My theory is that the whole thing is a self fulfilling prophecy in itself. So Six probably was tormented in the tower by the Thin Man, who wanted revenge for her betrayal, but Six recognized he is Mono and subsequently betrayed him to stop him from becoming the Thin Man, but actually causing it.

Wow this is really good theory and would justify her “betraying mono” but in the end she ended up causing it like you said

    • @tornado7767
      @tornado7767 3 ปีที่แล้ว +63

The real reason was that she was going to eat him because she has a eating disorder and she dropped him to save him but he ended up becoming the thin man because he was going insane and he was called the thin man was because he hasn’t eaten in years and he was depressed so when he was chasing mono he was trying to save him from becoming that and the lady from the first game was trying to save six because that is her the game is about time traveling but when six became a monster that was not her nightmare her nightmare was mono breaking in and when he destroyed her box she was angry and she wanted to eat him but she still had that bond with him so she dropped him so he would not be eaten so shadow six isn’t what you think it’s her evilness

The adults in the little nightmares universe are driven solely by their carnal desires and lack any form of ambition so it’s hard to see the thin man having a noble goal.
If anything he became the thin man because six awakened a strong desire for vengeance he seems more so focused on tormenting six then on trying to stop the loop.
Killing her would’ve ended the loop preventing all of this but he never does it.

Theory: There is an infinite loop. That’s why there are 2 monos. The thin man and smol mono. The thin man knows what is going to happen to smol mono so he tries to kill him to end the infinite loop. Because smol mono doesn’t know this, he defeats the thin man and then tries to save six. When six saw him, she realized that mono and thin man looked similar and had similar powers. She dropped smol mono to defeat the thin man but instead that’s what caused the loop to repeat itself.

Theory: So basically throughout the game Six never sees Mono. He always
has a box over his head when she's around him. She never had seen Mono's
true face. When she was kidnapped and turned into a monster she was up
close and personal with the tall man. She saw his face. After running to
the end into the light with Mono she sees his face and realized that he
was the tall man so she tried to stop him while he was young and let

I can't hold it in anymore: the ending to Little Nightmares 2 hit me A LOT harder than I expected it to. As someone suffering major depression, who has a major episode at least twice a month, and who has come to the conclusion that my life peaked in my childhood, this game revealed truths to me when I was not expecting it. I've never been this close to suicide as I am now.
Seeing Mono and Six work together to overcome the nightmarish world and form a bond was a comfort to me, it gave me strength, however briefly, to try and take on the problems in my life. The two represented something I wish I had right now to help me overcome my depression. But then seeing Six coldly let go of Mono at the end, it initially was just a great shock to me, but after thinking about it, replaying the game to get all the unlockables, and watching some well-made theory videos like this one, it just hit me like a train on how close to home this game was when compared to my own life. That betrayal really hurt me.
Yes, there's some cute and well-drawn fan art of the two together, and seeing it does lessen the pain from the shock value a bit, but sadly they're not canon, the game is, and their relationship ends with Mono growing up bitter and alone, betrayed by the one true friend we've seen him make in the whole series, including the comics.
For the record, this isn't the ranting of some fan who got all pissy because this game ruined any possibility of a ship between Mono and Six; I'll admit that I support the idea of these two together, I think it's cute and innocent. No, what I'm feeling is bigger and deeper and predates the Little Nightmares franchise, and it was all bubbling up until finally I beat this game and all that bottled-up emotion finally burst out.
With that said, I don't hate Six, I can't hate her, I'm aware of the struggles she's been through and I understand why she ended up adopting a survivalist mentality, but it's still a shame that things ended up the way it did. Seeing Mono grow up afterwards reminded me of myself, and, well, I just had to share that. This isn't a cry for help, though any support is of course appreciated. I just had to get this out there.

I’m not saying it excuses her actions, but it doesn’t necessarily make her a bad person, not yet. We need to see how she treats other good people from now on.
As for letting go of Mono, well, there’s theories for that, including that she recognized the Thin Man in Mono, in which case I can’t really blame her, but again, we’ll have to see.

