Is there no solution to protect the motor from moisture? Zinc oxide for example. Does any scooter have rust/moisture protected engines or are they all due to be reconditioned like this in time? We have rovers on Mars and satellites photographing Pluto and moisture protection isn't possible. I hate complaining but it's impossible not to. Please can we get an answer Michael?
I'd like to know as well, but likely waterproofing the exterior with silicone or something similar is the best route. I'm going to figure it out one way or another because I want to ride in the rain, I hope you do as well!
just coat the motors with a protection spraypaint specially designed for motors and transformers. this will protect the rotor and stator magnets.
