    The concept of this show is blowing my mind with how, whether intentional or not, it keeps proving even under the exact same circumstances people without proper support or supplies will do worse, and that it really is luck of the draw where people start but then just sort of turns into 'so to be the best of the best you have to do it all amazingly no matter what.'

      @MimiMangetsu 2 ปีที่แล้ว +142

      yes she could have an anxiety disorder or autism etc.. Adult women with autism usually go undiagnosed and their meltdowns are just treated as panic attacks or just general "hysteria" because of crying. She obviously has some troubles so it would be great if she got pro help.

    • @catpoke9557
      @catpoke9557 2 ปีที่แล้ว +87

      @@MimiMangetsu Agreed. I would think she's just nervous because she's on TV and in a stressful competition, but the "Always nervous" part is making me think it's not limited to this show. Reminds me of what I used to say. It's a pretty common thing for people with undiagnosed anxiety to say something that resonates with someone who has it diagnosed. I feel like everyone with anxiety has that experience... saying "Oh yeah, I'm always anxious. It's no big deal." while being unaware the person you're talking to finds it eerily relatable... and they pull out the "Sounds like anxiety. I have that."
      Then it's a spiral upward (or downward, depending how you feel about it) into self-discovery from there.

      I already had my suspicions, but that solidified it as a real possibility. Yes, indeed, I do have anxiety. I eventually got diagnosed.
      As for ADHD, I have that too, but I actually just realized that because I remembered my mom saying it causes attention problems. The best most wholesome cooking show I've seen was a swedish show. Don't remember what it was called but it was on like half a year ago or something?
    Families competing against other families. Only that.... they all support each other (the people in the the families AND the ones they compete against) lots of crying and hugging and tasting each others foods. Judges crying bc they don't wanna split the friendly families up ect. It was just so fucking wholesome. Like. The drama wasn't that someone was sabotaging, the only "drama" was that they didn't want anyone to loose. And sometimes cooking goes wrong. They didn't need any made up villains.
    I was thinking the whole time "this would never be done in american tv " XD

    Just found ur channel and I’m so glad I did this video was amazing !! And I totally agree about not wanting drama or horror. Like when someone recommends the new police/investigating/mystery/horror that’s on the tv I’m like nah man honestly I don’t need any extra stress !!! Gimme that sweet sweet crappy reality tv or sitcom please

    Was anyone else yelling at the TV when they saw Gordon Ramsay try putting out a grease fire by pouring water on it? Like the other two judge/coach/chefs had to put out fires too, but they used baking soda or covered the pan to suffocate the fire. Gordon straight up does the one thing you are not supposed to do with a grease fire and is saved by the fact that he tossed it in a giant wash basin (that still had flames jumping over the top when the water hit the pan)

    Oh I see. It's like a play on words. It's both like they're not a "master". They're next level which also means something similar to master. But then it's also literal because there are multiple levels. This show has to be amazing given how much thought went into the title.

    Tricia was also one of my favorites. I hated Reuel, though. He was playing an individual game WAY too early and to his detriment 💀
    Edit: Also, completely forgot until now that Richard Blaise kept calling his team “Team Trail Blaisers” and I hated it 😂 the show was great. That just got under my skin

    Has anybody seen the spanish thriller The Platform? It's on Netflix and I feel like Gordon kinda ripped it off. It's about a prison where the food starts at the top floor and passes through each of the like 300 floors so people at the bottom end up with scraps and I wont spoil the rest ;)

    This is actually a concept that came from a Spanish movie called The Platform where prisoners where given the most exquisite food and the ones on top got to pick and eat their food first while the lower ones got the scraps and the even lower ones had to go hungry and starve. It was meant to be a commentary on social classes and how the ones on top the 1% have all the power while those below them are helpless to the meager remains they can get. (Not saying it’s connected just kinda wild a network took that concept and twisted its meaning into it being ‘a real chef can succeed anywhere’ when those in the better kitchen were equipped with the better tools and circumstance to make better food) you shouldn’t have to struggle to make ur journey worthwhile🤷🏻‍♀️ still great video tho! Just thought the concept was rlly similar and the movies great you should give it a watch! Gets kinda dark tho💀