Also in chapter 4 we see the viewers falling or rather throwing themselves off the edges of the buildings in the pale city, almost as if the transmission is compelling those who are exposed to the broadcast to commit suicide, we know the viewers watch these broadcasts, the TVs even show the creepy song program from the first game etc. The program being played in that one TV on the maw, maybe the man on the maw witnessed the true evil lingering behind the screen, the squirming abyss and was compelled to take his own life, who knows just speculation.....

The people in Pale City know where the broadcasts are coming from and try to get closer to it usually meaning their life.

Thin man and the lady represent the controlling figures of the society in which the children grow up(Mono and six)
So when they grow up they are bound to follow the footsteps of the society that shaped their ideologies.
So mono ends up becoming the thin man and six ends up becoming the lady until they are consumed by their successors(other children)
Both these games just depict one of the cycles (out of the never ending loop) in which these two characters are the protagonists.

Continuing and now full out revealing my theory from the last video, this is a time loop, whereas when Mono eventually becomes the Thin Man, due to the dimensions she and Mono were in, Six gains her hunger and Shadow Six [spoiler alert: the secret ending where Shadow Six looks to the Maw] and that leads to Six going to the Maw in order to "eat". In the first Little Nightmares game, when Six gains the Lady's powers, I believe that the Lady IS Six. The monster that Six became is the face of the Lady during the Runaway Kid's DLC and that's why we actually don't see Six's face when she becomes that monster. So when Six does become the Lady, that is why the Lady wears a mask, in order to forget the painful memory of betraying Mono, this being shown when she doesn't want to surround herself with mirrors that reflect the monster she was. Maybe that's why she chose to turn the Runaway Kid into a gnome... Possibly being reminded of Mono when she saw him. Maybe the Lady/Six knew what her fate was and knows of the time loop they’re in, because when she is defeated, the mirror is like breaking the music box, and this is why we see a music box in the Lady’s quarters. We get that the Thin Man is Future Mono, and that’s why the Thin Man is desperate to catch or perhaps separate Mono and Six so Mono wouldn’t have to face the same fate again… And to perhaps break the time loop. If he manages to stop the loop, Mono doesn’t become the Thin Man, and Six doesn’t gain this hunger and darkness and become the Lady. As for the hanging man, maybe it IS Mono, or rather the Thin Man, BECAUSE we do not see any other TV in the maw other than the one the Janitor has and that is how he got into the Maw and possibly killed himself.
Even further, if we connect the story from the Very Little Nightmares game, in the end, the original bearer of the yellow raincoat (who is NOT Six) perishes with the Child or the Duchess character, leaving Six to escape. We see the yellow raincoat drift away, possibly how it then reaches the City. In LN2, when Six spots the raincoat, she’s reminded of the girl who saved her and decides to wear the raincoat. That would mean that the girl is also linked to the time loop, and is the one who saves Six, to where Six escapes and is captured by the Hunter.
Therefore every time the time loop begins, there will always be someone to be Mono and someone to be Six. Eventually, the new Six and Mono will come back and then become the new Thin Man and Lady. And that's why when the description of the Thin Man who is searching for something is looking for a way where this time loop can break so he and Six can be saved. Because when Six and Mono dangled at the end, Six hesitated to let go. I believe that Six didn't want to let go of Mono but she had no choice. At least that's my theory (sorry if it's long!)

