Love this! I’m getting paid $35hr with 2 kids but it’s weekends only. It works perfect with my schedule. I’m in the San Francisco area but the pay is high here! The good paying rates start from $25-35hr.

this was so helpful! currently completing my student teaching, and i'm not quite sure if that's the exact path i want to take. so i'm going to finish up getting my degree and most likely pursue working as a nanny.
Sorry I didn’t see this sooner. It was such a good decision for me too through college. It was hard looking back but I can say that I did it!
I really feel like you should not wash a grown ass person's dishes or cleaning their house you are to clean after the kids and do stuff with their kids not them i really feel like if they needed a maid they can afford one

how do you get a W2 for nannying? like how do you get legal documentation for being a nanny?
Hiii! This video is so informative!! I am trying to a find a new job and have always loved kids. I have a couple questions if you don’t mind answering. Did you have to get cpr certified for your nanny job? And also if you don’t mind asking by how much do you get paid? Last question, I haven’t had any recent experience with kids but I used to babysit a lot when I was younger and when I was in high school I took early childhood classes for 2 years where I interned at an elementary school (helping a 3rd grade class). Do you think this is enough experience?

Go on Facebook and join caregiving/nanny groups. Or babysitting groups in your area. There are always moms looking for a nanny! (:

when you said nannies can make like $13-14 an hour does that mean per child that you’re caring for?? so if its two children you’re taking care of you’re really making $26 an hour?

No actually that was for both kids. But that was just what I started out at. I got a raise every 6ish months. So by the end I was making really good money. Getting a good nanny is hard so at first it was low but they wanted to make sure I stayed. Just have an agreement before hand of raises 💗

Care.com but another way is going on Facebook and join nanny pages for your area. That’s free! Sometimes they are called childcare/ caretaker
