If you're trying to say you look at someones artstyle and try to draw it, same here. It's gotten to the point where I barely make any errors. It's actually a really good way to practice unironically, Ive only drawn everyday with this technique for 2 years and a half and already im noticing insane improvmeent, like i feel like I can draw anything!
Artists I like: 1. bluebiscuits -a popular artist on youtube that teaches (or at least tries) and helps people improve on their art. What I like about bluebiscuits; her artstyle and overall form of art is quite pleasing to the eye, due to how vibrant and lively it is. I find that her drawings seem to have more shading+lighting and is quite detailed like most artists. 2. JiagailleE - (also of course) an artist on youtube which makes animations(?) And speedpaints mostly in fandoms. What I like about JiagailleE; I feel that the simplicity in her art speaks a lot about drawings not needing to be extremely overfilled with things that are unecessary, the warm(?) toned colors in her art are beautiful in on it's own. 3. Maxley- She/he's(?) a person who mostly makes animations and has (mostlikely) taken commisions and/or requests from people. What I like about Maxley-; their art is adorable, and has a lot of pastel colors. It's like a mix of chibi and anime-ish, which in my opinion is nice. I really like how they do eyes! It's so pretty and adds so much life into their art+animations. 4. jespercesper - someone who enjoys art as a fun side hobby, like JiagailleE, she/he also makes animations in a fandom she/he's in with her(Krew). I'd say she/he's pretty popular, but often isn't recognized due to her/his lack of consistant uploading (which is reasonable). What I like about jespercesper; Her animations+art look a bit realistic but also stylized at the same time, it's a little more leaning on being realistic rather than cutesy which is honestly refreshing since most of the artists I like on any social platform have more cute anime-ish drawings. 5. Smill3yy - an underrated artist that i've recently subscribed to (I wish she gets more attention, her art is amazing!!). What I like about Smill3yy; (This isn't really included but her voice is/sounds so pretty, and just in general) The details and strands of light colors in the hair of characters she draws are so vivid(?) and adds a lot of flavor in her art, I find it very unique in it's own way. Her drawing/doing bodies look dynamic and the poses don't look stiff.
omg smiley i never see people mentioning her she's literally so underrated 😭😭 she's inspo for so much of my art and she has SOSOSOS much talent !! really hope she gets more attention :3
@wispravine I just remembered that I liked the art in the thumbnail and decided to click on the video. Now I love your videos, and I am waiting for more😔✌️
heres mine 1. Akira Akatsuki 2. Eiichiro Oda 3. Atsushi Ohkubo 4. Yuu Kamiya 5. Kiyotaka Haimura (heres a 6th one Ben Bocquelet, he's art i copied when i was young which made me start art)
I think It’s hilarious, I’m the Pinterest for my friends, I usually notice a hint of my artsyle being copied or referenced into theirs, like how I draw eyes or how I draw hair. And it always makes me happy that my friends like my art so much they try my style for themselves, even if they aren’t on the same level as me.
1. Hanacue: the wispy and whimsical hair, and the detailed eyes 2. Dimlight: the soft lines and pastel colors 3. Aildro: the detail and saturation 4. Pikat: the anatomy 5. Matcha: the painterly vibe, the detail in shading and highlights (Out of order)
In a way my style is either jagged lines but with random colors or slowly becoming. I like where I am yet I know I can grow, so I use what I like and just go with it and at times I use what I drew last for reference :) Art is how I feel drawing every day and what I can do in a day, and even try to get over my own art dysphoria (if that even is a word) I only have around top 5 artist 1. ml2key - I really love their anatomy and the extra lines and the moments they look pristine 2. Urano000 - Their colors, Devil, and the crazy cool poses they have at times 3. Zepn1 - The feeling of jello is what I see, which is weird but I love how it looks go gummy yet so fun 4. B_is_Sketchy - I love her sense of style and how it feels like pink perfume and strawberry scented art (idk how to describe it but it feels like cartoons and living images) 5. vc_hydro - This is technically my style until I put on lines and shading, but it’s a style I deeply enjoy for the lines and the anatomy work 6. Kei Urana and Hirokoshi - I love their sense of emotion in each picture and frame, their characters are done well and I love the story
