Getting to DPS is nothing difficult, it mostly comes down to experience. The mechanics of Nezarec is on the simple side, you connect all nodes while keep an eye on his hatred and remember the proper refuge buff.
I'm not quite sure what could be used for DPS. Pure Fusion Grenade spam with Witherhoard can't do enough damage. While rockets could be used, but getting enough heavy ammo for the next phase may be a problem.
I don't do much of these raid challenge to know what is and isn't possible. I'll leave this to the raid experts. I may considering revisiting this encounter later down the season just because it's quite fun and the amazing aesthetic.

Loadout Swaps feature looks like it will become meta for Solo strats.
I never tried doing gaze more than once, but now after failing because nobody could properly do it, and seeing how easy it really was, I am more pissed than ever that my teammates simply couldn’t aim their gun.

It's not completely easy, nezarec only has one person to look at here whereas in a normal encounter the second no one has gaze he goes wandering off.
Nez in 6 man can be a bit inconsistent in where he faces, can sometimes make a shot a lot trickier depending on how he decides to act.
If you're just watching this guy do it, remember that this went almost perfectly for him, and he's an extremely good player, not indicative of the average experience in general I'd say.
Most of the time. The reason the gaze watcher can’t get gaze is from the flinch of the ads. Ads clearers need to be perfect

I've been noticing that sunbracers can be abit inconsistent because the scorch damage sometimes doesn't proc the sunbracers perk
The source of scorch damage has to be from the melee

It's really hit and miss, I really hope Bungie takes a look at it some time
Imagine has some good videos covering sunbracers; he shows off a tech that makes activation more consistent
You just use snap melee to fix this right now. It sucks but celestial scorch hasn't been fixed in many seasons

Proof of concept is here so it will be done. Someone is gonna solo this raid from start to finish.
Can't solo 3rd as it takes minimum 2 people to swap planets, that's why there's people that have duo'd the raid but not solo as it physically can't be done due to the mechanics
@@killerkarlo8954Third is able to be soloed. Once you deposit a planet at destination, you can pick up one from that side. Kill both lower colossus to grab IDs, grab the left dump in right grab right and dump left.
Probably don't have enough time to do all 4 in a single phase, but you get two phases at it, and the third spawn needs to be moving to DPS.
I tried this solo on titan for both planets and boss, they definitely feel kinda doable but it sucks that there is no active way to do that much damage for it to be soloable. If only titans didn't have their melee damage nerfed. Nice run BTW!
I won't recommend this a lot, but try to glitch him in the middle of the map on a well and do damage that way!
The add density is great for Wormgod Titan. Too bad that's gone.

Restoration x2 from Phoenix Dive. The buff only last a few seconds, but we can extend the timer with the Ember of Empyrean fragment.

Warlocks be like: starfire is the only good thing about Solar warlock.
Reality:
would it be possible to do this solo without the eager edge?
if so it might be worth hitting a x20 parasite shot then swapping to a starfire dps with a solar rocket. im thinking this due to how reserve mods were changed to elements instead of gun type. this paired with parasite only being used for one shot might leave you with enough rockets for dps, but at the same time you lose dps for swapping loadouts
Will need about 4mil damage per phase but apart from that fingers crossed the solo happens
Most someone's hit right now is about 2.9 mil, but you need at least 4 mil per dps phase to kill him. This fight is very possible

Grand overture maybe? You’ll lose out on time running but you might be able to get closer to the damage you need to hit once the enable it again
I agree that the sword is the hole in the loadout. If you can remove eager edge, and instead socket a DPS weapon, this looks better.
One of the best combos might be Merciless. You can mag-dump your entire reserves in about 11 seconds, and Nez is a 30 second damage window.
@@Arcana-Check Merciless actually might be a good option, I am also very curious on how the new exotic shotgun would do paired with a cascade GL.

Absolutely felt that pain in this raid. I have Eagered onto some enemies that were not on my screen/near me what so ever.

RON is just a dungeon not a raid. The whole mechanic of networking light and dark nodes was clearly designed to be completed with 1-3 people. Only 3rd encounter, which is certainly pulled from another raid, has engaging mechanics.
Apparently this raid was supposed to be a dungeon but bcos “og” lightfall got canceled they turned the dungeon into a raid with planets encounter being pulled from the “og” lightfall raid.
You sure it wasn't "supposed" to be a strike?

@@emperiorlnc442 i didn't play the d1 raids so idk. But what I do know is that those raids didn't get solo'ed week 1 and that they were also from a different era so obv they were easier.

I mean, eager edge is fine it its own way, creating more opportunities for new ways of skipping or sliding and speed runs to anywhere.
At this point he proved only that it is possible to Solo Nezarec, mechanically wise.
But he needs eager edge to be that fast, surely he misses the Dmg output on DPS phase.
For me, I don't even have that sword but I can tell for everyone, if ya have it, it's a sweet touch to do things in other ways, than it should be, fairly.
To optimize the theory:
The same with Titan, but with Void and Bubble, and 1-2 punch build clear some adds, get the buffs and than 1- or 2shot the boss to the last stand.
Should be possible, or way easier with Titan than with warlock.
For me, I'll cry as Hunter in the corner till we get a exotic which allows us to deal that kind of Dmg as well..
