The difference between confidence and narcissism is humility. Humility and confidence go hand in hand. One can not exist without the other.

Definitely makes sense since the master of Narcissism is Satan. And he has no humility as he wants to be God even though he knows he can't.

Exactly. That is what keeps me confident in knowing I am right. I take the time to humbly question what I am missing that I don’t know. I remind myself I only know what I did the work to master and everything else is the dunning Kruger effect. That keeps me balanced in what I know and knowing what I don’t so I can discern how to set boundaries in healthier ways.

omg! that reminds me of narcissistic ex asking me during our first days: "tell me, what is it like to be with somebody superior than you?" and I laughed so hard, because I was CONVINCED he would never mean it.... but turned out he did

The past few weeks i have been *stressing* over the decision of getting back with my ex. He was the love of my life until things went sideways, blah blah blah. I feel like I really needed to hear this

There is another love of your life waiting for you that won't stress you TF out. Can't wait for you to meet him one day.

Ever since I read that writing down your goals makes you 40% more likely to achieve them, I have written down my goals and resolutions since, I think you can achieve them without writing them down too but why not better the odds? That’s why I love resolutions and vision boards. Life really is what you make it!

What Anna said about second chance is SO TRUE. I'm the living proof. I gave my lying-but-not-so-horrible ex a second chance after he begged at my door saying that he would do anything in his power to change and cut off his ex. He's generally a decent man, except when it comes to his ex that he can not cut off. He would lie and lie to me over and over again about keeping contact with her, despite I broke up the first time because I don't like it. He can either choose to stay and cut her off his life, or be with her, no one is trying to stop him. Yet he decided to get both and lied to my face. I gave him so many chances and he never changes. TRUST ANNA, second chance is for when people are apart because of a specific situation, not for when it's who they are. People can change, but that should take many years.

I'm sorry you had to learn this the hard way, but I'm glad you learned it in the end, no matter how long it took.

People expose themselves eventually, so take your time when you’re in a relationship. If the person’s trying to rush you, they are likely hiding something.🚩

Of course the narcissist came crawling back.😂 If you really were the problem as he pretended you were, he wouldn’t have come back.

Hi Anna, I've been very worried lately cause I'm tuning 29 soon, and I don't know if my person does exist. I have tried a lot, and it seems there's not gentleman anymore. It's like people don't want to work for a relationship. Sex's so easy to get that It seems nothing matters. I've questioned myself cause I don't know if I asked for too much, but I'm getting tired to know a lot of narcissists. I'm even thinking that I'm the problem because I'm attracting those men.
I'm working on my career, I'm paying my bills, and I'm working on myself, but I love doesn't go well.

I always thought it was weird how my ex said everyone in NYC is an 'NPCs'. I didn't quite understand that statement, but it kind of coincides with your ex thinking he's the smartest in the room, where everyone else is beneath him.

Everything happens for you, not against you.
Sometimes we see all the ties later on but sometimes those connections are not discerned. But if you look at all the mess and blessings that have come your way over time, be it a short time or years later, you do see no matter what you became better after it.