My top 6 favorite artists :3 1) Tatsuyuki Tanaka: most notably a key frame animator on Akira, did the image boards for Nadia: secret of blue water, and director of the short TOUJIN KIT featured in the collection Genius Party Beyond. He may or may not remain to be my favorite artist of all time due to the emotional connection that I have to his work, I used to copy down his drawings in my sketchbook while bored at school, and the game Linda Cube Again, which he did the character designs for, may or may not be my favorite JRPG ever. 2) Kazuma Kaneko: The (former) art director and character designer for the Shin Megami Tensei series, in large part responsible for the aesthetics the series is known for today. 3) Plastiboo. MY GOD THE CRUNCH THE GRIT!!!@ The way that he paints and utilizes half tones, the dark color schemes in many of his art works, and MY GOD THE WAY THAT HE DRAWS FACES!!! Gives such an uncanny vibe that only adds to the atmosphere in his work that much more. He has a youtube channel too. 4) Oratoreye: MY GOD do I love their ocs and character designs. Their work is eye catching and full of life, I'm genuinely so invested in the world they have built around their characters, it's so funky and full of culture, and they're also responsible for my favorite webtoon of all time (though canceled, ) Mritunjoy's Tragicomedy. They also have a youtube channel with animations! 5) Antonm on newgrounds, Antonmng on instagram. Even though I'm a mainly traditional artist, he's one of the two artists on this list that mostly use traditional mediums. (Tatsuyuki Tanaka is the other one) His work is full of grit and I love the way that he does lineart specifically. 6) The Eternal Ruins, here on youtube: The actual artist behind this project is Sam Carr, but the Eternal Ruins is what I know of the work he's done. The pieces of the world that he's built that he shares in his videos are genuinely so intruiging and I've watched all of them at least 5 times through. The style he uses is cute, but atmospheric. It was hard to rank these lol. They're all amazing.
It's certainly possible to not have a style, as it doesn't stop you from drawing. For example, Wolfgang Beltracchi never had a style and he still painted a lot, despite only ever copying others.
I want to have a semi realistic art style and only time I make good art is either I am super focused or after a seizure (art therapy is my healer) so I end up making good shit
Guweiz - Art Artgerm - mix of westeen n eastern style choices Heo Sungmoo - B&W art TB Choi - anatomy Rinotuna - character design, specifically his ability to make anything into characters I guess for me the plan is to do style studies and then see what i default to afterward, because Guweiz is my favourite artist and as much as i would love to be able to have that art style, i would also love to draw like Artgerm or Pikamizo which are also different to Murata and Tite Kubo. Or maybe ill have an art style for illustration and a different one for manga style drawing/sketches
I have one that's very recognizable to me and my friends, but it can be very inconsistent despite how hard I try to fix it. I could draw my OC twice, and they'll probably look very different
this has actually been really helpful in finding some sort of structure and actual tangible steps towards finding a style I actually want, since I'd been so overwhelmed in trying to "decide" on an art style yet it never occurred to me somehow that I could just reflect after a while and see if the style I have is one I want to continue having, and if not, where do I want to go next with my style? thank you so much some artists ive been looking at 1. Gege Akutami 2. Kamome Shirahama 3. Yamada_Souko 4. Joeyccoco 5. Yu_TYCG
I used to be so pressed about why my artwork doesn't garner more attention, and I was also comparing myself to well-off artists, often forgetting they had more time to. My style is reminiscent of the days when i only drew stickfigures (and im not eager to give it up, so it has evolved a lot), resulting in a super detailed stickfigure. Some used to say it looked uncanny, some said the 'philosophy' of it wasn't really ringing well with them, whatever those people meant it hardened my resolve even more. For the next segment, Artists I like (TW Warning, the artists I'll list all dabble in r18 content so be careful when looking them up): The artists I've looked up to and used to stare at their art a lot, usually are in the cartoony category. I have managed to pidgeonhole myself into the cartoony box because, i can't do realism at all haha. I don't have a super clear vision so i keep a vague grasp onto the artists i've known over the years of snooping around so I dont get too fixated on it. Kamicheetah :- chara design and bright colours. the cutesy proportions too that aren't all too realistic. Bonifasko :- the rendering style thats very painterly and rich in character design Meesh :- this artist can go from cel shade, to realistic rendering and the switch between the two is really inspiring
My favorite artist are Alma Luna, vilapollo, ToastedVoi, sqpve, Nell Dino, Marikyuun, Luxi Art, Liviart, and my favorites out of my favorite artist, parako, Boone, and nardan
It would be very helpful, if not the fact that I as a person am not consistent at all. How to combine eyestrain art with cosy grandma vibes and a bit of gore??
