- The Corrs are back with their album Best Of The Corrs - newly reissued in expanded form for the first time on vinyl - out December 1st in a limited edition 2LP gold vinyl format and expanded 2 CD collection. They've recently released a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Songbird’ - Andrea and Caroline Corr join us for a chat.

Before the Corrs were famous I was going up escalator into an old world train station in Dublin. Riding up I could hear this beautiful music and singing. It was fairly dark inside this station and there was an oldie worldie train used in films in Ireland and it was lit up inside. I saw inside it were these absolutely stunning girls with shiny, shiny hair singing with cameras and lights focused on them. It was the Corrs, although I didn't know it then as they were not known at that point - just wondered who these beautiful people were. The song they were singing was Runaway and it sounded so beautiful echoing around this old train station.
How lovely to have that memory...and that introduction to hearing the Corrs; thanks for sharing it with us 🤗

@@MattScales It's not just being about "good looking" it's her whole personality, the way she talks, the way her whole face lights up like sunshine when she smiles and her eyes sparkle when she is enthusiastic about something. She is "magnetic", fun, and gorgeous.

The Corrs, still at the top physically and musically !! I've been listening to them since 1999 and I saw them in Dublin and Paris several years ago ! Great musicians and singers ! Love them so much !

When craig asked her about their recent tour, you can see it on her face and her eyes the genuine feeling of happiness while she was telling the story of their "amazing" experience in the Philippines and indonesia... 💕

The audience went mental when they started Runaway in Melbourne. It was overwhelming. Rod Laver Arena maintenance crew are still repairing the stadium.

Saw The Corrs in a small theatre in Manchester. They were supporting Celine Dion, believe it or not. Wow they were and still are amazing. Their music is so organic, still as fresh today. Thank you for the music guys. Brilliant!!!!! Kym x👍🏻🌹

"You don't age!!" Never were truer words spoken!😍 I had no idea The Corrs were on tour again, until I saw some concert videos from the Manila show(s). Andrea got pretty choked up when 10,000+ people were singing in perfect harmony, and on-key, right along with her. That just goes to show what an impact their music has made over the years! I sincerely hope they do another U.S. tour in the near future!😄👍👍
The second time I saw them was at Lansdowne Rd. Dublin in 1999. Couldn't hear a word that Andrea was singing during the opening song (Only When I Sleep) as the crowd was making so much noise.
Seem to recall Andrea getting emotional too with the crowd singing along to Runaway.
4th time will be in November, can't wait for that

I have all of the Albums of the Corrs. The 7 Studio Albums, The Best of the Corrs and the Corrs Unplugged. And I do believe that the Corrs is better than U2 regardless if you agree or not with me. I just like the Corrs music that much.
The atmosphere and background are just so great you can expect from this family, it all fits so well just like a band like Clannad can do, something Irish magic, I'll guess..
Brings me back to that David Brent scene about the Corrs.
