I believe that this means that there was a time loop. Mono is betrayed by six, and is entrapped in the tv realm. Slowly over time he comes to the conclusion that he can use his powers to go back in time in order to stop six and thus he becomes the tall man/tv man. In doing so he merely wanted to save Mono, but his past self stops it. He tries to show his past self how much of a monster six is by transforming her into that selfish destructive monster, but Mono still saves her and gets betrayed. This may also show many children in little nightmares have powers, Mono controls tvs and six through various means (eating people) can absorb power. This also likely shows that when these children grow up they become powerful monsters, maybe such as the lady from Little nightmares 1. So it's possible that children, at least the actual living ones, are kill on sight. Maybe before little nightmares of any kind children became monsters who made the world chaotic and turned everyone into monsters? But these are my ideas on this game's lore. There's also a secret end if you find all the glitched kids which shows even more important lore, but that's better if it's experienced blind.
@SwishFN ? I know right? I always thought six wasn't a good person, just a sort of survivalist willing to do anything. But this was downright evil, If there ever is a little nightmares 3 I hope that she plays an important villain role or something.
@@Aboutsaturn I mean in the secret ending spoilers so don’t read more if you want to avoid them She had one of her hunger pains and when she gets those she’ll eat the first thing she sees alive or dead, so she may have thought she was saving Mono by letting him fall.
Same. This whole world of this game is just another on another level. Beautifully made. The way it was shot. The music. Everything. Sad ending though 😕
I think this whole time the tall man was trying to prevent the other version of himself from making the same mistake he did. It could be different tho cause he knows what he did wrong
Actually she said this... “That was a close one Mono! But I’m not gonna pull you up. See without you, I would keep playing with that music box. I just wanted to look you in the eyes as I took it all back. Goodbye.”
Okay so, here's how I see it. Mono is actually the little kid version of the hat man who I'm guessing can travel through time via teleportation through televisions. By using that power he figured out that Six was going to betray him when he was young so the adult version of him decided to try and stop his younger self from being betrayed by Six. I LOVED that ending! Pretty crazy but awesome! I can't wait for the DLC! :D
Let me guys explain the biggest thing U know why mono forget everything when he travel in the loop ? Cause the only thing that make him can teleporte is suicide Thats why we saw the thin man in little nightmares 1 commit suicide and let a letter behind his chair so if he succeed and go back to the world and didnt betrayed by six he will be in the maw and will be in the bag that six was and see the letter and find six (the lady) So the DLC OR LITTLE NIGHTMARES 3 i think will be breaking for this loop and see the really story without six sin Thats my theorie
@MOHAMMED YASEEN Six betrayed us because she was going to eat us, yet trusted us and cared for us so much that she didn't wanna kill us and the developers are just making it seem like she betrayed us. Her stomach grumbles in the secret ending (and Shadow Six appears, a sign that she needs to eat anything she sees) which makes me think she didn't wanna eat Mono when she started getting stomach pains near when they were running towards the exit in the signal tower, so she hoped that he would survive down there, but he got corrupted. Maybe Little Nightmares 3 is Six trying to find Mono again and freeing him from his evil form. (I believe that he wasn't down there for that long and he was just turning into another broadcaster) Cause in the regular LN games Six seems timid and shy but when her hunger takes over she eats the first thing she sees. Six either gonna starve to death or find something to eat she chose to starve rather than kill Mono
The reason six dropped mono because if she didnt let go of him then she would've ate him because remember in little nightmare 1, she eats others to gain her power
That was very interesting especially the fact that it's going to be a never ending loop and that the thin man was trying to save his past self aka mono from becoming the thin man aka his present self and the loop repeating. Mono was just trying to save his friend not knowing he would be betrayed and become the very same monster he is running from.
The reason six dropped mono because if she didnt let go of him then she would've ate him because remember in little nightmare 1, she eats others to gain her power
@@nowakihearts9935 It's not BS if you get the secret ending. @@kaddindefiant it is bullshit because six didn’t know about her uncontrollable hunger, until AFTER she betrayed mono and left the tower. She didn’t know about shadow six until AFTER she came out of the tv. You people saying she betrayed him to save him sound really dumb. She betrayed him because she didn’t trust him anymore. She betrayed him because she hated him for destroying her music box. She betrayed him because he was the whole reason the thin man came after her in the first place. She betrayed him because if it had not been for him “saving” her from her room, none of this would have happened....she betrayed mono because she was tired of being put in danger, and as the devs have said, it’s in six’s nature to put herself before others and do whatever is necessary to survive
I HOPE HE SEES THISSSSSS and I saw all his videos but what are the shadow children lol I must have missed something on the moments I went to the kitchen or bathroom lol.
the little sound you hear before six drops him, i think is her stomach growling, so she probably dropped him so she wouldn’t have to eat him but mono thinks it’s because she betrayed him so it’s a constant time loop of him trying to stop her from dropping him without him realizing it was to save him
Nope, it's wrong because six didn't know about her controllable hunger until after she betrayed mono and left the tower, and also six never hungry in the entire game,LN2 is a prequel for LN1
Same, i had hopes for my little paper bag masked boy, I liked him a lot more than Six, the runaway kid died, i want at least a boy to have a happy ending, i hate Six! no offence but, i wish it was Six the one who dies, not Mono! after all he had done for her, she does this to him?! she doesn't realise if she had took him with her, his fate would probabaly not be in a time loop anymore!
The thin man probably sent a younger version of himself to capture all the children including 6. He comes out the tv at the beginning, coincidently bringing 6 all the way to his adult self. Unless part 2 is a prequel to part 1.
@@S-H-1-O-N I do wonder with the secret ending, if the hint was Mono was connected to the children being captured in part 1. Part 2 is similar to the comics Ferryman. The reason Mono wears so many hats was to blend in and capture children to deliver them to the Maw.
