Wow so many grapes. I have never seen pink before! What do they taste like? In America they sell mainly red and green grapes and sometimes you can find cotten candy grapes. Yes...they taste very similar to cotton candy. Some do not like them though but I love them. Love the Pikachu art!! I love pokemon. I have since I was a young girl! Great work as always! Usually my dumplings steam through but don't get crispy. After watching your video, I never knew I needed to add oil at the end! Also, when I was a child I got something like a fruit sandwich, but it was made with cream cheese and jam. Japanese fruit sandwiches are on another level! I think if you came to america and tried to make one with our fruits and bread, you'd probably be disappointed. Maybe because of the unique properties of japanese soil, your fruit is very tasty! and your bread is always so soft and a little sweet. Any time me or my friends go to japan, we MUST get fruits sandwiches.

I loved the little birds! They were so cute! My Mom has swallows that build a nest in her doorway every year. It’s fun to watch them hatch and grow! As far as having pets goes, it will make you very sad when they pass (one of mine passed recently and I am devastated) but they bring you so much love and happiness that it’s worth it!

When my dog passed away I was terribly sad, I miss him every day, but the worst, when i have a bad day, I know he will be not here to confort me… 1 year after we adopte à new dog. My old miss me but his little sister (we call her like that) made me happy. I can’t live without a dog. It’s hard to say good bye but it’s harder to live without a pet for me… my old called Pepper, it was a Teckel (or Daschhund if you prefer) and the new we call her Tiny ! A adorable little girl

That cheese stuffed chicken looked amazing 😍 I hope you ate the burnt one, wouldn't want to waste it 😋 I loved how cute this week's final bento was; the heart-shaped onigiri was particularly cute!! I got so excited when you put my comment in the beginning of the video along with the others 😂 A feeling akin to "Senpai noticed me" 😆 I loved seeing the birds in the beginning as well. It's so special when you notice that animals have nested in your area. At the school I used to work with, in the playground were several large trees and in the autumn when the leaves fell off you could see old bird nests no longer being used. Every year I would always get some of the younger children asking me where the birds were and every year I would tell them the babies grew up and had flown to a new home; it was lovely to have my story echoed in your video 💕

Look delicious, Hanako! Sweet things for lunch are not uncommon to me, though we do not have fruit sandwiches like that. Here it is common to eat sweet crepes for meals sometimes haha! And I totally agree with you on your closing statement - it's super important to consider how much we've accomplished so far! It's all too easy to reduce your life to your productivity, but it's important to remember that the fun, relaxing and connecting experiences are just as important. Pikachuuuuuuu!!! haha Mr Tamagoyaki Pan is a good boy he deserves a pat and the covers 🤣 once a bird made a nest in a corner of our house and on a rainy day their Mom or Dad couldn't come back so my Mom gave them some crushed pulses and when they were big enough to fly they flew away with their parent's. I was also sad because they flew away.

I have had pets my whole life, and when they would pass away it would break my heart. Even for small animals like a fish or a mouse, I'd cry and cry when I had to say goodbye to them. But I think that they're worth it! They made such a happy impact on my life, and even though I miss them, I would do the grief all over every time if given the choice.

The grapes look really fresh and delicious! Stir fried water spinach is one of my favourite comfort foods. My mother usually adds anchovies to make it more savory.

I've had a few dogs and cats frowong up and now I have two cats. It's so hard to say bye, but they are so lovely to have around. Losing my first pet hit the hardest.

One time I was having a really bad day, so I ordered from my local ramen place, they also had the fruit sandos and I was so excited to try one! They are very uncommon in America. But I tried it and it was just so lovely I nearly cried, it felt like it solved every problem I was having that day!