Ack heres my artist list (EDIT: I MIGHTVE ACCIDENTLY FORGOTTEN THAT THE LIST WAS SUPPOSED TO BE 5 ARTISTS,, WOPPS) 1) HOUS3 - A semi popular artist on yt that mainly posts her animations Where do I even start, her insane animation skills is definitely my main driving point. I’m in love with her simple character designs and just the way she can easily animate anything and keep her style so vivid. If you want to check out her art a good starting point is ‘Dude demo showcase’ real insane stuff right there. 2) Bluebiscuits - a popular artist on youtube where she shows her art process Blue is the main inspo for my artstyle right now, I can’t say I actually played attention to what she was saying but her speedpaints says it all. The way they paints on her colors and lighting is truly a spectacle and her compositions don’t fall flat either. I love how they draws eyes and hair. 3) Neyritrix - A popular youtuber most known for her redesigning summited ocs series Her Artstyle, her story telling, her ability to make everything she touches look badass. The way she lights stuff is so inspiring because it looks so simple yet so stunning. And Ney isnt afraid to lean into the more gorey side which I love her for that, and her pets. 4) Zemyata - A youtuber who stopped being active until a few months ago and who was an inspo for years now. I don’t really know what else to say otherwise I’d be repeating myself, They has a somewhat simplistic style but their main drawing point are how amazing their compositions are. In animation having almost every scene be an amazing composition is almost an impossible feat but they pulls it off so nicely. The lighting is wonderful and she always knows how to tell a story even though there are no words. 5) Mogry 331 - Also known as Mogs, mostly known for their ‘The Mind Electric’ animatic and the writer for Mia’s wirld who is also on Diviant art and tumblr. Im gunna get really lazy with these desc since we’re lower on the list lol. I LOVE love how Mogs paints their art, every panel on their comic shows just how dedicated they are to their craft, shes wonderful at painting, lighting, and colors. Shes does all her animations on flipaclip which is so jaw dropping. Mogs sadly isnt active anymore, i miss her. 6) Sir-fluff - PEAK ANIMATOR RIGHT HERE, popular youtuber n stuff Okay youtube is starting to lag omg, very simplistic style, great flipaclip animator and peak character designs her art is yum yum 7) cuptoast - popular youtube artist yada yada She has such a vastly different artstyle than sirfluffs yet the same exact compliments. Uhhh flipaclip users are scary 8) Half fish -slightly obscure artist who is only now gaining attention. LOOK AT THEIR CHANNEL THE ANIMATION IS SO GOOD. The colors the designs everything 9) Bunnycat - semi popular animator Very cute lineless artsyle n yeah
with full blown aphantasia i could literally draw the same character 3 times in a day and they'll all look different xD You can def tell they're drawn by the same person now that I'm a much more developed artist compared to when i was a teenager, but having an inconsistent style is just how it works out for some of us. I have range at least even if not always intentional haha.
Your explaination of Style is similar to late 18th and 19th century german theories of perception and understanding of the world (Kant, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche) which basically all boil down to "You do not see the real world and you do not interact with the real world. You only see and interact with your opinion of the world and you can never substract your opinion of a thing from the thing you think about. Thus, you can never see the real world truely objectively because you will always have an opinion and this means how you see the world is uniquely yours."
1. splendidland 2. yoshihiro togashi (especially on HxH volume 34 cover) 3. mamoru oshii (especially on patlabor 2 and angel's egg) how do i only have 3 😨
rinotuna ,aidarlo, akiyamaenma, takeashi obata, yuto sano, project ck, vivinos, musedash, pyanyasha, ichisaku. i think these are my favs check them out!!
