love these deck profiles of the less common heroes we saw. I wish we had the stats of what heroes were in attendance. I think I only saw like 2-3 sigismars (other than me) there, which is a big shift from Angers
I was thinking people would prefer variety like this instead of multiple Waru decks even if it meant going outside of the top 8. I do think I saw some of the overall stats at one point and I may try and share them in a future video. Glad you enjoyed the profile!
I'm curious to hear more thoughts on Frankenstein. My biggest fear with Treyst is not pulling a single Haven so while Frankenstein is good value from the reserve, it is one that has to be thrown into the reserve or it feels really bad. And without a Haven, the reserve ability does nothing. He called it one of the most essential cards for the strategy, but I feel like if I pull off a Haven (or especially two), I'm already feeling pretty confident about my chances, so Frankenstein becomes almost win more and doesn't help bolster a contingency plan. Now, I just finished getting the rares necessary to have a good Treyst deck, so I don't claim to be an expert, but from my experience with Treyst, I need more cards that can win games if I don't see a Haven, or if the opponent discards my Haven
I do also want to add that the deck profile was super insightful and gave me some things to consider with my deck. I'm not trying to hate haha, just want to hear more thoughts about that card being considered essential
I think these are valid concerns. One of my favorite parts about Treyst is that with the hero power and all of the other draw and resupply you'll often get very far into your deck. This week I had just 3 cards left in one match so I do think you can usually count on seeing at least one haven. I mana pretty aggressively with the deck and so cards like Frankenstein and Salvager can be really important to keep the flow of cards coming. Frankenstein specifically is awkward without haven but even just a bravos tracer from reserve is pretty good. I also think it is ok to have some cards like this that help make sure you don't lose the games were things are going right because other more consistent cards might lack the raw power you need to close out some games. We will see if I can get Fane to share his thoughts later too. I hope you can dodge the Waru players and enjoy your new deck!
@@TricksterCG Alright, I'm officially a believer. After testing it, I do think it is a card that fits the niche possible with altered. If I drew one in my opening hand, I just tossed it in mana. Otherwise, I was regularly down to a third of my deck and very rarely don't see a Bastion. Took 2nd in the Wednesday Online tournament and Frankenstein was instrumental in getting the value I needed on my last game
Hi there ! Thank you for this video. What do you think about « anansi » and « avant garde bravos », sorry I don’t know the translation. The one which makes lose fleeting and gains one boost to another creature. Would like to have your opinion on those two in a decklist like you shared.
@AndyMagicienLille I do think both of those cards are strong. They're worse at setting up counters quick but powerful later on. I might run the vanguard in Subhash but for now I do prefer the rares that draw and resupply at a low cost for treyst. The cost of 3 can also be a lot when you have options like Frankenstein for 2 mana or can play a 1 drop and 2 drop with haven boosts.
i really love treyst. my only issue is that is really hard to find unique cards for this decks. these three in the video are really good. by my side i can only find unique with ability/constrictions related to token or permanent.. sadly not the most useful thing.
@@GuglielmoCok this is a good assessment. For some factions like ordis it is a lot easier to find unique cards because they are more generic but I agree for Treyst it is hard to find ones that are both synergistic and powerful.
This guy seems super knowledgeable about Treyst, hoping to see some good results from him with the recent balance changes to Robin Hood.
@@jamessimpson2173 the change really opened up the meta. I'm sure he'll go places!

Unluckly i don't have any good unique for Treyst, how can i replace those uniques cards with common ones?
@@damysparatutto I'd switch the 3 salvager to common. Then you can add 2 rare chronicler.
