Hi Tales, I find this video of yours very good and useful. I have a question for a short factual description, although according to my experience, after bending an object, 1000-2000 or more or less "overhang faces" warnings are generated, depending on the number of polygons of the mesh. My question would be, in this case, is it more expedient to ignore these "overhang faces" and rely on the support of the actual slicing application, or is there some kind of solution that does not significantly deviate from the original concept? Maybe you can also make a video about it or give your opinion in the description. Thanks.

Fine enough to import a ready made model and make a working printable stl, but if the desire is to create from scratch in Blender, action NUMBER ONE should be to change scale to 0.001
Then set the length measure to millimeters.

One thing I'd add to this is when you import the STL, just select all after you limited dissolve and merge vertices by distance to a reasonable number. I find extra non-manifold geometry all the time in downloaded files, plus STL tris aren't always clean. But great tips! Thank you very much!

Blender might not be the best option, but it’s certainly has the most attractive pricing model

Or you could simply set the Blender scale to 0.001 and measurements to millimeters.
The View option for objects will tell you the size of your object. And it will be the same size in the STL and therefore on the 3D printer.

To make this tutorial more useful, you need to explain a LITTLE more of what you're doing.
It's true that tutorials are not supposed to bog us down with information, but you're failing to give context in too many spots.
SOME idea of what Limited Dissolve is, and even one phrase about what the metric is that it uses (.1 what?) would help immensely. When people understand something, they remember it better later and learn new things about it better.
Similarly, "get that rotation" didn't involve telling us HOW you were rotating.
One of the biggest problems with tutorials, or teaching people in general, is when the teacher assumes knowledge the recipient doesn't actually have. That's the error, here.
You say if we want to learn more about Blender, to check out some series of yours, but you're not even seeding this with enough info to duplicate what you're doing by rote. I'm repeatedly left wondering how or why to do something.

Please do take a look at the 2 years of blender tutorials I have on my channel. I do feel that one of the largest issues new users think 3D modeling is a quick easy thing... the honest truth is that's its not really if you want to do it well and understandwhat your doing. This is why it's a profession to be a 3D modeler. But by all means all the info you clearly know I'm missing out on is in the over 30+ free education content on Maker Takes.

@@Keep-Making Yes, but this is presented not as a tutorial for someone who already knows 3D modeling, but one implicitly for people unfamiliar to it. Otherwise, they could infer most of it without watching the video.
As I said, you are leaving out BASIC steps that would take only seconds to explain.

If that's the most simplest ways of explaining blender, you should stop making videos. Some people just don't make good teachers.
