V’s voice is one of the most unique voices I have ever heard. The emotions that he is able to bring out is unreal. All of his songs are powerful.

Yes V's ^of saying words. His emphasis is just right and touching. There's much emotion and the right emotion tempered with a beautiful ending to the word. In Korean and Japanese it's so beautiful.
The guys in these dramas are his friends, Park Seo Joon also acted as a main lead in “Hwarang” along with Tae, V actually sang the OST with Jin “Is definitely you” for that drama 💜
Sweet Night is my favorite from V….when he sings “would it be alright If I pulled you closer” brings me to tears.

Christmas Tree was released during Christmas a year ago during this time, so it technically is a Christmas song lol.
Christmas Tree is an OST for a drama called Our Beloved Summer. Sweet Night is an OST for a drama called Itaewon Class. A lot of people assume he did these songs for his friends Park Seojoon (main actor in Itaewon Class) and Choi Wooshik (main actor in Our beloved Summer). Those two guys are some of his closest friends and he even visited the set when they were filming the dramas to show supports to his friends.
These are some of my favorite songs from him. The gentleness of them and subtlety of affection really stands out. He’s got an amazing voice for kdrama OST’s.
Edit about his friends: V is a part of a friend circle called the Wooga Squad. This consists of V, Park Seojoon, Choi Wooshik, Park Hyungsik, and Peakboy. They even had their own In the Soop: Friendcation (available on Disney+)

Yeah, the title and saying "Christmas trees for us" are literally the only reference to the holiday. But it does sound "seasonal" with the spareness of the sound. "Sweet Night" is one of my most favorite of V's songs - I saw the series and liked the song well before I knew he sang it.
Another thing about his song when he compose them, they always have an instrumental part (more the outro) and I LOVE that.

V has a very deep old soul tone. He has a very jazzey rnb style. He showcase a Very wide range too. From his high notes on Stigma to a very deep sombre tone in Singularity. He also has ALOT of unreleased, unfinished songs he would play for ARMY. If you just search Vs unreleased songs, you would be surprised and ever baffled HOW THIS ARTIST kept those song from us. (travel with me, 3 in the morning, the English version of Blue and Gray) unfortunately when Army asked V on weverse about his "Travel with me" song he played while he was vacationing recently in Hawaii, he said "I deleted all my old song"... I literally had a mental breakdown and was hoping he was just joking 😢... Please.. Even on ur off time, just try looking up his unreleased songs.. And I will be sure, you would be so amazed!!! Taehyung is an awesome song writer and lyricist. He may not be as deep as RM but he has this old soul that will easily find a way to ur heart ☺️
For me, V is so under appreciated for his vocal talent.. Can't blame them being hooked on his look 9f course.. I LOVE this song, and even though it isn’t actually a Christmas song it made it to number one on Spotify’s Christmas songs list. If you haven’t seen this K-drama, Our Beloved Summer, starring one of V’s close friends, Choi Wooshik, you should.
The second OST is from Itaewon class, which stars one of V’s other close friends, Park Seo Joon. It is a must-watch K-drama! Both of these dramas star the same female lead, Kim Da-mi.
I have had these two songs on my playlist since early this year, and I play them often, because I love V’s voice so much. He has a way of calming and soothing the soul with his music, and I hope he comes out with a solo album having much of the same beautiful music. 💜
You can react to Snow Flower, it's Christmas gift from him to army back in 2020. Snow Flower and Sweet Night are written and produced by him, while Christmas Tree isn't. But the writers of Christmas Tree has him in mind while working on it, that's why Christmas Tree fits him so much!

What I love about Vs writing is its textures. He is one w/ his senses so he writes so you can pick up on the subtleties and feel more. Brilliant romantic. Just when you thought you finished and he drops another for Christmas ... Can't be Christmas set out..there is a Bing Crosby.

I know you will love his song, Snow flower. It is so funny how each member has their own style, and none of the seven styles are the same. Yet as BTS they blend together in a completely different style.
John you have to watch this movie. This movie is so beautiful and I’ve been watching it over and over again. I bought this dvd just to hear V’s voice but I actually like the movie as well because Park Seo Joon is my favorite actor. His music is so heart felt and is of a genre that is specific to him. You can feel his emotions when he sings his songs. They open the door to his soul, it feels. Taehyung songs heal you, you will find comfort in them and his vocals, I will not lie but until this day I feel goosebumps everytime I listen to Sweet Night and Winter Bear, both songs mean a lot to me. Actually, everyone (myself included) at the time assumed it was Adora on Sweet Night, but it turned out to be a British singer, Matilda Mann. I think someone found the instagram story a couple of years ago.