Apperently before little nightmares released the devs said six was a girl but once the game came out they tried to deny it so that's why I'm pretty sure everyone says there a girl.
My theory: If you see the secret ending of the game, you see Six is met face to face with her dark-self. You kept seeing dark six in the first game when she ate the gnome, resembling her hunger, and what she will be willing to do to satiate her hunger. Six knew she would be hungry right before she dropped Mono, so she "betrayed" him without warning in order not to forcibly eat him when they escaped. But Mono had no way of knowing this! People in this comment section make mentions of a time loop, and I can 100% agree with those theories. So when Mono grows up to be the Thin Man, Mono tries to capture Six and turn her into a big, selfish, violent monster, to show the younger version of himself truly how "bad" she was. Mono kills the Thin Man before he could catch onto the idea. But the Thin Man and Mono had no idea why Six truly killed them. Maybe the DLC to this game will cover some plot holes, but from what I see: Yes, Six may be pretty sadistic and dark, but it was never her intent to betray Mono. She would rather him fall to his death without knowing the reason, than Six eating Mono following their escape from the transmission. I may be wrong, but I truly believe Six is just an innocent kid, who finds herself in situations where there is only one option. I'm probably wrong, but that's my theory.
my thoughts exactly, adult mono is trying to save his younger self, but he doesnt know why she did what she did. She didnt want to let him go, you could see she was debating with herself. If they could talk i would imagine her telling him, im sorry... before dropping. I think its just a messed up situation, she had to choose whether to eat her friend or to let him die. In both instances mono wouldve felt betrayed, but only one would allow him to live, and she wanted him to live.
Either shes Pissed that Mono Broke her Music Box Or she sees that Mono and the thin man Had some form of resemblence, and Six hated the thin man for "Torturing her" My personal theory is that when Six was captured by the thin man, she became corrupted and more Evil, "The dark spirit" represents some part of her gone (Her good side or something similar) and now she has an eternal hunger
Guys she didn’t betray mono she did that to save his life remember she had hunger problems she dropped him because she didn’t want to lose control and eat him if you watch the end of the credits where dark six appears every time she gets hungry.
I believe that 6 actually did that to save him because in the secret ending her stomach was growling which may mean she didn't want to eat him I think she was trying to control her hunger because in the beginning she locked herself in the room to resist eating innocent people which also may mean when 6 and mono first met she wasn't afraid of him she was afraid of herself and didn't want to repeat going back eating people also realized she hasn't eaten anything this entire gameplay which might mean she was struggling holding back the entire time but mono not knowing six side of the story he thought he was being betrayed so he tries to make her look like a monster so he could save himself from her but mono ended up dying to himself and saving six but stay trapped in the TV so he rewinded everything and waited for himself repeating the loop and I think there are certain kids like mono and six with supernatural abilities but the ones without who grew up without those powers think that eating or killing them will either relieve them from jealousy or inherit there powers
she was hunger because she lost her good side and only her monster remained and when she was hunger she was eating to attain power it wasnt just because she was hunger she kept eating so that she could eat someone that had powers
six stole mono's power thats how she was able to go thru the tv and because that was the first time she used someones power it did something to her and she dropped him cause she's selfish as u can see in the tower u see the selfish monster she is that was her true form
@@S1x233 she still had a good side because she locked herself in that room trying to prevent eating people shes not evil but she does have a power that makes her crave
@@zamatesenpai8815 I do not know what so ever, but you can see that if you look very closely when holding mono by the hand, she absorb some of his power, that why the door become more, I don't know what to say but it started glowing towards her.
That's where the first Little Nightmares started. Remember from the first game, there's a hanging man look exactly the thin man in this game. That's exactly Mono! I don't know if you all remember because there's some part that there's literally a hanging man.
the thin man was actually was saving his ownself, from the future, to prevent for making the same mistake, that why, because he was only following six, when six mono out 3 time that where mono future self decide to attack six, but he could have did the same to mono too, but it didn't happen, it looks like the tall man was just trying to save his ownself from the chaotic that was going to happen all this time, it suck man, ME AND ALL MY HOMIE HATE SIX. that girl evil.
@@jersonk11 six didn’t know about her uncontrollable hunger until AFTER she betrayed mono, and left the tower. She didn’t drop mono because she cared about him, she dropped him because she couldn’t trust him anymore. He possessed the same abilities as the thin man, he didn’t save her when the thin man snatched her up (as she reached out to him) and he broke her music box (something she held very dear to her heart). Mono was the whole reason she got put into danger in the first place. If he never “saved” her from her room, or forced his way in, none of this would have happened. That’s the loop. Mono Having a good heart and trying to help six out, when in reality he only made things worse.
@@jersonk11 adding to the other guys comment there was a picture of the first games setting its like as if she had a calling to go there. Its like all living little children in this world become monsters that then replace the former one and then the cycle starts again and again but I also think that's the reason why these monsters go after you
@@tikkanurannisa2018 But she wasn't NEAR close enough to the tower for it to actually affect her. And she just found her rain coat in the game. She does not have her hunger yet, PERIOD.
@@maxdrags3115 There's no actual explanation for area of effect of the tower, I agree. But if this was really a sequel according to the devs team, then the only explanation I can think of is her power growing weaker by time (maybe even her memories, too) when she gets closer to Pale city & it's tower. That's why she easily get captured by the Hunter on the woods (at least that's what I get from the comic version).
Six dropped mono because in the secret ending you see her getting hungry when she gets out and in little nightmares 1 she will eat anything next to her so if she didn’t drop mono she would of ate him so she gave him a chance of survival and let him go.
