Thank you, my friend! I appreciate the kind comments. I enjoying learning about the different die varieties and oddities of coins. Thank you very much for watching😀
Really fun bud! Thanks for taking us along. I love watching these videos. That one dude who was super animated, forget his name used to open these up all the times searching for and finding cameos on Benjies. I have a handful of unopened 1960’s sets I may open sometime as well. I’m sure they’ve never been opened as they were shipped from the mint to my grandpa and given to me by my dad. Maybe do it on one of our zoom calls!
That would be awesome! Would love to see you open one. Although might be worth more as sealed it’s the thrill of the chase. One coin can make it worth the risk. Gotta leave some sealed for sentimental value too. Thanks for watching!! I knew the likelihood of these sets being legitimately sealed was remote but still had fun chasing
Thank you! Hopefully, you found some nicely toned nickels. I have a few that turned a shade of purple but nothing special. Thanks very much for watching and commenting 😀
Me too! Definitely the main attraction for these sets. Even if the set had been previously searched, the coins are still pretty decent. I had fun. Thanks very much for watching 😀
More nonsense than coin sense haha 😂 I’ll do the same thing and pick these “unopened sets” up when they sell at or below the price of opened sets. They’re almost always searched but no harm no foul
Yeah I still had fun. Even if one decent coin had come out of it I’d have been happy. Some of the die varieties could have been missed by a previous searcher if they’re mainly going for cameos and toners. Never know. This was definitely not my wisest purchase 😂 Was an impulse buy. The coins are okay for the most part. I’ve seen much worse from sets like this. I might use them for album fillers. Thanks for watching
Absolutely. Any of the die varieties or cameo coins would have been sent for grading. I didn’t make the smartest purchase with these sets but it was still fun to open. There’s always next time. Thank you for watching!! 😀
Nice coins overall. Proof sets in those envelopes where never officially sealed from the mint. Many videos show the blue boxes with 5, 10 and even 25 sets not sealed inside when the shipping box seals where opened.
I think they were technically sealed although almost all of them had the glue fail over the years if I recall. So a box of 25 may have a few with the seal intact
@@tylonnplatinumthe3rd659 that makes sense. There’s always been a debate about the seal. Failed glue could explain why some were open. Thanks for the insight. Unfortunately, this set showed signs of being sealed by someone other than the Mint lol Was still fun to open
Nope. They pushed them as sealed and unopened. It was a sketchy impulse purchase on my part lol My own fault for not being more cautious. I still had fun. The coins are halfway decent. Thanks for watching 👊
Love your videos my friend. Your coin knowledge is very impressive. Thanks for sharing 🍀

Very cool bud. 👍👍
Thank you!! It was still fun to open even though I knew in the back of my mind that I had gotten hosed 😂 Thanks for watching

Looks like a resealed to me.Thanks for sharing
Yup. Seemed like an amateur job of sealing. I still had fun opening the set. Thanks for watching, Brother 👊
Nice pickups, I was buying these a couple years back looking for nickel toners!

Nice Old Set👍🏼😎
Thank you! I love the sets from the 1950’s. I had fun opening this one. Thanks for watching 😀

If you found any, would you have sent them for grading? I’d seen many conten creators do this. Cheers and keep hunting CSAN ✌🏻😊

Thank you. You’re correct. I have several five-packs with unsealed envelopes. I bought these when I shouldn’t have been online lol