What if deformed Six was their way of showing that the real enemy was in fact Six? Maybe it was planned to get Six on purpose to show Mono that they are only trying to help him from Six. She’s probably had everything planned out since she was captured by the Hunter. This is what makes me believe the story is set before Little Nightmares. She wanted revenge. And when she saw Mono as no use anymore since her plan was one step away, she betrayed him and let him face his fate...
Another theory I have is that the only reason Six betrayed him was because the Thin Man had corrupted her. And that’s probably where she got HER powers. Besides Mono and Thin Man, no one has powers that can alter time or objects. And most likely, Six might be the only child to have escaped the Thin Man after had been left as only a transmission as other kids who were left as transmissions after being caught. This is where Dark Six plays a part in her powers. But why dies Six have the power to suck the souls from people? And I think I have an answer. You made the point that Mono becomes what he fears, which is the Thin Man. And if Six already knew The Lady prior to encountering Mono and going on this adventure, then Six became who she feared most....The Lady. She knew she couldn’t defeat The Lady by herself. At the end, she then realizes that she have obtained the powers she needs. But the price is hunger. She goes through these hunger spells because of the effects from being saved and betraying the only person who continues to save her time and time again. The price? She suffers from a series of stomach pains. As to show her the suffering and pain she has caused to a poor soul who only wanted to be free and she took that freedom from Mono. So now Six is a prisoner... in her own body to the hunger.
It may not make sense to some but this is what I believe from playing the game. I have a bunch more but this is just a taste of what I believe lol

there is now a soul theory, do with this information in whatever way you see fit. We believe that sixes soul was ripped in half when she was in the tower, and that in the final moments between her and mono, her evil side began to take over as her good side was being separated from her. When she came out of the tv, we are wondering if she was already transported to the maw by the tower and that the ad on the floor was placed there to tell us that the maw is where she is at now. In the maw she is constantly trying to satisfy a hunger that keeps getting worse, but now we believe that that hunger came from her trying to satisfy an emptiness inside her, that emptiness being her split soul. In the comics it is stated that six has no memory of where she came from, a lot of us are starting to believe that when her soul was ripped in two, it erased her memories of mono and the pale city. That the chair, the eyes, the TVs, and everything else that we see on the maw were not only there to tell us about the existence of the thin man and the rest of the world, but to remind six about mono and the events that happened in the pale city. When six absorbed the ladys powers, it was those powers that finally allowed six to reunited with her other half, shadow six, If what we theorize is true and if the guests of the maw really do hale from the city like we believe, then its possible that six will return to the city now that she is no longer powerless and can actually fight off the creatures of the world like mono , more and more interesting theory’s are coming out, I gotta ad the soul theory to the list to since its also being talked about a lot

See I read through your entire theory and analysis on the previous video you commented on. The questions I have for this statement are that if it is true that she was apart of the loop becoming the lady. The second thing is why would she indeed fight mono? Second, do you believe her glitched side is her bad side or good side? the reason I say this is because towards the end of the game when you are about to fight "The Thin Man" Six is leading you to him but while she is doing it she indulges in innocent activities such as balancing across the train tracks when with her seemingly sadistic behavior before the thin man is shown in the game she warms her self up with the dying doctor, breaks the patient's finger, etc.

    • @penguin32700
      @penguin32700 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@qualgusmagalgus5760 So far, many of us believe that every bad thing we have seen played out in little nightmares 2 was planned by the all seeing eyes, in order to protect itself. This is what I have gathered from others:

If the thin man has the power to travel in time through the tvs and if the eye entity is always watching the thin man as the signal is being sent, then it's possible that it is taking advantage of the thin mans power to see through various points in time and insure that nothing tries to end the transmission that helps in its survival. We have many theories about the loop, one saying that six and mono are the younger versions of the lady and thin man but also another that says they are simply taking the place of the current thin man and lady, now that they are to old for the eyes to use in maintaining the maw and the signal. Regardless of mono and six being in a loop, its clear that they are of no use to the eyes if they do not have the power it requires to maintain the maw and the broadcast, so it sets up a path for mono and six to follow in order to kill the older thin man and lady in order for them to absorb the powers next. Why exactly is it that mono and six are destined to become the thin man and lady? well we have a few ideas as to why.

      1. The eyes chose mono and six to stay in a loop/cycle because of their unwavering desire to fight and survive, they are strong and the eyes need someone strong to harness those powers for it to use itself.

      2. The eyes are constantly looking for strong children to carry on the title of thin man and lady, so it will watch carefully throughout the world to figure out what children it can and can’t use, once it has found a suitable host, it will guide said child on the path to the maw or tower in order for it to manipulate them into believing that they are where they want to be,.

