I want to be able to give woman opinions while giving birth and to be able to give them freedom to listen to their bodies and deliver their baby the way they want to in a safe environment.

As a white woman who has worked on a postpartum floor doing nothing medical(taking newborn baby pic) I heard a lot and I would say most women do not feel attended to like they should be. I'm glad for the push to have someone who can advocate for you what ever race. I had a bad experience with my second birth that was very traumatic and I felt so ignored. I will never birth in a hospital again.
