    2:07 - TIP 1 - know your points
    3:08 - TIP 2 - know your transitions
    4:40 - TIP 3 - know how to land the plane
    5:45 - the wrap up

    I appreciated his "POINTS" as a SS teacher this is very practical and your class / church will always be most attentive to someone that knows the lesson.

    Yes, yes and YES! 👏🏼 These are so good. If I were to add a tip and keep with the "know" format, it would be to know your strengths. So important to find the preaching style that works for you and not try to imitate others.

    Love this! very helpful and practical tips that I have definitely learned the hard way!
    Something else that has really helped me in my study and prep time is to start with the end goal in mind. If I have a very clear place I want to get to I'm much less likely to get lost in hours upon hours of study. Narrow down you study time by having a clear goal to begin with.

      That is a great tip. Because when I start studying and chasing rabbits then I have so much I try to cram into the message. Thanks!

    Maybe we should have a video about how to dress for a sermon. People respond to you based on how you dress if you don’t dress seriously people don’t take you seriously

    • @ZachTomlinson72
      @ZachTomlinson72  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It is important to dress appropriately for the setting and the audience. Sometimes what we wear can be a distraction. I’ve found that when I keep the truth of the gospel the main thing, everything else matters less.

      @Tomlinson Road You are must welcome. It just showed up in my main feed. I watch a lot of content on Christian leadership, so I'm assuming it was the algorithm.
