This Luke Thomas guy is crazy based! That's some really solid advice I know could do a lotta struggling young men a world of good to hear. Thx for being open about your own struggles in the past dude! So often we're presented with versions of masculinity that are just destructive to men, women, the very idea of the family, and a flourishing society as a whole. Times are hard, especially for young guys with the state of the economy and changing (but overall positive) societal expectations and roles. I'm seeing a lot of young men and teen boys even looking at the changing world around them and just getting dissolutioned by what they're prospects are for gainful employment and dating. It's really sad and infuriating to me to see how a lot of established men are choosing to target these young guys for a a source of easy revenue, exploiting their insecurities and unease with society. They're taking these already confused and struggling young men just giving them all lies, convincing them that their problems are being caused by every other group in society. This robs these guys of the indescribably invaluable tool of self reflection and the positives that can lead to for a man (for anyone really). If you never introspect, you never grow, and you'll never be able to adapt to situations that life is gonna throw at you, sometimes when you least expect it. Missing out on leaving to self assess and correct will cripple you in the long run, especially in terms of dating, and maintaining a long, healthy, happy marriage. Being a man isn't easy, especially in today's world. No one promised it would be. But certainly part of what makes a strong man and a good leader generally is the ability to identify and confront your inner demons, recognize how you can be a positive force on the people around you, and respecting both women and other men as you would expect to receive that respect back from them. That can all sound kinda trivial and perhaps obvious. But doing all that consistently will lead you to being more confident in yourself because you'll find ways to weaken your insecurities as you conquer them. It'll also make you far more pleasant to be around to other men and certainly too women. Anyway, think it's really great to see decent men stepping up like Luke did and trying to give real advice to young men that'll actual help make their lives better. Wish you all a fantastic 2023!

The argument that nobody seems to have the courage to make is that the show must go on. The NFL and its employees are in the business of producing entertainment for customers. It has been the tradition of entertainers for as long as I've known that the show must go on if there is an audience. Railroad workers had their strike broken just trying to get sick days, if someone dies during a Walmart shift everyone else has to get back to work or be fired, until there is justice for them NFL players should finish the game.

Dana grabbed her and from a video one can't really judge whether he used that to hurt her. He also had 100lbs on her and is a former boxing coach. He wasn't in danger and could have easily grabbed both her arms to control her until bystanders could get between them. How can you justify that a 50+ year old is not able to handle a situation like this better?

Will Meadowlark in the future promote more MMA watch parties if nothing comes of the altercation with Dana White and his wife?

And you're right, Dan can be excellent at shining a light on the hypocrisy of the media as part of the pro sports industrial complex, but it would be nice if he acknowledges HIS part, and his show's part in it. They market themselves as a "pirate ship" and in a real sense, define themselves in the context of them leaving the ESPN machine. But they left "the machine", to become their own version of the machine. They've taken DraftKings money, and DraftKings has relationships with all these leagues (and ESPN). There are definite limits to what he's willing to say (and do)