Ironically, Six eating Mono would still have been happier ending than what he got. Atleast it's an instant death. Now he's trapped for 40+ years in that Transmission completely alone, until he became a shell of a person
If you look with a keen eye, you can see Six looking at Mono's face intensely. She tilts her head to the side, more forward, and gazes at his face. I believe that it is then when she realizes that Mono literally looks like the Thin Man and decides to let him go. Key Points: 1) The game intentionally takes away Mono's option for wearing a hat, this was probably done intentionally. If you refused to customize your hat throughout the game and played with the canon paper bag on your face Six would've never been able to see your true face until that very moment where Mono has no "hat". 2) When Six grabs onto you it is like any other time throughout the game: helping out a friend. But after an interaction that looked a lot like Six staring down at Mono's face, she decides to let you go, pulling her arm back repulsively almost in disgust. This was probably the enlightening moment where Six went, "Ayo wait a moment.. you without your mask.. you look just like that Thin Man dude who transformed me into a monster.. Hella sus.." 3) I believe that if Six were to have truly wanted to betray Mono from the beginning, she wouldn't have held her arm out for him. Why risk her falling down just to pretend to save a person you've been planning on betraying this whole time. This means that before she saw his true face she thought of him as a friend. See point 2 for more info. This is just all speculation on my part but I feel like it has a lot of points that make it true. The secret ending probably was intended to be what it is: a secret ending with additional details that are juicy enough to covet for but not important enough to flip the main story. (If it were to be the latter, in which the secret ending adds a huge twist to the main story and how you view it, it would and should be referred to as a "true" ending.) An ending that is rewarded to the player if you search through every nook and cranny of the game. The plot and understanding of the main story should not drastically change whether or not you decide to go for the extra secret ending. It sets up the timeline of the two games but I don't think it played a big part in Six betraying Mono in the original ending like many are attempting to explain.
Well partly but six plays a big part in why he was trying to stop mono from still thinking she was loyal but I also think SPOILER ALERT Her shadow self from the secret ending was really influencing her to go to the light house in where the first game was set instead of both of them running off some where a lot of ppl think that little children like mono and six grow up to become very powerful monsters that replace thier already matured self like mono and since the light house thing was on the poster shadow six was looking at (secret ending) that means she might grow up to become the lady and replace her since she does have similar powers to her its like each child grows into a monster that controls one place in this world hence why the game is called...'little nightmares'
So basically the thin man’s trying to stop Six from betraying us. That’s likely why he’s focused on six. And he only fights mono or takes mono to try and stop them from getting to the point of where six would drop him or to separate them so, again, Mono won’t be dropped. In a way, it’s like a time loop. There is also a secret ending clip that’s obtained when you find all of the glitching remains. *SPOILERS* *SPOILERS*. It shows Six jump out the tv and it shows a glitching version of her dark self, named “Shadow Six” by the community. Shadow Six looks at a picture of the Maw and in a way, is telling her to go back to the Maw so that the time loop can restart. This is also still a sequel, because The Thin Man’s website description reads that “He haunts this dark and desolate place on an endless journey, searching for something.” The endless journey is the time loop, and each time he’s trying to search for a way to break it. Another reason why this is still a sequel is because in the first game, Six’s prime objective is to escape the maw. Some people think this is a prequel because Six is going to the maw. But why would she go to the maw, only to immediately decide she wants to escape? It doesn’t make sense, unless she’s actually RETURNING to the maw. As for people who are confused about the raincoat, the studio and the new comics have shown or hinted at little teases about Mono and Six visiting the Pale City before they meet in the first chapter, so it’s quite possible Six could’ve just lost her raincoat or even willingly left it so she can stay hidden and safe. Because a bright yellow amidst the darkness of grey and black is quite easy to spot.
I think LN2 is a prequel. I don't think Six wants to return to the Maw. I think that Shadow Six is a side-effect of the tower, along with her Hunger. She somehow gets to the maw and Shadow Six forces her to feed.
@@litwaffle9848 No no no, you gotta think. SIX’s goal is to immediately escape the maw. With Mono turning INTO the thin man, and the other evidence, it’s more plausible for it to be a sequel, and for it to specifically be a time loop. Time seems to be an interesting factor in little nightmares 2. Through I will say in chapter four and five, there are instances where the background soundtrack will play in reverse, a nod to what’s really going possibly. Also, the hall which the thin man is stuck behind the door- it is really winded, bendy, and twisted as the game progresses, but at the end it all returns to normal because time is probably being reversed. It’s possible that Shadow Six is forcing her back to the maw, yes, but it’s probably for a different reason, like to restart the loop. Although, sadly we don’t have much to work with because Bandai and Tarsier are just SO nice with that, lol.
@@northvoice2060 I understand she wants to leave the Maw, she didn't go there by choice. Shadow Six forced her. If LN2 is a sequel, why is Six's Powers, raincoat, Hunger, and Shadow Six all absent?
@@litwaffle9848 I already said stuff about the raincoat and shadow six, if you read my full comment. And as for her powers, that's something quite interesting. To understand that we have to talk about the maw, the lady, and the signal tower. The signal tower is responsible for warping and distorting everything in the little nightmares world. Everything is the way it is BECAUSE of the signal tower. The Maw, was made by the lady, and is a safe haven from the outside world. The lady learned more about her powers in the maw, as stated in a response to a twitter comment. The lady was the one with all that knowledge, she would also be the one who knew how to unlock and maintain them. Six however, wouldn't have knowledge on how to use them properly, so it's more likely that her powers would've stayed but just would've been left deep inside her and untapped. Another possibility is the signal tower. While on the maw, magic was based around dark ashes. In the pale city, where the signal tower is, magic seems to be based on static, warping, and distortion. It's quite possible that it's the signal tower preventing six from any use of her power. Likewise, perhaps if Mono was perhaps able to come aboard the maw somehow, he would not be able to use his full power because the dark magic prohibits him
She betrayed Mono because you both were.. probably never even friends in the first place, she's a lone survivor, relying on her instincts, using anything useful as an opportunity to survive. I mean, Six and Mono probably had some friendship along the way, but in that time where Six reached for help, Mono didn't do anything, leaving her vulnerable, captured by the Thin Man. And also you broke her music box, so its kinda her revenge.