Thank you so much l liked and subscriberd to yur channel because you really help me not to give up because l always crash out when l ever my drawings aren't accurate or dont look nice l am a young traditional artist❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awee yes keep going!!! I believe in you!! ^^ You are not alone in the struggle, I promise you that. I still get super frustrated with my art from time to time! Remember the value you have to offer this world and keep pushing. Future you will thank you, and so will everyone that loves and WILL love your art!!💕💕💕
5/10of my favourite artists pertaining to their style.. now that i think about it my portfolio isnt all that big... -asaide from lewd examples i need not share- vivziepop (vaugly). Toby fox, despite his personal reservations that he doesnt considor himself a drawer. pixelart, not drawing nonetheless, a suprisingly expressive size ratio. Beserk i guarantee if i where to ever get into it, it seems to almost have mastery over eratic linework like how i draw in a surge of frustration. that suprisingly ends up looking cool ill post hw ta i have now and get around to expanding it another time, nothin else has come to me
Where the heck am i gonna find 5 artists?! the ones I follow I either follow because they dole out advice or the subjects they draw cater to my fetishes... I wouldn't actually want to draw like any of them
I’m glad you enjoyed :3 my next two videos are part one and two of an eye tutorial, but I can add that to the list! what about ai tho? xD a rant? or like… something informative?
@@wispravine I honestly want to hear your take on it (you left a really good impression on me after uh binge watching your other videos🤣) now I'm not telling you to make a rant but....🤣
I've wanted to be an artist since I was a young boy. Unfortunately I didn't have the right upbringing to get kickstarted on that journey. There's also (and I know I'll get flack for saying this) the fact that the hobby is mostly dominated by women.
Like the person above me said, I can not see how that would affect your want to be an artist. You can also start now. After drawing only stickmen comics as a kid, I picked up art 2 or so years ago and only started drawing frequently 6 months ago
1. Check to see if there are any watermarks/signatures within the image, if there are you can simply search them. Their social media links often come up. 2. Sometimes the source is linked in the pin itself (press the “read it” button) 3. If credit is not otherwise given/listed in the comments, you can save the art and reverse image search it through google. In the google app, there should be a camera icon on the far right side of the search bar. Press that, select the art you want to find the source of, select “find image source” (or “see exact matches”) under the first result. There should be a few different results with different links attached to them. This works 99% of the time for me. If you still can’t find the source, it’s likely the original post was deleted by the artist themselves. 🤍
not hating but i think you should try improving on anatomy and light rather then rendering! alot of the shines on the character do not make much sense and the facial anatomy does not make much sense either, again im not hating i love how your artstyle looks like jelly :)
a style is a way of drawing something. if you are inexperience and are just guessing with no actual consistency or understanding, then it would be a stretch to call that a style.
I’m here EARLY? Love you!❤ pin? 😊

Where do I even start, her insane animation skills is definitely my main driving point. I’m in love with her simple character designs and just the way she can easily animate anything and keep her style so vivid. If you want to check out her art a good starting point is ‘Dude demo showcase’ real insane stuff right there.
2) Bluebiscuits - a popular artist on youtube where she shows her art process
Blue is the main inspo for my artstyle right now, I can’t say I actually played attention to what she was saying but her speedpaints says it all. The way they paints on her colors and lighting is truly a spectacle and her compositions don’t fall flat either. I love how they draws eyes and hair.
3) Neyritrix - A popular youtuber most known for her redesigning summited ocs series
Her Artstyle, her story telling, her ability to make everything she touches look badass.
6) Sir-fluff - PEAK ANIMATOR RIGHT HERE, popular youtuber n stuff
Okay youtube is starting to lag omg, very simplistic style, great flipaclip animator and peak character designs her art is yum yum
7) cuptoast - popular youtube artist yada yada
She has such a vastly different artstyle than sirfluffs yet the same exact compliments. Uhhh flipaclip users are scary
8) Half fish -slightly obscure artist who is only now gaining attention.
LOOK AT THEIR CHANNEL THE ANIMATION IS SO GOOD. The colors the designs everything
9) Bunnycat - semi popular animator
Very cute lineless artsyle n yeah
with full blown aphantasia i could literally draw the same character 3 times in a day and they'll all look different xD
You can def tell they're drawn by the same person now that I'm a much more developed artist compared to when i was a teenager, but having an inconsistent style is just how it works out for some of us. I have range at least even if not always intentional haha.
6:13 Anyone talking about Shinobu and Mitsuri?
