    Interesting point about keeping it fresh with new music rather than "practicing" a given piece over and over, some thing which I'm guilty of.

    Good tips. I have problems with certain notes getting mixed up- then I nail them and two other notes go awry… do I perhaps have musical dyslexia? I’ve been learning for a year now…
    Please can you do a video on the geography of sheet music- it can be complicated to ‘read’ the shorthand of Codas and Signas.

      Lol, I had to google musical Dyslexia... seems the jury's still out on that one. I'll try to think of a way to record a video about musical roadmapping / shorthand. Thanks for watching!

      @@BoninBrighton Hm. Something like that would probably require specific testing to diagnose... I think about some of the issues I often have with playing, and I could see some of them falling under that umbrella, but I would want to get it checked out to see if that's the culprit.

      @@KMerrells I spent 40 years in education often working with various special learning needs and finding solutions and get arounds- so I’ve a tendency to analyse and diagnose ha ha