I haven’t sat down and watched hollow in ages. I miss it. Growing up and living life as they say gets overwhelming sometimes. It was refreshing watching you hollow.
I don't think she betrayed him. Remember how she was so hungry in LN 1 that she would eat whatever she looked at? I think she was aware of her hunger coming back and she didn't want to risk Mono's life by eating him. Maybe letting him go was the only way to keep him safe
I hope there will be more LNs to come for you to play, Hollow! I hope the atmosphere, graphics, story, and music will continue to be amazing! One of the greatest game prequels/sequels out there right now!
7:21 hollow you did what jacksepticeye said when he played Uncharted 4.He mention the same thing about metal gear solid 3 ( climbing the ladder with calming music ).
I'm absolutely in shock too, the 6 was crazy, i decided not like her since little nightmares 1,im so sadly mono aka thin man got betrayed after he try to saved her 😢😢
I don’t know why but I have a feeling that every enemy/monster in the games were trying to only kill six and maybe that’s why she was in the house she was probably kidnapped so I think the hunter was just trying to kill six not mono just like everyone else
But they don't even go after Six. The doctor ignored Six and went for Mono instead when he got into the oven. And the hunter shoots Mono instead of Six.
The monsters are focused on Mono because they probably know he's The Thin Man and from what we know, all the monsters from LN 1 and 2 hate The Thin Man because they know he's the culprit.
My theory is that the eye realm needs a host , or someone to stay in it, for it to be able to function and stay together. The thin man put six in there as revenge so she would become the new host , and would have to stay there for years , just as he did, he knew that he would be killed by his younger self, so he set everything up, BUT mono messed everything thing up by saving six and by returning he once again had to become the host for the signal tower/eye realm
I just finished the game like 1min ago and that twist almost made me cry i feel so bad for the thin man/mono spending his entire life in the tv realm trying to stop his past self from making the biggest mistake of his life(saving six) but instead gets killed by his past self and gets betrayed all over again, man what a twist
In the end, his friend betray him and he had no where to go or do so he made up his mind and became just like the thin man. That’s how the thin made is made...I think
Huh I mean him trying to stop his next self seems more likely in all honesty I mean why would we see this through the perspective of mono and not his thin man self
@@jojobizarrelivingstone594 that’s how you make an interesting game, LM1 started off with six who is possibly just a younger version of the Lady of the maw, so now it’s monos story. Starting off with the thin man will tell you the backstory straight away. Just makes the game boring if you already know that the thin man is trying to stop six from betraying him but I still don’t know how six already knew who the thin man really was and mono doesn’t, I mean she did keep “saving” mono from the tv but in the secret ending six’s hunger displayed in LM1 acts up again so maybe they were saving him?
OK so basically the reason the teacher, the doctor, the residents of the town, and the thin man are all deformed is because of the signal tower. the tower feeds off of hatred. that is why mono becomes the thin man, the betrayal from six letting go of him sparks a hatred, which the tower feeds off of in the time loop, turning him into the thin man and infinitely deforming the teacher, doctor, etc. edit: also, the reason the tower becomes all fleshy at the end of the game is because when the thin man takes people's bodies and leaves behind a glitch/their soul i believe it uses their bodies to add onto the tower's mass and power. the tower uses it's reality bending properties to disguise itself as brick and mortar.
Just a loop of him trying to prevent to his tiny version to save six but betrayed by six in the end. Six is just savage as f, just like in Little Nightmares 1
Hollow:"You need to follow the music to know which door to go in." Also Hollow: *Spends the next 10 minutes randomly going through doors hoping he guesses the right one*
the thing guy is mono in the future, every time mono tries to communicate with himself via tv, six interacts immediately and runs away. at beginning six was waiting for mono all along and thats why mono when ever saw himself (Thing guy) it interrupts whole environment except for six, she can run normally and so on.
I saw from the artbook (theres vids on yt) that the people in the city get sucked into the TVs and their bodies get turned into the meaty gross stuff, and its why their clothes are everywhere
This question keeps occuring in my mind the more that I think about it. I may just be really uninformed... Is the Thin Man really grown up Mono? I mean, is he really? We see that when Mono grows up and he looks like the Thin Man, but a lot of the viewers and other creatures look similar in structure. So did Mono grow up into himself, which is Thin Man, or did Mono just become the NEXT Thin Man because of Six's actions, meaning that they weren't actually the same person, Mono just assumed the role as Thin Man when he was lost in the transmission. Mono became the next Thin Man so to speak, but didn't have to. Maybe he wouldn't have became Thin Man if Six saved him? Because I know that Six thought she was helppng by dropping him, she thought she was being smart. She thought that Mono becomes Thin Man id she takes him with him, she thought she was being smart, but really it makes sense because Six is stuck in the loop as well; we see Six drop Mono because she thinks this will prevent Thin Man from arising, but really Thin Man happens because of her, so it is ironic that when she thought she had an idea it actually made it worse. To sum it up, did Mono become Thin Man because he wanted to get revenge on Six just like Thin Man, so he kept obessing and all he could think about is betrayal, and that is what starts to form the next Thin Man. This is just a dum theory though
i get as to what everyone is saying about mono actually being the younger version of thin man but im very curious as to why exactly all of the world seems to be drawn to the tv's throughout the game and why they cant get away from them
@Steven Campbell I doubt the thin man placed the TVs, it felt like the world was fine until the signal tower was born and caused all the TVs to corrupt the people of the city.
