Chris, any chance for an update / follow up on the deep pond that you dug behind the barn with an island in the middle, would like to know if it's filled, how the berm is holding out, any washouts and if grass is growing on it.

I'm glad you have the main power line in for the cabin, though.
Back down to the New Bern area. The 350 packing brush puts a suspension test on Barney. Activate the lockers and 6 wheel drive Barney won`t get stuck. I only got less that 6 inches of rain from Hurricane Debby, never would have thought N.C. would be a 'rain forest'.
My parents live in Florida…they built their house on stilts for two reasons termites and storm surges…every door and windows all have hurricane shutters…the roof is tied to piers under the house..the area they park their vehicle is 5 higher then ground level… If you are use to the local weather you can prepare….

You know it’s funny how smooth he is on that machine. He shows that you don’t have to pull those leavers all the way every time and then just let it go exactly where u want to dump your bucket. I watch digginglife 21 and he has his head bobbin all day long throwing his body all around. If he would just slow down a bit it would be so much better on him and the machine and the job. I ran a little crane (skyhook) we had 2 of them 1 was a older 85 foot sign crane with on or off switch’s if you pull it your crane is going one speed and u better get off of it ahead of your destination and the other one was a 115 foot he sign crane smooth as a . if you just barley pull it up just barley move and the more u pull it the faster u go.

Weight restrictions when being hauled from job to job which causes higher transportation fees cuz it then takes specialiazed trailers that not lot of truckers have.
@@darkrevenger04 makes sense now. Here in Aus, transport costs rely on the dimensions of the load rather than the weight. We can only go 2.5m wide before you need an oversized permit.
That would give the machine a Mad Max look to it that's for sure. Haha. I like George Miller's vision for the future. Btw, my trigonometry teacher had a map of the globe on her office wall turned upside down so that Australia would be above the rest of the countries.
@@micksmith2871 Yeah here in US 80K lbs grvw or gross vehicle weight is limit b4 oversized and anything less than 10 ft wide is allowed before oversize permit. After the grvw gets to 175K+ then it is called a superload or sometimes 200K+ to be superload. With superload it can require a pilot car in front and back plus x number of axles total depending on the state or province if in canada. When a permit is required then you have to follow a route given to you by the DoT or department of transportation. if you check out lucky banana heavy haul on YT you can get a better understanding.

We don’t worry about hurricane’s anywhere around the south. It’s just a money maker to us.
