Man, this scene is super nostalgic for me. My parents have owned a food truck since I was 6 years old. Every summer since then till this year we've spent our summer working at county fairs in the midwest, just going from event, to event, to event for 10 or so weeks. Every week a new setup and tear down, a new location, new people. I thought I'd be happy to finally get a year away from it... but in the end, I've come to the conclusion more than anything it saddened me... not being able to do it. Between this summer job and the number of times, I've moved it's the only place that I've ever really felt like was home. Sure it's hard work, in a small, hot space, with 5 or so other people, working long, hard days and nights, and getting bout 5hrs of sleep or so but, nothing is quite like it. The only thing I've really found that can replicate it to a degree is stuff like Universal studios. Large crowds, rides, food, and entertainment all over the place, the sounds of people screaming on a ride, reminds me of that job I call home. Few more people, a lot less work, and less interacting with people, but it's close enough. Anyway, this scene brings back a bit of that energy/memories. It's comforting.
It’s a reimagining of over the top with Sylvester Stallone. No joke. If you liked this movie, you’ll enjoy over the top. I prefer this one. But they are close and follow the same emotional and action pace.
This song brings back so many memories from real steel when my dad was a trucker i used to go with him everywhere and when we stopped for the night i used to watch real steel on a little portable dvd player and my dad watched it with me and now everytime i hear this song or watch real steel i cry from the memories thanks Alexi Murdoch and Shawn Levy i love you dad you will always be my hero
It is such a nice song... and the film is good too. I was surprised how seriously it took itself. Especially during these opening credits i realized: That is going to be not so corny i expected it would be. The Visual Effects are great, the music by Danny Elfman is very cool and the actors do a good job. The movie is worth checking out.
Using Alexi Murdoch for the main title told me immediately that this movie was NOT what I was expecting. I figured it for a generic techno action flick, but it was actually a father/son bonding flick (still generic but way more heartfelt).
When I first went to Delhi From home for education, this was the first movie I watched and the song I heard. I can't believe it's been a decade and now I'm currently at home not Delhi. Time passes so fast.
Holly crapp, okay listen if you can be bothered, i found this artist threw a show i watched like 3 years ago but only like a week ago i listened to his other song and recognised one from a film i watched as a kid, i searched but i couldn’t find a film i had seen, i then stumble across this yt video and low and behold its the childhood film. Im amazed
Well I have been searching all of my days All of my days Many a road, you know I?ve been walking on All of my days And I?ve been trying to find What?s been in my mind As the days keep turning into night Well I have been quietly standing in the shade All of my days Watch the sky breaking on the promise that we made All of this rain And I?ve been trying to find What?s been in my mind As the days keep turning into night Well many a night I found myself with no friends standing near All of my days I cried aloud I shook my hands What am I doing here All of these days For I look around me And my eyes confound me And it?s just too bright As the days keep turning into night Now I see clearly It?s you I?m looking for All of my days Soon I?ll smile I know I?ll feel this loneliness no more All of my days For I look around me And it seems He found me And it?s coming into sight As the days keep turning into night As the days keep turning into night And even breathing feels all right Yes, even breathing feels all right Now even breathing feels all right It?s even breathing Feels all right
Weird how this movie was set in 2020 and was marketed as a "futuristic" movie and we're already in 2022. Also little did they know what would happen that year lol.

Same
ay same here
Greatest opening track ever.
Agreed bud
The Warriors 💀👊🏻🤕
I love this scene so much. It conveys so much emotion and yet not a single line of dialogue is spoken. Shawn Levy is such an underrated director.
It is a simple, yet beautiful scene..
its just a man watching around and listening
it reminds you when times are good?
Its 2024 and Shawn Levy directing Deadpool and Wolverine which is about to bring Marvel Cinematic Universe life