I don't think Six betrayed Mono I think she let go because she has the stomach problems so it's between saving him and eating or letting go and maybe saving him
*The tall man is a future version of yourself (mono) trapped in a time loop and he’s trying to warn you that six isn’t as good as she seems and you try to save yourself from getting betrayed by six which has already happened to you this explains why everytime you went to the tv to realize what would become of you six would pull you out and not let you see and how you tried showing yourself how much of a monster she is by turning her into it one*) and i also think you yourself become a monster if your a little child that’s why everybody who sees you tries to kill you right when they see you because you would turn out to be a monster or (nightmare) and that’s why the game is called little nightmares*
SPOILERS TO SECRET ENDING Do you remember how hungry Six was in the first game? She ate everyone and everything. In the secret ending, she met her shadow and her stomach began to growl. Perhaps she knew that she was going to get hungry and eat her only friend, so it was easier to let him go. Perhaps she thought that he would have a chance to survive there, given that in the LN1 she had superpowers that Mono would not be able to fight against.
Great play-through. I enjoyed it. ☺️ I like Six even though people hate her now. As for me: I like to think that Six 𝒘𝒂𝒔 going to pull Mono up and escape with him - however, she dropped him because of the Signal Tower's Control over her body - The Tower is a living creature that uses Thin Man's power as a tool to reach out and feed on living things through the broadcasts, and since Mono destroys his future self, thus destroying the Tower's way of feeding itself, the Tower was now determined to keep Mono, and begin to use Mono's power to feed itself - and the Tower made Six leave Mono behind against her will, much to her dismay - the Tower also prevented Six from being able to enter its' domain again in any way, so she couldn't try to free Mono. And since Six tried to take away the Tower's method of feeding, which would've made it starve, the Tower used its' abilities to curse Six with hunger bouts so that at any given time, she can become suddenly hungry out of nowhere, thus making her know how it really feels to starve... Anyways, I wrote a fanfic about Six and Mono reuniting on the Maw (as kids). Six explains to him why she dropped him, apologizes,, and the two of them continue their friendship. It's a cute, fluff story. I have it posted on *DeviantArt..com* ..as well as *Fanfiction..Net* .. You can also read it below if you'd like: *"Loved and Forgiven"* It was late at night. Six sat in the former Lady's chamber at a small dresser with a low mirror. The tall furniture had been replaced with smaller versions to suit Six's short height. She had also placed a small bed in the room. Her clothing was now a dull colored kimono, and her hair was still short, as she preferred it. She had accepted her new role as the Mistress of the Maw, but managing the Maw and it's inhabitants did little to distract her from the memory of someone: A young boy. A boy that she hadn't seen for nearly 3 months. She became very fond of this boy. She'd only traveled with him for one night, and he'd saved her many times, as well as protected her. She'd never met anyone like him before. She never even learned his name. A bag with holes for the eyes sat on her table by the mirror. It was the same bag he'd worn over his face for most their time together. She'd found it laying near the Signal Tower. She'd also drawn several pictures of the boy, and hung them on the mirror. Every once and a while, she would cry in secret, due to regret, and wishing she could see him again. The Nomes that lived within the ship would bring her various foods, and she would treat the little creatures kindly, but even they could sense her sadness. Every time the moon was full, she remembered the night she first saw him. He sat high in a tree, waiting for something, she guessed. Their eyes met, and they stared for moments until the Hunter interfered. And she was saved from the Hunter by this boy. One night, while she was at her mirror, humming a tune to herself, she happened to glance up into the mirror and saw the image of the boy behind her. He had no bag, but he was just as she remembered him. Young, and wearing the same clothes that he did while she was with him. She closed her eyes, thinking it was just an illusion brought on by missing him until.. "Why did you do it? Why did you let me go?!" Her eyes widened and she stood up, spinning around quickly, which knocked the chair over to the floor. "Why?" he asked, an expression of hurt on his face. She rushed to him and threw her arms around him. He tried to raise his hands in protest, but she didn't care. "I'm sorry! I didn't want to. The tower made me do it!" she sobbed out, her head buried against his shoulder. "The tower?" he asked. "It is some kind of monster, and it wanted to keep you. When I tried to pull you up to save you, it took control of my body.. and I felt strange.. and then I let you go.." she said, wiping a tear. "The monster.. the Tower.. made me leave against my will.. It felt like a bad dream where I couldn't control what I was doing. When I came out on the other side, I knew what I'd done.. I tried to go back into the tv set to get you, but the tv shattered.. and that monster.. cursed me for trying to take you away from it.. I'm sorry. I tried to get back into the tower by its' doors, and tried to go through the TVs, but I couldn't get back in." "How did it curse you?" he asked, patiently waiting for an answer. "Hunger pains.." she looked at his face, "but the curse isn't as bad as losing you was. I really grew fond you.. and I never said 'thank you' for the times you saved me." She paused, then asked, "Why did you let that man take me when we were hiding from him? I tried to get under the bed with you, but you didn't help.." Mono looked down, "I thought he was only after me. I had no idea he would take you, or I would've helped you. I felt afraid and worried for you when he snatched you away.. After he took you, a glitch of you was left behind, and it lead me to the tower where you were." "What happened to the man?" Six asked. "You know I have .. powerful abilities.. right?" he asked, almost hesitantly. Six nodded. "I used my abilities to end the man." Six loosened her hug some, and looked down for a moment, pondering something. "How did you get here?" she asked. "You know I'm able to travel through television sets.. right?" She nodded. "I scanned all the TV viewers through the television sets for months, looking for you. Then, I saw you, talking with a monster, and I discovered the TV that you were on the other side of was on the Maw. I thought long about coming to talk to you, but unsure if you still liked me, or even wanted to see me. I finally needed to know the answer.. Why you let me go.. So, I teleported through the