when it comes to programming. What are the challenges when programming things and is it ok to make bad, smelly piece of Code?

Thanks for these videos! A wider perspective with planning and deciding what patterns to use is something I see rarely covered, at least with Godot in mind. One notable example are videos by Tutemic (sadly no signs of life since 2021).
One criticism I have is the sound you used when showing a title card - there's a lot of high frequencies that are a bit painful, maybe try a different sound, or make it much, much quieter?

Will try. It's my best attempt at making a digital glitch noise. I'm not very experienced in sound design. Thank you for the feedback!

@@Ombarus It just so happens that I have a channel all about making audio with open-source software :D
Maybe my tutorials can help you somehow?

The diagrams of the design patterns at the beginning of the video, do they come from a book? Which one? I've been looking at a clear/concise representation of them for a while. Thanks.

It's a random image I found on Google. I mistakenly cropped out the bottom which had the name of the author: Jason S. McDonald

2:00 At first glance, that looks way more sellable than Solar Rogue.
