Welcome to That Tracks Podcast! A podcast hosted by two dads who love their families and love theme parks. In this episode, our Pilot episode, we outline who we are and why we are doing this. We discuss the name of the podcast and what it means to us. We also discuss some of what we envision for this podcast. We are here to talk all things fatherhood and theme parks, but with Tim and Nick, you will learn that you never know where the conversation might end up. Ever wondered what the meaning of festoon is? Lol, I thought the same … this many years watching Jenn & Tim and don’t recall them mentioning his Dad being a cast member. I wonder what it’s like to be a vlogger that really grew up “in Disney” per se.

This was a great vlog and I really enjoyed it, but Tim please, close your legs. That was weird.
I really missed Tom and Jen’s podcast from years ago. I loved how they went off on crazy tangents. This is very reminiscent of that. Hope Jen gets to make a guest appearance occasionally too! Looking forward to seeing how far you take this thing!
I agree, Tim and Jenn are just hilarious together. I love when they go off on tangents and get super giggly and all the inside jokes they have lol.

You should do the Myers-Briggs Personality Test. It used to be for college/corporate use only, but it is free now and only takes 45 mins to complete. I’m an advocate and my husband is an adventurer. Both were spot on and actually really helped us understand each other even better 📚🎉

I am looking forward-- this is strange because I didn't get to grow up with a Dad-- I am looking forward to the dad perspective from dads who love their kids and appreciate making specific memories with their kids. Also I love Tim's randomness. And Nick's thoughtfulness. This is gonna be great. Maybe you could have on other influencer dads. Why not? The world is your palm tree. The sky is the limit. This podcast came along in the nick of time. OMG I'm so excited for dad jokes. SEEMS LEGIT.

Great first episode guys ! I’ve been following Tim for about 8 years and from bits I’ve seen on their channel with Nick, he seems a cool guy too and look forward to future episodes. Being from the UK Orlando is expensive to visit but I have been lucky to do so 5 times, last time in 2022 and currently planning a 2025 visit. To get our Disney fix we are going to Disneyland Paris next month. We are most looking forward to going on Tron and hopefully to Epic Universe.

Festoon/festooning is one of my favorite words/activities! I'm a dentist that specializes in replacing missing teeth (prosthodontics) and festooning is a word we use everyday! It's used to describe carving and finishing wax on dentures (the pink "gum" part) before they are processed into acrylic. I find it to be a really fun, artistic part of the denture making process trying to make the "gums" look as realistic as possible.

Thoroughly enjoyed Episode 001. I think Nick & Tim have a good chemistry & I have liked Nick's appearances in Tim's TH-cam vids. Looking forward to more joint coverage of things like D23/Destination Disney & IAAPA in the future. I think it would be kewl if your families went on a joint vacation to another Theme Park outside of Florida like Silver Dollar City or Cedar Point. Regardless, I am looking forward to what comes next.
Been a huge fan of the old podcast for years, and was excited to see a new podcast with Tim crop up after two years of TheTimTrackerPodcast not updating. While I am ready for this new journey, I found that deleting the old podcast entirely in order to make way for the new one excessive, and feel as though instead of repurposing the old, beloved podcast channel for the new one, they could keep the old one for the memories and make a new channel just for That Tracks, keeping both fans of the old podcast happy, and fans of the new podcast satisfied. Just a thought, is all.

I work in a warehouse, and we're allowed to wear one headphone. I listen to podcasts for about 8 hours a day, so I'm happy for a new one.

Such an enjoyable listen! (I listened to this first episode, but will most likely watch too!)
A few thoughts:
That Tracks is an incredible title! I said “that tracks” multiple times during some of Tim’s little journeys :) and I love the train/coaster metaphors as well
Also, please host a Track-athon! It would be such fun to call in and chat!
My whole family loves watching you guys, so excited to follow this new adventure and get to know Nick too!
We plan to become passholders this year! See ya all in the parks!

Nice to come across this new channel. I have watched Tim’s for a few years though don’t get to watch all of them. I don’t have Instagram so can’t follow Nick but have seen you in a few of Tim’s vids so excited for this new podcast 😊
I saw this on Instagram last week and couldn't find the channel. I didn't realize you would be switching over your previous podcast with Jen. It can be risky, since some people may not mesh with this new type of podcast. Hearing about the origins of how you two met finally makes more sense to me (Jen pushed for Tim to have a dad friend) ;) I've followed 2 previous iterations of Tim podcasts and I think the best by far was the BLT Lunchbreak chat one with the 2 other guys. So I'll give this a chance too. No worries Tim, as someone who's Nick's age at the younger side of Millennial, I relate to your perspectives more ... 😶
*Side Note: As a marine biologist, hemocyanin is the cause of a horseshoe crabs blue blood, though its only blue upon oxygenation as ours (vertebrates) is red due to the protein hemoglobin. However, most molluscs (Phylum Mollusca) have this protein from gastropods (snails) to cephalopods (squid, octopus, cuttlefish and nautilus).

I was intrigued by Nick’s determination to pigeon hole everyone and label their personalities. I am like Tim in that I do those tests and never fall in to one obvious category. I have aspects of all the personality traits. I read that means you are a well balanced person!

I believe we are born with a basic introvert or extrovert personality but so many things like your upbringing, your position in the family, your life experiences, the era that you live in, all of this bring changes and adaptions to your personality and it develops and changes over time also.