TV to find you here." She gave him a smile, and held him closer. "I'm glad you did." He smiled, and laid his cheek on her head. They stayed like this for several more moments, then he remembered something. "Wait.. I brought something for you.." he said, pulling away from her. "Wait here.." She nodded. He stepped outside the door, and returned a few seconds later, with a large object in his arms. Six opened her mouth in surprise. Mono held the music box. He smiled at her expression, bringing the music box to her. "I thought you might like to have this back. You like it.." She nodded and turned the crank at the top. The music started playing. They smiled at each other, listening to the melody, and Six began to hum along with it. Hearing the music from outside the door, some of the little Nomes came into the room, looking around for the source of music. Six sat the music box on the floor, and the Nomes gathered around it, interested. Six cranked the handle a few more times, then sat on her nearby bed, watching the music box and Nomes. Then, she looked over at Mono. "So.. what's your name?" "Mono.. What's yours?" he asked, walking over to the bed. "My name is Six." "Six? What kind of a name is Six?" he asked with a confused smile. She returned the smile, "What kind of a name is Mono?" He gave a small chuckle, then sat beside her on the bed. It was the first time Six had heard him laugh. She liked the sound. "At least it's better than what the other kids I was with called me.." Mono said. "They called you what?" Six asked. Mono pointed at the bag sitting on the dresser. "Baggie." "Baggie?" she repeated, trying not to laugh. "Yes, but please don't call me that." Six nodded, still smiling. The two watched the Nomes chattering over the music box, and when the music ended, they turned the crank again to restart the melody. "Did you have trouble finding me?" Six asked. "The Maw is very large." "It is.. but the Nomes knew where you were, and they lead me to you. I would've had a harder time if it weren't for them. They guided me through secret tunnels to avoid the monsters on this ship." Six reached over and placed her hand on his. "I'm happy you came back to find me. I missed you." "Missed you, too." Mono smiled, before placing his hand to his mouth and yawning. "I'm tired. I didn't realize how tired I was until I actually took time to relax." "It's almost midnight.." Six said, and looked over at the pillows on the large bed. "You can sleep if you like.." "I would like." He whispered, the tiredness showing in his voice. Six nodded, and crawled over to the pillows. She laid down as Mono crawled over beside her, and laid down. They laid on their sides, facing each other. Six closed her eyes, and began softly humming along to the music box's melody. Mono reached out his hand, and moved some of her dark hair out of the way of her brown eyes so he could see them. She continued to smile, then a thought crossed her mind, and she looked at him, concerned. "Are you hungry? There's plenty of food on this ship.. I can have the Nomes bring you food.. or water." "No.. I'm fine." Mono whispered, relaxing more. Six smiled, and closed her eyes, only to open them moments later. "Will you be here when I wake up, Mono?" "If you want." Mono said. "I do want." Mono smiled, and nodded, "I'll be here." Six closed her eyes, comforted by his reassurance. They laid there in silence, enjoying each other's company, and soon, Six slowly drifted off to sleep, her breathing now slow and steady. Mono smiled, admiring her cute face, then leaned over and gave her little nose a kiss, then whispered, "Good night.." "Good night," Six whispered so low that he barely heard her. Mono looked over at the Nomes. "Hey.. can you dim the lights of this room?" The Nomes nodded as Mono turned to face Six again. Moments later, the light went dim to almost dark. Mono closed his eyes, completely content, and soon followed his friend off to sleep. ~ Pennywise Six

I couldn't have said it better myself🤐👌🏽
Remember the Runaway Kid from the dlc? Well he’s the nome that six eats after he offers her a sausage in the first game.

Let me guys explain the biggest thing
U know why mono forget everything when he travel in the loop ?
Cause the only thing that make him can teleporte is suicide
Thats why we saw the thin man in little nightmares 1 commit suicide and let a letter behind his chair so if he succeed and go back to the world and didnt betrayed by six he will be in the maw and will be in the bag that six was and see the letter and find six (the lady)

@Steven Campbell Yes and when she pulled mono from the second tv in the hospital, you can see six crawling a bit away from mono before they stand up

@@unoriginal5934 yeah comes out today. Are you going to get it?
@@YahtzeeB couldn't have said it better myself
Either shes Pissed that Mono Broke her Music Box
Or she sees that Mono and the thin man Had some form of resemblence, and Six hated the thin man for "Torturing her"

@@j.7027 yes and this is not a prequal

Hi brother 😩
How did she become the lady?

@MOHAMMED YASEEN yeah, he just wants attention ;)
If you look with a keen eye, you can see Six looking at Mono's face intensely. She tilts her head to the side, more forward, and gazes at his face. I believe that it is then when she realizes that Mono literally looks like the Thin Man and decides to let him go.
Key Points:
1) The game intentionally takes away Mono's option for wearing a hat, this was probably done intentionally.
Hella sus.."
3) I believe that if Six were to have truly wanted to betray Mono from the beginning, she wouldn't have held her arm out for him.
His other self tried stopping him so that he didnt become into the tall man his future self knew what he did wrong so mqny years ago.

Her shadow self from the secret ending was really influencing her to go to the light house in where the first game was set instead of both of them running off some where a lot of ppl think that little children like mono and six grow up to become very powerful monsters that replace thier already matured self like mono and since the light house thing was on the poster shadow six was looking at (secret ending) that means she might grow up to become the lady and replace her since she does have similar powers to her its like each child grows into a monster that controls one place in this world hence why the game is called...'little nightmares'
ive being watching this from the start and honestly the end shocked me just as much as it shocked hollow WOW!!! i have no words...
Likewise, perhaps if Mono was perhaps able to come aboard the maw somehow, he would not be able to use his full power because the dark magic prohibits him
@@litwaffle9848 Little nightmares 2 is a confirmed sequel
Can we just appreciate the beauty of mono's transition into the thin man? along with that surreal music
Thin Man is 1, translation for Mono is 1, single or alone.
You're missing a point bud, Mono is in a time loop, so he didn't help him since he knows Six is gonna betray him.
