For years, Dana has talked smack about real fighters. Mocked them in defeat, questioned their heart, etc. Dana talks tough like he's a fighter -- even said he used to box -- but the only person we've ever seen him hit is his wife.

As an avid MMA fan of almost 20 years it's quite something to witness someone in the MMA world actually willing to hold Dana White accountable for something. About time.
As a casual MMA fan, it's the reason some of us stay away from it. I like pro wrestling but Vince is a bastard of the highest order. I was sick of people pretending Dana wasn't as scummy because of the "legitimacy" of the sport. He always was a slimy business centric hypocrite and it's only til he hits his wife you all treat him with the proper disdaine? That's why the UFC is a joke.

@@rbaz9454 Dana has to walk a line with certain things. They are independent contractors and if one too many or the wrong line is crossed he will classify the UFC as employers and they will owe certain taxes and insurance.

Ariel should’ve held Dana’s wife accountable for her actions too, not just Dana. It’s not ok for a woman to smack her husband and vice versa. Most people seem to not care that he was hit.

Where are the repercussions for the woman in the situation? You all are looking to hammer Dana, but what about his wife? BOTH should be accountable. Fair is fair. A woman should never hit the father of her children. And of course, the father should never hit the mother of his children. Quit your domestic violence - for BOTH parties.
Especially when a woman hits on the grounds (or expectation) that she can just hit you and get away with it. Women are aware that they will be White Knighted by the likes of Ariel, so they use that as leverage to do whatever they want. She knew the consequences, and she got a fair warning via a slap in return.

Went to walk my dogs and as I was finishing my walk, the way this video ended it really spoke to me. How people talk about others, the lack of empathy they show for others, it says more about them than it does about you. When Dana said the comment about your kids Ariel, I thought nothing of it because it didn’t carry any weight on the type of person you are; but hearing you repeat those words back to him, after what he just did, it spoke volumes of what type of person he is. I agree with your take for the most part, but in all honesty, ALL adults should learn to keep their hands to themselves, and they should all understand that hitting another human being might result in you getting hit back. Men shouldn’t hit women and women should also sure as hell not hit their husbands. The double standard here does not make sense.
Ariel's advice to 'just walk away' if a woman keeps hitting you is unreasonable and if nothing else, allowing a woman to hit you without consequence sets a precedent that they can just do whatever they want. It isn't human nature to take away someone's ability to defend themselves. Yes, most women may not pose a physical thread to a man, but what if an Amanda Nunes (or an MMA-trained woman) is hitting me? should I walk away then? Ariel is a cuck

The only reason there haven't been more Dana scandals, is most people with dirt on him are probably still reliant on him financially. If female fighters, ring girls, ESPN employees, etc talk about his behavior they lose their jobs.
