If you blow the RF Hub fuze look for FO36 in the driver side fuze box. It’s the only red 7.5 at the top in the row, the rest are yellow 20 minis. Had one where Pop-A-Lock couldn’t get it programmed and blew it. Took an hour to diagnose and find that out.
Does this mean if in a newer jeep Wrangler pulling the security gateway or diagnostic port fuse could be a theft prevention method? So a key can't be programmed? Would that affect act normal operation?
The guys at the workshop i work at serviced a Jeep Compass 3 months ago (before i started working here) and didn't make an oil service reset. It's my duty to make the service reset now (car doesn't need service) and i cant seem to be able to do so. Manual reset doesn't work, reset using MaxiSys doesn't work, using DiagZone doesn't work as well. It's saying no communication with module. Any thoughts?

Thank you for your question. The IM608 can read the Pin Code on a Jeep Renegade even if the alarm is active. If the 12+8 Cable didn't work for you I would suggest that you try connecting to the vehicle at the RF Hub with one of several Bypass Cables that are available from our website.
i can see what u doing now, u buy 3 way OBD 1 male & 2 female & then make 2 wires to another male OBD terminals & clips into RFH so u can able read the pin out. not bad make my friend and the think is this is setup have a long wires reach from car OBD2 connector all the way back to tail gate where RFH locate that awsome made thanks a lot video u sharing
Thank you for taking a minute to comment on our video. In this case the J2534 is not needed to pull this pin code. You could use the IM508 connected to the vehicle and still pull the Pin Code. The IM608 uses the J2534 for it's VCI (Vehicle Communications Interface) but a J2534 is not necessary for this procedure.

Thank you for asking another question. Unfortunately we see this sort of thing often with devices that are sold improperly. If Autel told you they cannot help you, your only course of action would be to contact the seller that you purchased the device from and see if they can help you. If they cannot help you the only other thing that we could offer would be to sell you a new legitimate device.

Using Auto Auth and reading the Pin Code from the vehicle oftentimes does not work. The only proven method to read the Pin Code, in a vehicle with a Security Gateway Module, currently is to bypass the Gateway
I have to say that I've been using autoauth and sometimes it takes 4,5, tries to get pin but in some models I rather try 10 times before pulling half the car appart to reach the gateway. Like dodge ram behind the radio.

Unfortunately the RFH wouldn’t respond at all and caused the working remote to crease until diagnosis.
