Thank you for sharing the hand sewing version of this. You just never know when you will be traveling and need to make an emergency alteration for yourself or someone else. Always travel with a small sewing kit.
I carried an emergency sewing kit for years. Recently I was on a trip and didn't bring it and I needed it! I am putting together an updated one before the next trip. Better to be prepared! 🪡
Thanks so much for doing that. It’s something I wanted to know and felt it was out of my scope. You’ve shown how it is not as complicated as I thought.
I have the same exact issue with rtw pants. My shape is similar to yours, so it really helped me to understand how to fix the gap in the back. Before, I just took in a couple of spots in the waistband. Now I know, so thank you for this video!😊 I am looking forward to when you can make a video showing the waist band removal and alteration.
Glad it helped! It seems like taking in the side seam would be the answer but it often makes the pants pull in the front. It really comes down to the individual figure. Thanks for tuning in!
Great question! It depends on your shape. It is the length from your waist to your rear/hip fullness. Usually, you can tell by putting on the pants and pinching in the waist and seeing where the extra fabric disappears.

Yes! This is always my issue with RTW pants! 😣 Thanks! You could even use a spring clothespin if you had one.
A clothes pin! Good suggestion. I was trying to think of things a non-sewist might have around.
Great video can’t wait for the next one. Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤❤
Thank you!
Thanks. Good information