Nobody:
Me: Guess this thin man will become the final boss in Little Nightmares 3...
I think in the final boss fight in the little nightmares 3 is the tower to stop this loop once and for all
This just came out though
7:21 hollow you did what jacksepticeye said when he played Uncharted 4.He mention the same thing about metal gear solid 3 ( climbing the ladder with calming music ).
I'm absolutely in shock too, the 6 was crazy, i decided not like her since little nightmares 1,im so sadly mono aka thin man got betrayed after he try to saved her 😢😢
The dlc in the first game wasn’t leading up to anything but at the end it revealed the thin man.
No it didnt
It was the Signal Tower, not The Thin Man.
Oh yea I forgot the thin man was at the end
I don’t know why but I have a feeling that every enemy/monster in the games were trying to only kill six and maybe that’s why she was in the house she was probably kidnapped so I think the hunter was just trying to kill six not mono just like everyone else
But they don't even go after Six. The doctor ignored Six and went for Mono instead when he got into the oven. And the hunter shoots Mono instead of Six.
Haha. Every monster trying to kill Six? Then why in the comic the monsters kill the children?
The monsters are focused on Mono because they probably know he's The Thin Man and from what we know, all the monsters from LN 1 and 2 hate The Thin Man because they know he's the culprit.
@@Vanerov because he is the main protagonist
@@AlexYazanGames So is The Thin Man.
Legit time for Revelations. I can’t wait to see your reaction!!!!
you a real one for pushing this content so fast!!! ive been waiting for this game. thank you for the GREAT LAUGHS my dued
Now that was a good ending I mean this could be movie material
I just finished the game like 1min ago and that twist almost made me cry i feel so bad for the thin man/mono spending his entire life in the tv realm trying to stop his past self from making the biggest mistake of his life(saving six) but instead gets killed by his past self and gets betrayed all over again, man what a twist
YAY I just said when will you upload the next part
And now its here YESSSSSSS
It makes sense why the creators were like it's a sequel but at the same time not. It's a loop.
In the end, his friend betray him and he had no where to go or do so he made up his mind and became just like the thin man. That’s how the thin made is made...I think
@Maōkami oh oka I get it
i’m currently balling my eyes out because the ending was so sad
At the beginning of Little Nightmares 1, it was probably the thin man's legs hanging above the stool, he hanged himself
That would be a good theory but little nightmares 2 is a sequel
That’s what I thought too!!
nope. It's wax bellman.
Ending is so crazy! Played it and loved it!
Mono doesn't exist, it's the nightmares of the Thin Man we are playing out.
I was just thinking it’s saying we are our own nightmares but idek
@@professionmakeupartistssav3970 true
Ac revelations time baby
Hes gonna cry at the end trust me

Just a loop of him trying to prevent to his tiny version to save six but betrayed by six in the end. Six is just savage as f, just like in Little Nightmares 1
Hollow:"You need to follow the music to know which door to go in."
Also Hollow: *Spends the next 10 minutes randomly going through doors hoping he guesses the right one*
What teachers see when students have their hoods on 19:45 😂😂
There is a secret ending too go check it out
the thing guy is mono in the future, every time mono tries to communicate with himself via tv, six interacts immediately and runs away. at beginning six was waiting for mono all along and thats why mono when ever saw himself (Thing guy) it interrupts whole environment except for six, she can run normally and so on.
The reasone there are peoples clothes every where is because the thin man took all of the people
I thought it had something to do with little nightmares one, all the people on the boat? I’m not sure
@@professionmakeupartistssav3970 oh yeah maybe
I saw from the artbook (theres vids on yt) that the people in the city get sucked into the TVs and their bodies get turned into the meaty gross stuff, and its why their clothes are everywhere
The symbolism and art direction in these games are absolutely jarring! Thanks for a fantastic experience! Holy shit that ending had me stuck!!!
Six: So long... partner...
Mono: 👁👄👁
Mono: "It's been like- 1 hour."
Six: *Wtf-*
i get as to what everyone is saying about mono actually being the younger version of thin man but im very curious as to why exactly all of the world seems to be drawn to the tv's throughout the game and why they cant get away from them
@Steven Campbell I doubt the thin man placed the TVs, it felt like the world was fine until the signal tower was born and caused all the TVs to corrupt the people of the city.
@@TheRadicalJJJ its like thin man mono is the source of this power
Absolutely loved the ending of LN2! Feeding back into the first one 💪🏻 nice play though 😁
I don't think Six betrayed Mono I think she let go because she has the stomach problems so it's between saving him and eating or letting go and maybe saving him
Sooo either way mono is screwed.... Poor Mono
Even though Six could have just isolated herself but OK...
SPOILERS TO SECRET ENDING
Do you remember how hungry Six was in the first game? She ate everyone and everything. In the secret ending, she met her shadow and her stomach began to growl. Perhaps she knew that she was going to get hungry and eat her only friend, so it was easier to let him go. Perhaps she thought that he would have a chance to survive there, given that in the LN1 she had superpowers that Mono would not be able to fight against.
Six basically lost her soul here and was soulless the whole time in little nightmares 1
I love the art design and the details they put into it, like the rain drops etc. Very talented game artist
Now it's time for Assassin's creed revelations I cant wait!!!
That ending tho!! Omg .. loved watching this series, only wish it had been longer lol
Damn she evil af, rip mono.
This series was insane and the ending had me in shock
THERE IS A CUTSCENE AT THE VERY END AND WILL EXP[LAIN EVERYTHING AFTER CREDITS!
woah shit thats the most important part
No there isn't, it only is available if you collect all the shadow children
hearing him say you gotta follow the music and then continue to not follow the music was amazing
Do you know in the sercert ending of Little nightmares that there was a tv and it show a thin man with a hat
Great play-through. I enjoyed it. ☺️ I like Six even though people hate her now.
