    Awesome, thanks for sharing! Thinking like a leather outer gauntlet with drawstring layer would be perfect for shoveling and outdoors chores where fingers aren't so much required for tasks where I guess can sew a trigger finger into one also if required. Never thought about the faux fur lining and I do like the shearling and sherpa more straighter pill like I think that's called. Makes me think a polyfleece hoody with the faux fur inner lining would be awesome too more for indoors use.

    I always do a few stitches at the inner top of the mittens to secure them. Wouldn't want the lining to come out with my hand.

    These look so warm and cozy but do you have a pattern to make them convertible mitts? I never wear regular mittens because I don't like that I can't use my fingers at all!!

    I can't download the pattern. It says subscribe to get the pattern. I'm already a subscriber.

    I wonder if it would work with Rex fur..

    What do you do with the hole left from stitching above abs below the thumb? Did I do something wrong?

      Hm.. I am not sure. I am going to give you think link to our written tutorial - www.onlinefabricstore.net/makersmill/how-to-make-fleece-mittens-with-faux-fur/
      Hopefully a different instruction method will help you figure out what step you are missing. Please let me know if you have any other questions here, I would be happy to help!

    I'm new at sewing, How do you do it for left and right hand? Do you just flip pattern pieces?

    • @onlinefabricstore
      @onlinefabricstore  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Arlene, That's right, just flip the pattern pieces over for the opposite hand.

    How much material do you need per pair?

    The background music is really annoying, though, especially since it's such a short loop. It makes it hard to concentrate on the instructions.