I've never had a fruit sandwich before (14:48). I like fruit desserts more than baked desserts or chocolate desserts, so I'd really like to try one someday (but I wouldn't cut off the crust because the crust is my favorite part of bread 😉). I think the strawberry/banana combination is the best. I also like strawberry/kiwi, strawberry/blueberry, strawberry/lemonade... I’m from the USA and the idea of a sweet sandwich is a little strange to me but I would be willing to try it! I’ve never had water spinach, but I am always looking for food with more iron that’s not meat. It's never easy to say goodbye 😿I ended up with 5 cats (it started as one, but she was carrying the other 4 in secret inside her 😸 ), and each one was difficult to say goodbye to when they passed. The last one made it just past her 19th birthday. I said "No more after Misty", but I wasn't given a choice. 3 months before Misty's last journey, a stray moved in under the house. He's been coming for a feed ever since 😻

If you want to keep with the chicken, to make the flavored more rich you could add mushrooms or mushroom powder to the meat mixture. It's no substitute for fat, but it is more rich of a flavor than just the chicken.

The birds look like they might be cousins of our Kinglet birds! I used to work at a couple of my local zoos and we would keep an eye on all the wild songbirds. :) With pets in mind, goodbyes are always very hard. I've said goodbye to so many animals in my lifetime. And while I do sometimes have to take a break between animals, I still find more joy in my life when I have animal companions. Currently I have a small bird named Sorun and two 1-year old cats named Yuki and Lino. (I actually had only gone to adopt Yuki, but Lino threw himself out of a cage at me, tried to shove his whole face up my nose, and screamed when the shelter person tried to take him away from me. So he came home with me too. He loves hugs, cuddles, and playing fetch with toys.) Have you tried making egg salad onigiri? I saw someone make that on Instagram and I had to try it. It's so delicious! I make it almost every week now. I'm almost out of hard boiled eggs, so I need to make more so that I can make more egg salad onigiri this week. 😁 Where I live, the only fruit sandwiches you might find would be something like peanut butter and banana. Sometimes peanut butter, Nutella, and banana. I want to try a Japanese style fruit sandwich. I just don't have the right kind of bread. I need to make some. Have a lovely week, Hanako! It's true: these fruit sandwiches seem to be a Japanese thing! I only know of their existence from anime. Another cultural difference you might find interesting: the bread slices in Japan are usually cut much, much thicker than anywhere else in the world.
I've heard that if you add a pinch of baking soda to onions when you cook them, they caramelise much faster!! I've never tried it though... Otsukaresama Hanako!!

ahhh, i got a little embarrassed seeing my comment in the video, hazukashiii... 🙈 But, I hope this isn't too late because, about getting a pet, the reason why I was looking to adopt a cat was actually because my childhood cat had passed away... it's very very sad, but I think that having a happy life with them is worth more than the pain of saying goodbye, yknow? And I think they appreciate our time with us too. also, i really wish i could have a rice ball with prosciutto, my body craves something easy on it like rice and veggies
Just so you know you did not do anything wrong with the caramelized onions. It always takes a long time to do properly. When people give ways to make it super fast they are usually adding sugar so its not the onion's sugars caramelizing or they are just burning them. The microwave is a good way of speeding it up otherwise it may have taken well over an hour. But sadly it just takes a long time to get the sugars in onions to caramelize but the taste is so worth it.

Wow so many grapes. I have never seen pink before! What do they taste like? In America they sell mainly red and green grapes and sometimes you can find cotten candy grapes. Yes...they taste very similar to cotton candy. Some do not like them though but I love them. Love the Pikachu art!! I love pokemon. I have since I was a young girl! Great work as always! Japanese fruit sandwiches are on another level! I think if you came to america and tried to make one with our fruits and bread, you'd probably be disappointed. Maybe because of the unique properties of japanese soil, your fruit is very tasty! and your bread is always so soft and a little sweet. Any time me or my friends go to japan, we MUST get fruits sandwiches.

