Ye it gets so dull. Walk here talk to npc who tells you to go walk and talk to another npc who tells you to do the same then kill some bugs.:the boss battles are amazing but the amount of filler makes the game not fun at all
Final fantasy 16 is the best game I’ve ever played so far. It’s such a breath of fresh air from BDO. I really don’t like the long grind games that much where it’s so repetitive. Crimson desert is coming out too which is going to be so much nice. I wish every mmo would learn from final fantasy and try to copy the systems as much as possible.
It sucks you can’t get the sword until the final story mission. I’ve been doing all hunts and side contents as they unlock so I won’t have any content to use the sword on once I get it. Except the final mission pretty much. Kinda sucks.
@@mfdoom8262the sword immediately becomes obsolete again in new game plus. Then you get the next best weapon on the last boss fight again. So pretty much no value in replay other than trying to have a more challenging play through by making handicaps
I don't play FF anymore. The last FF games i played were 789 Tactics and 10 but thanks to 16 i discovered FF14 Dad of Light and it was a good short series!
I wish some weapons had abilities rather than just stat boosts. Also wish you could put abilities on weapons and armor pieces. Other then that I am loving this game.

Ff16 is probably the only game in which gearing ip has zero to almost none effects at all. Its just means of free skins. And at no point i felt op or strong enough to say that it was worth all the effort
I had the same question but I just got them all so yes there are a total of 5 so you can complete the Gotter and 2 sun accessories (prioritize the belt over the bracer bc there’s a superior bracer you can get (technically 3 DEF less but like 32 VIT more)

@@stevenarnold6336 the game doesn’t let you sell stormcry. If you made it you already used the windshard. You likely crafted “flame tongue” which requires stormcry. Each weapon from an eikon requires the previous to be crafted. I thought I made the same mistake
No, you shouldn’t. You need Gotterdammerung for NG+ as it’s the best weapon in the game at that point and you literally get given another Ragnorak in NG+ to use for the Ultima weapon

Which are only Available in NG+. so there’s really no point saving ragnarok in the first play thorough. Although you could save the lower class materiels. Somehow ultima weapon requires a lot of those. Like 1000 magical ash or so.
Obviously my experience doesn't speak for the rest, but I personally haven't encountered a single performance issue or supposed frame drop that everyone is having. No stuttering or crashes either, so far it has ran very smoothly. My only complaint is the motion blur which for some reason we cannot turn off, but other than that the game runs great *for me*
combat is locked at 60 fps on performance mode, havent faced any issues during combat but outside of combat u will experience some fps drops in the earlier stages when exploring the map of the game but later on they disappear. graphics mode is great too no issues there
I don't think you're locked out of it you don't make darksteel it's a drop from high level hunts. you just won't be able to make the esper swords as you progress
@@Shady4Dayz I thought I did the same thing mid game and I was so confused bc I made not sure not to sell the cool eikon weapons. Turns out the game doesn’t let you sell them anyway, any of the purple or gold icon weapons you can’t sell

if you beat it twise you can get the ultama weapon that has 700 on both

Play at 30fps locked. End of worries.
I haven't had any issues as of yet, but I went with graphic instead of 30fps
No performance issues from my experience yet. I would definitely recommend playing with the focus on graphics over fps tho