It’s always the things that you less expect to miss.
This movie was so underrated. I grew up watching it with my dad. This movie gives me fond memories of him 😌
Same with my dad
This movie is basically a father and son relationship
Exactly the same thing for me 😊
It’s a reimagining of over the top with Sylvester Stallone. No joke. If you liked this movie, you’ll enjoy over the top. I prefer this one. But they are close and follow the same emotional and action pace.
Underrated? This movie is divine
I dont know why. But this is easily one if the most peaceful and serene movie openings ever.
This gotta be one of the greatest openings to a movie ever made! Good memories
My favorite opening scene
Chills literally chills, I grew up watching this
This song brings back so many memories from real steel when my dad was a trucker i used to go with him everywhere and when we stopped for the night i used to watch real steel on a little portable dvd player and my dad watched it with me and now everytime i hear this song or watch real steel i cry from the memories thanks Alexi Murdoch and Shawn Levy i love you dad you will always be my hero

No it's alexi murdoch😅
@@Ice-es5hu I know that, but the score itself is by Danny Elfman. Only the opening song is by Murdoch.
@@TheDeppertLasseVogt Ohhh but it is super relaxing tho 😁
@@Ice-es5hu Sure it is. I was simply also talking about the film this song is featured in.
@@TheDeppertLasseVogt yepp
This song hits different 😢. Love Hugh Jackman, love this song, love Alexi Murdoch
Real Steel is my favourite childhood movie and it will always be my favourite I love Hugh Jackman and Shawn Levy I also love this song
Amazing scene and this music.... ohhh man, it shed a tear on my face.
This is one of my favorite songs to listen to while tripping
This scene makes me cry it reminds me when i left my home and familly for job
Why isn't Alexi Murdoch big and famous with this song and 'someday soon'
This SHOULD'VE BEEN the opening track for Logan.
Really this is my favorite song, with my favorite video.
Using Alexi Murdoch for the main title told me immediately that this movie was NOT what I was expecting. I figured it for a generic techno action flick, but it was actually a father/son bonding flick (still generic but way more heartfelt).
This feeling when Wolverine, Falcon and Wasp are in the same movie... Only Marvel fans will understand ;P
actor
Oh and young Thor as well :)
And Tony Stark's mother!

Best move made ever
Trivia: it was at Steven Spielberg’s behest that the production team built practical robots for the non-boxing sequences.
2021 and i still watching this scene ❤️I wish live was like this scene
Idk why, i got nostalgia when see this scene again. 😢
First time watched this movie when I was 4 or 5 and I also liked the ambush intro scene because I liked ambush at that time great movie tho
Nice memories of a nice movie
Well I have been searching all of my days
All of my days
Many a road, you know
I?ve been walking on
All of my days
And I?ve been trying to find
What?s been in my mind
As the days keep turning into night
Well I have been quietly standing in the shade
All of my days
Watch the sky breaking on the promise that we made
All of this rain
And I?ve been trying to find
What?s been in my mind
As the days keep turning into night
Well many a night I found myself with no friends standing near
All of my days
I cried aloud
I shook my hands
What am I doing here
All of these days
For I look around me
And my eyes confound me
And it?s just too bright
As the days keep turning into night
Now I see clearly
It?s you I?m looking for
All of my days
Soon I?ll smile
I know I?ll feel this loneliness no more
All of my days
For I look around me
And it seems He found me
And it?s coming into sight
As the days keep turning into night
As the days keep turning into night
And even breathing feels all right
Yes, even breathing feels all right
Now even breathing feels all right
It?s even breathing
Feels all right

I thought this movie looked like cutter crap from the previews but surprisingly it was an amazing movie

Real steel deserves a sequel
Didn’t earn enough money for that unfortunately
Long hour working Folks can Relate
This scene always makes me to go out driving to buy some burritos

All of my days - Alexi Murdoch
Jesus, this was ten years ago…
Hi im from future😭🥺
Take me back plz
Who is singing
Alexi murdoch
I remember that singer
I had a filling that truck was an old Leyland.
Year 3000 version of "over the top"
Lol all the comments are about the song, I’m from the area this was filmed, that’s a little more exciting than the song
If you like this song check out Nick Drake. I was almost positive this was him.
wow
:')
Well this film had somewhat of a boring opening with a the best end credit song.
I wouldn’t say boring. More like subtle
🙂💫🥹
Hmmm? 👦 & 🦊
