Full bell lines only make a difference on mint sets the business strike coins not proof sets. Proof sets should always have full bell lines full steps and split bands because they are more careful in how they are made and are created for collectors with special polish dies to make the proof coins exception quality. In south America the families who had silver did not starve like those families with out silver so it does make a point that silver is real money something that will help in many different cases with monetary collapse. Nice proof coins hope you get them in to airtites. I have seen silver go over $45 an ounce 3 times in my life time and expect it to do it again at least two more times in my life time.
Your discussion about silver goes to show how truly difficult it is to anticipate what precious metals will do….and under what circumstances they will do it.! I think within 3 months of you posting this video silver was around $28-$29 an ounce…lol. You also mentioned the price being tied to inflation. Coincidentally I personally am seeing the most dramatic rise inflation that I’ve ever seen as an adult and from what I’m told it hasn’t so dramatically increased this way in over 40 years…. But silver prices aren’t really doing squat.! not yet anyway. I purchased numismatic silver….( pre 64 moderns…64-69 Kennedy’s….Franklins….ASE’s…ect. ) around the time you posted this video and sold half of it at about $27 an ounce. That was the first time I ever buy precious metals or coins to that extent and I clearly got lucky as hell to buy it and then especially sell it when I did. If you can afford to stack precious metal….and put it away and don’t look at it for 20 yrs…..based on historical charts it’s ALMOST a guarantee that the price will increase dramatically. Anyway I am very new to Queen collecting and and enjoying learning stuff on some of your videos so thanks for posting 🤓💪🏼👍🏼
Hey Chris. When you break open these sets what do you do with the packaging? I'm looking for packaging. My coin shop sold me a few 1950's flat packs without the packaging for cheap. Looking for original packaging. not the new envelops you find on ebay. Thank you the video.
Welcome to August 10, 2024. Just ran across your channel. The price of silver as of 2:05pm on this beautiful Saturday afternoon is $27.54. Interesting topic you picked about precious metals 4 years ago. It's funny how so much has changed over the course of time. GOLD! $2,431.70 AN OUNCE!! Unbelievable. I tend to agree with @davidargent2688 about silver not doing squat at the moment but I'm still hopeful. Beautiful nickel by the way. I too tend to collect the older flat packs. But I'm not a seller. I just buy them as close to spot as I can and just stash them away as part of my kids future. Hopefully they can appreciate the hobby of coin collecting as much as we do. Enjoyed you video and decided to subscribe. Thanks for posting!
awesome coins
They don't designate full bell lines on proofs, it is expected on proofs. Same with bands, and steps, they do not designate them.
Nickel Nation Coins & More thanks i didn’t know that appreciate it
I just picked up a 56 today from my lcs. I'm debating whether or not to open it, the envelope is even still sealed