Mine are:
Qtonagi
MikaPikazo
Bluebiscuits
Redum
Macucu
Hopefully i can find my art style soon, because everytime i draw a character, they don't look the same 😂
HOMURA AKEMI MENTIONED
HAHAHAH
@@wispravine OHH HI i like ur art
@dia_suniii haii ^^ thank u sm!!! 💞💞💞
Your explaination of Style is similar to late 18th and 19th century german theories of perception and understanding of the world (Kant, Schopenhauer, Nietzsche) which basically all boil down to
"You do not see the real world and you do not interact with the real world. You only see and interact with your opinion of the world and you can never substract your opinion of a thing from the thing you think about. Thus, you can never see the real world truely objectively because you will always have an opinion and this means how you see the world is uniquely yours."
1. splendidland
2. yoshihiro togashi (especially on HxH volume 34 cover)
3. mamoru oshii (especially on patlabor 2 and angel's egg)
how do i only have 3 😨
I have a style I actually really like, my biggest problem tho but I don’t know how to make it more expressive and flow better lol, it’s very stiff
The majority of my pinterest feed is MCR memes (helllpp)
I have an artstyle but im still watching 😔
I just paint in my own version of sargents method 🥵
this is too big brain for me.... I just draw.
rinotuna ,aidarlo, akiyamaenma, takeashi obata, yuto sano, project ck, vivinos, musedash, pyanyasha, ichisaku.
i think these are my favs check them out!!
My style changes everytime I draw
I have no artstyle, YET.
i like to do the activity of draw
But what if I legitimately don’t have an actual art style and it’s not because it’s unrefined
5/10of my favourite artists pertaining to their style.. now that i think about it my portfolio isnt all that big... -asaide from lewd examples i need not share-
vivziepop (vaugly).
Toby fox, despite his personal reservations that he doesnt considor himself a drawer. pixelart, not drawing nonetheless, a suprisingly expressive size ratio.
Beserk i guarantee if i where to ever get into it, it seems to almost have mastery over eratic linework like how i draw in a surge of frustration. that suprisingly ends up looking cool
ill post hw ta i have now and get around to expanding it another time, nothin else has come to me
Where the heck am i gonna find 5 artists?! the ones I follow I either follow because they dole out advice or the subjects they draw cater to my fetishes... I wouldn't actually want to draw like any of them
Hoooommmmuurrraaaa
Everyone thinks other people haven’t accents so British or Australian people might think amaricans have a accent and vice versa
The reason why my art is extremely inconsistent is probably because I have BPD and bipolar disorder then LMAO
Hi love the video❤(i beg you to talk about Ai next please😭)
I’m glad you enjoyed :3
my next two videos are part one and two of an eye tutorial, but I can add that to the list! what about ai tho? xD a rant? or like… something informative?
@@wispravine I honestly want to hear your take on it (you left a really good impression on me after uh binge watching your other videos🤣) now I'm not telling you to make a rant but....🤣
@yurimessano9491 HAHA aweee! I’m glad ^^ I’ll def destroy ai on my channel one day 🤍 I have a lot to say lol
My style what I like... So when do we stop liking current event trends?
🏀🫄gad damn
ARE YOU HERE FROM MY BROADCAST CHANNEL IS IT YOU ARE YOU THE ONE REACTING TO MY MESSAGES WITH BASKETBALLS/lh
Holy peak
I've wanted to be an artist since I was a young boy. Unfortunately I didn't have the right upbringing to get kickstarted on that journey. There's also (and I know I'll get flack for saying this) the fact that the hobby is mostly dominated by women.
I don't see why the art scene being dominated by women in the recent years being a factor in not pursuing art
Like the person above me said, I can not see how that would affect your want to be an artist. You can also start now. After drawing only stickmen comics as a kid, I picked up art 2 or so years ago and only started drawing frequently 6 months ago
how do I find the original artists if pinterest images... 💀
1. Check to see if there are any watermarks/signatures within the image, if there are you can simply search them. Their social media links often come up.
2. Sometimes the source is linked in the pin itself (press the “read it” button)
@@wispravine oh thanks, i wasn't expecting you to reply
hi
heyyy!!
try sarmale
Americans don’t have accents. I have no accent. 👀☺️
not hating but i think you should try improving on anatomy and light rather then rendering! alot of the shines on the character do not make much sense and the facial anatomy does not make much sense either, again im not hating i love how your artstyle looks like jelly :)
totally off topic but you kind of sound like Chloe from we bare bears
ok im kind of stupid can you dumb it down a little 😅..
a style is a way of drawing something.
if you are inexperience and are just guessing with no actual consistency or understanding,
then it would be a stretch to call that a style.