I know you also contributed to V’s OST “Sweet Night”; what was your role there?
“Sweet Night” was a song where we played more of a behind-the-scenes role. The guys at the label had the song but didn’t tell us too much about it. They were just looking for some female vocals, so we sent three of our favorite singers over and they came back about one of them, a friend of ours, Matilda Mann. We then went into the studio with her, tracked her vocal along with what was already down, making sure it complimented it in every place but still weren’t sure what parts were being used. It was obvious by this point it was V’s voice as it is unmistakable, but we didn’t want to ask any questions, we just got it back over to the guys, and then a while later “Sweet Night” came out, and started breaking records left right and center. It felt really good to have been able to play a small role on that one, even though we didn’t do any writing this time, but BigHit is always very good at making sure everyone is credited for their work. But it is such a beautiful song, we had it on repeat for days and are so proud of both Taehyung and also Matilda.

Yes..we love his OSTs!…but Can you please react to Snow flower by V featuring his good friend Korean rapper Peakboy..it is a total jazz vibe…You will love it so much….V also did a cover of Adele’s song..Someone like you..M/V on bangtan tv..the Adele cover M/V has V in it…Vs version is so soulful …For BTS.. V has had to keep up with the tenors which he amazingly does because he has such a wide vocal range… but his solo stuff showcases his velvety, hits you in your soul voice….ya know…I love all 7 BTS members but V’s voice just makes you melt inside…💜💜..love your channel and thank you for focusing on V for his birthday..Vday is coming!

Matilda Mann did the background vocal. She’s singer and song writer from London. I love her voice and songs (if you are interested, check out her albums, “Sounder”, “October16th” and “If that makes sense”). Should check out “Snow Flower” by V which was released last year on Christmas Eve.

Yeah 1st verse and chorus were her (Matilda Mann) harmonies and in 2nd verse and chorus V harmonized with himself.

Such beautiful songs for his Wooga squad Hyungs. The way they adore him and he has jumped in to support them and their personal projects with these two OSTs can nes through to me in his emotional singing. All the Korean Drama directors are dying to cast Taehyung as an actor but not yet.

I love Tae's voice it is so soothing and calming. There are even videos here on youtube where parents play Tae's songs to calm a distressed baby. I actually have a playlist of Tae's music that I have as background music for sleep or anytime I want a peaceful atmosphere. I know he loves many different types of music and has said he wants to experiment with different genres for his album. So I'm hoping for some Jazz, R&B, Acoustic, and any other surprises he wants to give us. I seriously can't wait for his solo work as he is my favorite vocalist in the entertainment industry period. His voice whether he goes low or high is like a warm blanket of love that I can't get enough of. Fun fact, the male leads in both of these are very close friends of Tae's and members of his brotherhood group called the Wooga Squad. They just did a Series called In the Soop: Friendcation that was such a joy to watch their interactions. The female lead is the same in both dramas. Two of my favorites from V. I even heard Sweet Night before I knew BTS and I loved it. His voice made a huge impact on me. And this two dramas are fantastic. These are the songs that you will listen to everyday, 24/7, over and over again, because of KIM TAEHYUNG's beautiful voice! He's voice is so sweet, calm, soulful and beautiful, indeed! Taehyung's kind of music is the one that will last a lifetime. You will not feel bored listening to his voice. It's very unique and amazing!

I totally agree with your take on his pronunciation - They all work so hard to get better with their English, but I selfishly hope that V doesn't ever fully master it because I find his current vowel formation already perfect. If you haven't seen it already, the Christmas medley that they did is both entertaining and shows how much work they've put into their English.
I hadda google both songs. Neither were written by V, both are solo tracks - no one else, just him. V was one of the two producers for Sweet Night. Neither song is under Hybe/BigHit.

There’s a few songs available songs on SoundCloud that have been put up from v it’s beginning too look like Christmas and his snippet of travel with me… there’s a few places on you tube of previous snippets of songs his shown via instagram but uploaded too TH-cam but they are really short ones maybe for Birthday celebration you would like? All take different genres again… also not sure if Mel has but the creation of the in the soop song would be great for you too see as it’s the process and behind the scenes in the studio also is funny 💜🫶🏽🎄
