@@epiccarguy892 electronic faults for sure!! I had one from 2004 and at random times (around 165k) the high beams and central lock was acting up like crazy.. Door locks poppin' in and out, signaling all the time..
This used to be my first car but mine was from 2004 and had airco (1.5 LS ICE), all black so I tinted the windows and looked sick!! Even though they stole the taillight design from a Skoda.. The sedan of the same family tree was infamous for having leaks in the sealing so it's a good thing you got the 'station' model (even though it's considered a hatchback due to the loading space)
Well early 2000 hyundai/Kia brand we’re still pretty cheap compared to how they are now much better materials now a days but these were still pretty durable and last ig taken care of
I am working at kia dealership for 4 years now (in europe) and there was never any problem with automatic transmisson since i came here. Most of these old rio's sold here were manuals but like i said, automatics from kia are definetly reliable, if it is working correctly when you are buying it, it will probably work fine for long time. But don't confuse it for DCT - double clutch transmission - they are not very good, but you will find them in way newer cars
Lol that’s because like most of Africa, South America and Asia have road laws that are not as concise compared to the Western world. Unlike most Western countries, honking randomly in the rest of the world isn’t considered as an insult.

In Korea, these old cars would have already been scrapped and would not have been seen on the road.
This one’s in great condition compared to most of the other cars on this channel
same in western Europe or exported to eastern and balkans as they are below Euro 6
they dont scrap them though, most of them end up in poorer asian countries and africa
