    Okay, I know this is not the point of the video. But the way you scrambled and pushed back that egg white so you didn’t have a weird shaped fried egg. Genius. 🤯

    Very glad Ipod survived and recovered fully from the harsh conditions of washer/dryer combo 🙏 There is a joke that rice can fix any kind of severe damage because of this hack - e.g. "it'll be fine, throw it in some rice" for broken bone, car wreck, fire damage, etc. 😂
    My friend spilled water in his car and spread rice inside to soak it up... then left for several months. Came back to mould in all colours of the rainbow covering every surface of the interior 🌈 Use the rice hack wisely 😭😂

    Yeeeeees ma'am!!! The good ol' rice in the bag trick!! The rice absorbs the water from the ipod, which is really cool when you think about it. And thus, that's why I always make sure to check my pockets before I put my clothings in the wash LOL Luckily I haven't had that issue in a long loooong time!! But i always used to do it by accident as a kid XD Everything looks amazingly delicious, I definitely wanna try your burger method next time instead of getting in-store bought ground beef!! oh yes, we're had to put cell phones in bags of rice over the years :)
    A trick I learned about bottles, like ketchup or mayo for example, as they start to empty out is either to keep them upside down in the fridge - open end downwards - or hold it in your hand, with closed lid, stretch out your arm by your side and spin your arm round and round like a windmill a handful of times. Gravity does the work for you!

    Friday's bento was adorable! The tiny rolled omelet, the tiny meatballs, the little bear onigiri holding the cheese ice-creams; it all worked perfectly!! And it really showed off your creativity; I was so impressed how you got the colours in exactly the right places for the ice-creams. The shallow frying in the pan was also a really good idea. Re the phone, rice soaks up moisture. In the days before air conditioning, it was pretty common for people who lived in humid areas to add a teaspoon to tablespoon of rice to salt & sugar shakers to keep the contents from sticking & clumping.
    Regarding the meat, hamburgers are traditionally 100% beef for that specific flavor, especially with add-ons like onion and tomato slices. However, for other uses such as meatloaf, sausage rolls, meatballs, etc, especially in Europe, a mix of beef pork & veal is commonly used. Some US stores just label it 'meatloaf mix'.
    I really like the little foit boat for frying in oil. Easy to cook small amount, easy to clean.
    As always, I hope your husband appreciates your artistry.

    Hello! Usually aluminium foil shouldn't get in contact with heat as it can make it releas some ions into the food. I don't know if it depends on the quality or if different countries produce it differently but I'd recommend not putting it directly on the pan or in contact with hot food unless the pack specifies it's safe!

    The trick with the rice has been a thing since I was little. It doesn't just work on iPods, but on most small electronics. One time, I accidentally dropped my phone into water: left it overnight in rice, and was as good as new :)

    Hanako; what do you do with the left overs that don't go into the bento? Are they used for a different day or are they a part of your lunch?

    • @hanakoskitchen8868
      @hanakoskitchen8868  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you for your question. It depends on the day, but mostly I eat it for lunch. If there is still too much left over, I rearrange and have it for dinner😊

    You fried potatoes in aluminium foil, but you know that aluminium is carcinogenic, right? You show it practically in your videos, but it is not healthy. You have a lot of followers, please don't encourage this.
