Ya man the caster wheels are a game changer after using both. It glides so smooth. The feature to get under the car is pretty cool if you're into cleaning your undercarriage 🤣
I bought a similar plastic one a couple of years ago, from a company that sounds like northernspool. It works, but doesn’t last long. It has maybe 15 hours of use on it. Sounds like a lot, maybe, but it’s not even a handful of uses for me. The hub is a brass bushing, and when it starts to leak, a lot of pressure, and cleaning power, is lost at the tips. Just bought an upper version of eveage, and it’s made so much better, with a sealed bearing at the hub, and replaceable washers. If you only need one or two uses, buy cheap, if want to use it more than a few times, buy a better unit. It seems anything above $75 should be good one.
Hi. Thanks for the video. I got a simpson pressure washer 3.5 GPM 4000 PSI with GX270. Which size of surface cleaner should I use (buy) 16, 18, 20 inch ? Thanks
I used a 3200 psi 2.5 gpm (gas Husqvarna) with the surface cleaner I used in the video. Battery powered is trash and will not give you the cleaning power. With what you have, i bet you could run any of those sizes with no problems at all. I am not a professional pressure washer guy but yours is a lot stronger than what I was using and I was melting the grime off the cement!
Question please. I just purchased this unit and I’ve noticed that the brush head barely makes any contact with the surface I’m cleaning. Does your units brush head make good contact with the surface? Is there a way to adjust the wheels so the brush makes contact? I have an older unit that has no wheels and the brush head works very well. The wheels on this unit allow one to move the surface cleaner effortlessly but without much brush feature doing anything. Thank you for your input!
If you don't mind my asking, what type of pressure washer did you use? I am looking to buy this but also don't know if a electric pressure washer would work on this. Any info you could give me would be a great help. Thank you.
Electric pressure washers are not efficient enough to apply the pressure you need for this tool in my opinion. I tried it out and it wasn't removing much. Inised a Husqvarna 3200 psi pressure washer. It is all you need for chores around the exterior of the home and works amazing with this surface cleaner. Make sure you get the surface cleaner with casters and not the one that sits flush with the ground.
@@TheNeighborDominator by chance, do I need to be above a certain GPM? Asking because most of what I can afford are around 2.5 GPM. What does yours have? Thank you so much for your help.
I can send you the link to the pressure washer I used that had the gun on it. I bought it at costco. The redesigned it a little. I hope this helps. The surface cleaner is amazing! www.costco.com/husqvarna-3200-psi-gas-powered-pressure-washer.product.4000239953.html
Are they any good with pressure washer with less than 4000 psi???? I’m guessing the pressure washer is what the difference? Why didn’t you disclose which one you used????
@GeneralRock114 i used an electric one and it didn't do very well. I used the homeowners pressure washer and didn't think about disclosing which one becuase I have never done a video like this. It was a gas 3100 psi Husqvarna from costco

i bought the metal one that is sold at lowes 4 years ago and used it on 20 driveways and 20 sidewalks and a few patios ... it works GREAT
Did it have the caster wheels? I love the caster wheels. Game changer
@@TheNeighborDominator YES !
I have the red one and it is a pain in the butt to use. I like what I am seeing with this one 👍🏻
The wheels make a world of difference. This was my first time using both. It's very satisfying!
This looks like a really nice unit!
Game changer. First time doing this and it was actually fun!
@@TheNeighborDominator now you have to clean it off in your shower 😂
ive got the red one, using it for about 10 years now.. its sun died almost white now. I love it... but this new one looks better

Nicely done. Looks like brand new concrete again.
Thanks! This project was so fun. First time using one of these

I saw a guy say a good rule of them is having 4in for every gpm, so maybe 16 or lower for best results

@johnpublic438 the brush doesnt really scrub the dirt the water pressure gets it off that I've noticed. My brush just skims so the wheels glide easy

Did you use any chemicals? If so which ones?
I did not use any chemicals in this video. Just good ole water!
What are the specs on the machine you use here?
Do you pretreat the concrete with a cleaning solution!
I did not in this video. I have heard of people doing that. This was just water and the eveage

Nope.
