You are amazing - running a business, raising a family, and still finding time to make so many lovely garments. I especially like the blouse and the waistcoat.
Aaaah thank you so much for your kind words, I must admit i am soooo ready for a break at Christmas now and will come back re-energised and ready to take on 2025. Thanks for your support.
Thanks Kathryn, yes I think you can learn so much from reflecting and thinking about what you liked the most and why. You have so many items in your handmade wardrobe I bet there are lots of favourites there.
Thank you so much for this round up of your favourites. I love the Rosco blouse and the waistcoat. You look gorgeous in them all. Fabulous website too. I remember buying a rust coloured satin waistcoat and matching jeans in the early 70’s, and it was my favourite at the time. It was before the internet of course, so I had to phone shops to find it after seeing it in a magazine, then pop into London to buy it. Very glad I did! I wish I’d kept it!.
It's a pleasure, oh my goodness I love your story from the 70s! Finding beautiful things was so exciting in those days and so amazing you rang round the shops to bag your treasure. There are so many things my Mom had in the 70s and I'm always saying Mom why didn't you keep them - soft leather burgundy knee high boots as one example, how gorgeous!
What a fab favourite selection Lucy! The blouse is my favourite and I may have to place an order 😂 I love your videos and look forward to next year and all your new makes! Have a wonderful Christmas with your family xx
It is the best fabric ever, we will add it this week, meant to add it before the video went live, so sorry we didn't make it, but keep your eyes peeled I'll get it on this week!
have watched and enjoyed several of your videos today after finding the Overlocker Tips video. With this video & links, the Vicki Sews Esther Dress is unavailable? How will I know when it is re-stocked? I usually download the AO printable options, as I live in Perth, West Australia
