If your attention span only lasts for an hour or two then cad isn’t for you lol. You will spend hundreds to thousands of hours on this program to actually figure it out and get good at it.
when I try to fillet the rectangle @5:21 it won't work. Keeps saying "no lines can be filleted" when I hover over it. Also when I try to do it manually I can only do 2 corners. Why could this be happening?
Sir your tutorial is very helpful. I suggest you if possible please make such tutorial on mechanical drawing by uses of mechanical commands such as AMSHAFT2D etc. Thanks
Unit in Autocad in inches when i change it to mm it is not fixed all the time when i open new sheet in autocad . How to make it fixed in mm in all new sheets ?
Hi, thanks a ton for this video, you have solved a problem I have been struggling with for sometime now. I have one question, when I add line-weight to the drawing the line-weight of the dimension line also changes. How do I prevent that from happening? Also, how can I assign different line-weights to different sections of the drawing.
Click manage on ribbon and go to dimension style select the modify option and there’s an option to change the line weight of your dimension leaders.. also to change the weight on different lines you want select them then right click scroll down to properties and left click then there will be an option under line weight tab to choose whichever you like for those lines you have selected in the drawing… nobody taught me that or all the other things I’ve learned so far.. that’s the thing about cad.. it has enormous amount of drawing styles, tools , formats.. etc. you really have to be willing to invest a lot of time to figure it out and even after that you will see a professional architect wiz through it in a video like they’re the ones who created it . Takes years and years and years to figure out the program to the point of harnessing it to its full capabilities. I love cad though best thing that’s ever happened to me.. just gotta keep at it and keep at it and keep at it. Best of luck and hope that was helpful.

in the new version of autocad 2025 it i cannot use the fillet it is showing me the error of cannot fillet between these two lines

hello, move your cursor to the line and scroll up your mouse.
All the center and dotted line should be made by colour no.8.
dimension of object to be drawn is different.
