PLEASE READ THIS PINNED COMMENT! I made several, essential mistakes on the first drawing: The neck and spine are too long. The cheeks are a little bit too wide. The shoulders don't go far enough back. The drawings in the other videos in my cat tutorial series are more accurate. Also, I am sorry that the beginning is too far zoomed out to see clearly what I'm doing, and that I used a bright orange for sketching, which is hard to see on the white background. The grid made it harder to see the details as well. And the music is a bit too loud. I'm deeply sorry for all of that... My later videos have none of these issues. This video taught me to additionally use prepared sketches for better-looking and more accurate results. I always properly zoom in on what I'm drawing, and use colors for sketching that are much easier to see. This is the best way to point out these mistakes. TH-cam unfortunately removed the ability to add text notes in the videos a while ago. Even though this video has all these issues, I still think that it can be potentially useful. Therefore, as long as I point out these mistakes, I would say that it is still valid to be called a "tutorial". Also, something like a "perfect" tutorial doesn't exist anyways, and I never said that the techniques and knowledge I present in my videos are absolute. @@Mink-tDR I loved the video! will you be doing anymore how to draw cat videos besides the few you already have? do you have any extra advice when it comes to drawing them? :)
@@penelopeviolete4664 Well, I have 5 videos in my playlist about house cats, and 4 about different wild cats. I'm not planning on making anything cat related anytime soon, hahah.
As for advice, I don't really know what else to say that is not already mentioned in my tutorials.
@@Mink-tDR Aww thats too bad but I understand! Ill take a look at the wild cats videos soon then! I do have one question though, when drawing the shoulders and hips of the cat, how do you measure the width/length of them? i feel like i draw them either too short or too long lol (im sorry if this is something you mentioned in another video and I simply haven't seen it yet) Thank you so much for replying too!
@@penelopeviolete4664 The width of the shoulders and hips is approximately the width of the head. You can see that when you look at pictures of cats from above.
And sure, I always gladly answer any questions~ :3
This was super helpful! Thanks! And you’re super good at drawing btw 🤗
Also please make more parts to this! I haven’t seen many channels explaining in such detail with the anatomy like you do and it’s extremely helpful!!
Oh and I loved your comic!!

And thanks for these kind and encouraging words~ :3
Yeah, there will be more parts. Kittens, special poses, different breeds and how they express emotions.
It will take a while, because I am working on other stuff right now. But they are in the process!
