The only thing I have to say about this is that there are contoured ESP pads, not all of them are straight through the back. I love my ESP pads, Thinline pad, and CSI pad. I have a toklat maytrix English half pad but I haven't gotten to it yet.
None of these appeal to me, tbh... :-\ I much prefer the 5 stat pads, Diamond Wool pads, or the impact gel pads. I don't think any of the pads promoted in this video would work for my horse, unfortunately... :(
Harmony Horsemanship Really, you don’t like any of those? Using a wool pad was recommended to me by my saddle fitters. I don’t own an impact gel, but I’ve ridden my horse in them before and I liked them. The second pad in your looks like it could work, but I don’t like pads with shims and I don’t like the other disadvantages you listed. First one wouldn’t work because it’s not contoured and my mare is a bit swaybacked so I need a contoured pad. 3rd one would actually appeal to me it didn’t have shims lol. 😭 Any pads you recommend that are similar to the 3rd one that doesn’t have shims? I need a pad that is contoured, and doesn’t change the fit of my saddle.
@@freddyaltina2737 I learnt a lot following a textile analyst "truth tack review" where she pulls apart saddle pads and other tack to anazlyse the products and materials.
Thank you for the smiley assistant, she made me feel happy. 😀
I prefer 5Star or Diamond Wool pads over others. They are the top saddle pad brands.
Thanks for sharing the brands you like :)
Truth Tack Review has some interesting thoughts on wool... check them out :)

Gel pads have no impact protection and wool pads hold heat which isn't good for your horse's back
