About Pathaan (Wiki):
Pathaan (pronounced [pəʈʰaːn]) is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Siddharth Anand and written by Shridhar Raghavan and Abbas Tyrewala, from a story by Anand. The fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, it stars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana. In the film, Pathaan (Khan), an exiled RAW agent, works with ISI agent Rubina Mohsin (Padukone) to take down Jim (Abraham), a former RAW agent planning to spread a deadly lab-generated virus across India.
Produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films,[5] Pathaan began principal photography in November 2020 in Mumbai. The film was shot over various locations in India, Afghanistan, Spain, UAE, Turkey, Russia, Italy and France. Two songs were composed by the duo Vishal-Shekhar, while Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara provided the score. The film was made on an estimated production budget of ₹225 crore (US$28 million) with a further ₹15 crore (US$1.9 million) spent on print and advertising.[3] Against the norm, pre-release publicity was limited with no media interaction or public events.
Pathaan was theatrically released in India on 25 January 2023, coinciding with the Republic Day weekend, and received generally positive reviews from critics and audiences, who praised its action sequences, music and cast performances.[6][7] The film has grossed ₹1,050.3 crore (US$130 million)[8] worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of 2023, the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time, the fifth-highest-grossing Indian film of all time and set several other box-office records in India and for a Hindi-language film.[9][10][11][12]

I know that Pathaan is not a greact movie but will always have an special place in my heart. After so many years an indian movie realised in my country and after 4 years an SRK movie, it was so beautifull to see and hear the reaction of all the fans in thetares

I love Ek tha tiger more than any of the films in this spy universe. First thing it feels grounded and real. Nothing like Tiger Zinda Hai, one man killing all those terrorists... Nothing like unnecessary plot twists in War...and nothing like Pathaan, forgetting the story and only focusing on the SRK sir.... I genuinely feel that Kabir Khan has a lot more to offer. Look at his filmography 83, Bajarangi Bhaijaan, Forgotten Army all these projects are really well crafted and beautiful.

Dhruv see I wanted to like it too… cause I only recently saw it again. The problem for me was that it was a love story. And I get it. Kabir Khan didn’t know back then, this would turn out to be a franchise, so he made it keeping the romance it’s focal narrative point, but now watching all films in hindsight, ETT doesn’t belong I think… but one thing I’m still glad it does is that it establishes the characters of Tiger and Zoya without the baggage of becoming a spectacle like Pathaan has on its shoulders.

For a movie that shot indoors during covid its major portions, Pathaan looked surprisingly good. About the VFX I don't know what happened. I heard that they got really short time for completing the work. Also, the color grading done made some effects look less impressive.
Yes I did not like the grading in that Salman Khan scene more than I didn’t like the vfx

2 pathan a good villian puts it above war
