This is an Irish melody written by Thomas Moore for his wife who was serious I'll my dad who has now passed thought me this beautiful melody when i eas a child ❤❤❤❤
When Suzan sings I absolutely feel like crying. She is the best soprano I have ever heard.

I wonder if they realised what they had lost when suzan left.......the lost rose!........no other of Andre’s sopranos has come close to her....she was simply the best. Her version of ‘don’t cry for me argentina’ is sublime.....one of the best works on you tube,made for her voice!🌹🌹🌹

I've enjoyed Andre with JSO, for more than My uncle (RIP) introduced me to Andre 35 years ago. What more can I say? The music is a lullaby. Eventually, Andre and JSO are going to retire I hope there will be people to take their place.

It IS the story of life!!
My brother chose this song to be played at our beloved mom's grave when we lowered the urn with her ashes to rest next to my father's casket. It was very moving. My mother was a huge fan of Andre Rieu and his orchestra. We would watch any of his televised concerts for the past years of her live, when she could not travel to see one of his live concerts any longer. Thank you for the gift of music, Mr Rieu. God bless you.
It was played at the end of my husband’s funeral service too.

The violinist, Maestro Andre Rieu, and the flutist are exquisite, playing with so much feeling. The same is to be said of the wonderful sopranos and orchestra. Divine!

This song sends me a on a rollercoaster of emotions everytime. My grandfather loved Andre so much! He had been to several concerts and would listen to Andre every afternoon. Sadly he lost his battle with cancer this year on the 7th of Feb 2018. This was one of his favourite songs, which he would listen to whilst he was in hospital. We had this song played at his funeral when we were laying the last roses on his coffin at the end. I miss him so much, more than words can describe. Thankyou Andre for your perfect music and thankyou for this song. ❤️

I learn this song when I was in primary school. The beautiful song fills the gap between our nationality and ages of generation. Thank you.