As for me: I like to think that Six 𝒘𝒂𝒔 going to pull Mono up and escape with him - however, she dropped him because of the Signal Tower's Control over her body -
The Tower is a living creature that uses Thin Man's power as a tool to reach out and feed on living things through the broadcasts, and since Mono destroys his future self, thus destroying the Tower's way of feeding itself, the Tower was now determined to keep Mono, and begin to use Mono's power to feed itself -
and the Tower made Six leave Mono behind against her will, much to her dismay - the Tower also prevented Six from being able to enter its' domain again in any way, so she couldn't try to free Mono.
You can also read it below if you'd like:
*"Loved and Forgiven"*
It was late at night.
Why did you let me go?!"
Her eyes widened and she stood up, spinning around quickly, which knocked the chair over to the floor.
I'm sorry. I tried to get back into the tower by its' doors, and tried to go through the TVs, but I couldn't get back in."
"How did it curse you?" he asked, patiently waiting for an answer.
"Hunger pains.." she looked at his face, "but the curse isn't as bad as losing you was. I really grew fond you.. and I never said 'thank you' for the times you saved me."
She paused, then asked, "Why did you let that man take me when we were hiding from him? I tried to get under the bed with you, but you didn't help.."
Mono looked down, "I thought he was only after me. I had no idea he would take you, or I would've helped you. I felt afraid and worried for you when he snatched you away.. After he took you, a glitch of you was left behind, and it lead me to the tower where you were."
"What happened to the man?" Six asked.
"You know I have .. powerful abilities.. right?" he asked, almost hesitantly.
Six nodded.
"I used my abilities to end the man."
Six loosened her hug some, and looked down for a moment, pondering something. "How did you get here?" she asked.
"You know I'm able to travel through television sets.. right?"
She nodded.
So, I teleported through the TV to find you here."
She gave him a smile, and held him closer. "I'm glad you did."
He smiled, and laid his cheek on her head. They stayed like this for several more moments, then he remembered something.
"Wait.. I brought something for you.." he said, pulling away from her. "Wait here.."
She nodded.
He stepped outside the door, and returned a few seconds later, with a large object in his arms.
Six opened her mouth in surprise.
Mono held the music box. He smiled at her expression, bringing the music box to her. "I thought you might like to have this back. You like it.."
She nodded and turned the crank at the top.
"So.. what's your name?"
"Mono.. What's yours?" he asked, walking over to the bed.
"My name is Six."
"Six? What kind of a name is Six?" he asked with a confused smile.
She returned the smile, "What kind of a name is Mono?"
He gave a small chuckle, then sat beside her on the bed. It was the first time Six had heard him laugh. She liked the sound.
"At least it's better than what the other kids I was with called me.." Mono said.
"They called you what?" Six asked.
Mono pointed at the bag sitting on the dresser. "Baggie."
"Baggie?" she repeated, trying not to laugh.
"Yes, but please don't call me that."
Six nodded, still smiling.
The two watched the Nomes chattering over the music box, and when the music ended, they turned the crank again to restart the melody.
"Did you have trouble finding me?" Six asked. "The Maw is very large."
"It is.. but the Nomes knew where you were, and they lead me to you. I would've had a harder time if it weren't for them. They guided me through secret tunnels to avoid the monsters on this ship."
Six reached over and placed her hand on his. "I'm happy you came back to find me. I missed you."
"Missed you, too." Mono smiled, before placing his hand to his mouth and yawning. "I'm tired. I didn't realize how tired I was until I actually took time to relax."
"It's almost midnight.." Six said, and looked over at the pillows on the large bed. "You can sleep if you like.."
"I would like." He whispered, the tiredness showing in his voice.
I can have the Nomes bring you food.. or water."
"No.. I'm fine." Mono whispered, relaxing more.
Six smiled, and closed her eyes, only to open them moments later. "Will you be here when I wake up, Mono?"
"If you want." Mono said.
"I do want."
Mono smiled, and nodded, "I'll be here."
Six closed her eyes, comforted by his reassurance. They laid there in silence, enjoying each other's company, and soon, Six slowly drifted off to sleep, her breathing now slow and steady. Mono smiled, admiring her cute face, then leaned over and gave her little nose a kiss, then whispered, "Good night.."
"Good night," Six whispered so low that he barely heard her.
Mono looked over at the Nomes. "Hey.. can you dim the lights of this room?"
The Nomes nodded as Mono turned to face Six again. Moments later, the light went dim to almost dark. Mono closed his eyes, completely content, and soon followed his friend off to sleep.

This is the first horror video game i am following on your channel and one of the best so far
You should play a game called “Inside” it’s like little nightmares
30:12 yes we were, cause this is all a endless circle in this game. Mono is the Thin Man.
This game is actually a sequel to the last game so six has been evil the whole time
no its not the creators confirmed dit to be a sequel so what happened is that six dropped him so she didn't have to eat him
That explains why the thin man wants to capture the past Six and Mono to take revenge for the betrayal of Six
or to stop past mono from saving her because mono would become the thin man but that did not work and now its a loop
If they make little nightmares 3 a story of what happened to six after the ending
Mono saved her from the hunter ,students everyone and how does six repay him🗡️ in the back dropping him ,Awesome story ,bad ending Darn you six and thx bruh for playing this game 💯🔥 God bless you
Six do be pretending to be a damsel in distress
*clears throat* six betrays mono because she learned through all that aging that mono is the thin man and not knowing why she was trapped by mono she had anger towards him so she betrays him at the end for this. And the loop continues
Wow, I didn't see it coming just like the first one! That's cool! I love this game. Mono is really the monster in here. Please, have A Little Nightmare 3 and explain as who really Mono is.
Hey man revelations next?
Maybe...he already upload twice today but hey we can hope
Maybe 6 was just trying to save mono from her hunger, it's either let go or eat mono.