When my dog passed away I was terribly sad, I miss him every day, but the worst, when i have a bad day, I know he will be not here to confort me… 1 year after we adopte à new dog. My old miss me but his little sister (we call her like that) made me happy. I can’t live without a dog. It’s hard to say good bye but it’s harder to live without a pet for me… my old called Pepper, it was a Teckel (or Daschhund if you prefer) and the new we call her Tiny ! A adorable little girl

I got so excited when you put my comment in the beginning of the video along with the others 😂 A feeling akin to "Senpai noticed me" 😆 I loved seeing the birds in the beginning as well. It's so special when you notice that animals have nested in your area. At the school I used to work with, in the playground were several large trees and in the autumn when the leaves fell off you could see old bird nests no longer being used. Every year I would always get some of the younger children asking me where the birds were and every year I would tell them the babies grew up and had flown to a new home; it was lovely to have my story echoed in your video 💕

Pikachuuuuuuu!!! haha Mr Tamagoyaki Pan is a good boy he deserves a pat and the covers 🤣 once a bird made a nest in a corner of our house and on a rainy day their Mom or Dad couldn't come back so my Mom gave them some crushed pulses and when they were big enough to fly they flew away with their parent's. I was also sad because they flew away.

I have had pets my whole life, and when they would pass away it would break my heart. Even for small animals like a fish or a mouse, I'd cry and cry when I had to say goodbye to them. But I think that they're worth it! They made such a happy impact on my life, and even though I miss them, I would do the grief all over every time if given the choice.

Oh the chicken breast is such a wonderful idea! And you can easily swap out different stuffings so you don't get bored even if you eat it a lot - that's a great recipe when you're cooking for one like me! One time I was having a really bad day, so I ordered from my local ramen place, they also had the fruit sandos and I was so excited to try one! They are very uncommon in America. But I tried it and it was just so lovely I nearly cried, it felt like it solved every problem I was having that day!

I've never had a fruit sandwich before (14:48). I like fruit desserts more than baked desserts or chocolate desserts, so I'd really like to try one someday (but I wouldn't cut off the crust because the crust is my favorite part of bread 😉). I think the strawberry/banana combination is the best. I also like strawberry/kiwi, strawberry/blueberry, strawberry/lemonade... I guess I just like strawberries the most, lol 😅

It's never easy to say goodbye 😿I ended up with 5 cats (it started as one, but she was carrying the other 4 in secret inside her 😸 ), and each one was difficult to say goodbye to when they passed. The last one made it just past her 19th birthday. I said "No more after Misty", but I wasn't given a choice. 3 months before Misty's last journey, a stray moved in under the house. He's been coming for a feed ever since 😻

If you want to keep with the chicken, to make the flavored more rich you could add mushrooms or mushroom powder to the meat mixture. It's no substitute for fat, but it is more rich of a flavor than just the chicken.

The birds look like they might be cousins of our Kinglet birds! I used to work at a couple of my local zoos and we would keep an eye on all the wild songbirds. :)
With pets in mind, goodbyes are always very hard. I've said goodbye to so many animals in my lifetime. And while I do sometimes have to take a break between animals, I still find more joy in my life when I have animal companions. Currently I have a small bird named Sorun and two 1-year old cats named Yuki and Lino. (I actually had only gone to adopt Yuki, but Lino threw himself out of a cage at me, tried to shove his whole face up my nose, and screamed when the shelter person tried to take him away from me. Where I live, the only fruit sandwiches you might find would be something like peanut butter and banana. Sometimes peanut butter, Nutella, and banana. I want to try a Japanese style fruit sandwich. I just don't have the right kind of bread. I need to make some.

Another cultural difference you might find interesting: the bread slices in Japan are usually cut much, much thicker than anywhere else in the world.
I've heard that if you add a pinch of baking soda to onions when you cook them, they caramelise much faster!! I've never tried it though... Otsukaresama Hanako!!

Hanako, you shouldn’t use a plastic cutting board instead use a wooden one
Just so you know you did not do anything wrong with the caramelized onions. It always takes a long time to do properly. When people give ways to make it super fast they are usually adding sugar so its not the onion's sugars caramelizing or they are just burning them. The microwave is a good way of speeding it up otherwise it may have taken well over an hour. But sadly it just takes a long time to get the sugars in onions to caramelize but the taste is so worth it.
What does "Otsukare sama" mean?
It looks like it means "good job!"