As to why six fought mono, well, after analyzing and reading other theories and details, this is what I found. The viewers of the city are infected with escapism (which means the desire to find an escape from reality and get some sort of wonderful relief), this
feeling is broadcasted from the tower to various tvs around the world in order to attract
people to the tv screens. However, out of all the residents that we see in the city, the only residents of the tower are the thin man and the eye entity, but why is the eye entity there? it is the thin man who sends the signal, so what is the purpose of the eye entity?. Its possible that the eye entity is the one manipulating the minds of the viewers and the thin man by strengthening their simple desires, that main desire being of course, relief from the world around them. When the eye entity saw mono and six working together it felt threatened because they did not want to run away from the world, they wanted to face it together and end it all, so it had to stop them. When six was captured and sent to the signal tower, we believe that the eye had a hard time influencing six with escapism since her only desire was to escape the tower, find mono and continue to face reality. So instead the eyes tried to link her to the one object that provided her comfort, the music box. When six was deformed it might not have just been because of the signal, but because the eye was struggling to warp her into an emotional form that made her vulnerable enough to manipulate into being infected with escapism. When mono found six, six had already been viciously infected by the eye into wanting to never leave the room where she felt safe and comfortable. When mono beat sixes music box, well, similarly to how the viewers reacted violently to mono interfering with their tv, six violently reacted to mono interfering with her music box. However, even when six was freed from this form by mono, we believe that the eye entity still had a lingering connection to six. If the eye entity is really as intelligent as we believe it to be, then its likely that it made sure to keep that hold on six if it ever planned to separate her and mono.

Whether or not sixes glitch is evil or good and how it ended up leading mono to the tower, well, it can go a number of ways, but this is what everyone seems to be focusing on:

      1. If the glitches are fragments of a childrens soul then we theorize that the eye used the broadcast to rip apart sixes soul in order to make her vulnerable enough to infect her with escapism. Anytime a glitch child is seen in the city, it is never multiple of the same one at a time, so why did sixes show up so much? Well, we believe its because the eyes used little fragments of sixes soul in order to lay them out like bread crumbs near mono in order to strengthen his desire to save six and find the tower, never knowing that they

were placed there by the eye to lead him to his fate. It could be that the glitches of six are innocent and were being moved like a puppet by the eye entity. In the end when six and mono were nearing their final steps to escape, the eyes grabbed hold of six and removed a large chunk of her good soul in order to leave six with her evil emotions, influencing her half soulless body to take her own safety into consideration and leave mono behind. Anytime in the maw when six ate and shadow/glitch six appeared to watch her from nearby, shadow/glitch six could have been staring at herself with longing to reunite with her other half, but could only ever sit nearby and judge herself for doing such cruel things.

      2. The eye used sixes lingering bad emotions to manifest it into a form that could influence her to do more evil deeds. If the eye really has the power to bring about the madness in people then its possible that it took the bits of sixes negative emotions and turned them into an evil entity that could follow her wherever she went. The eye used this same manifestation of six to toy with monos kind heart and make him feel abandoned once shadow/glitch six influenced six to let go of mono near the very end.

Killing the child herself was an opportunity at revenge for her, and in that moment, she realises how pleasurable vengeance is. Six is mentally disturbed from all the childhood traumas she's experienced, she is a child living in a nightmarish world meaning she is incredibly impressionable, i believe she committed those crimes because she was adopting the traits of the evil people that surround her. She sees how good people are treated in this world, (often tortured and killed) and she sees how evil people manage to escape such outcomes, thus, by adopting the mindset of these evil characters, she is adopting a survivalist mentality. So, when we got to Pale City, we can see that Six's raincoat is there, now we all question that, "Why is Six's raincoat here?" "Did she know about this place already?" well keep that in your mind, so after we see the ending, Six betrays Mono, and Mono becomes Thin man, i thought about this, what if....Six already KNEW Mono was gonna be Thin man?, it's just my theory, Super Horror Bros already has a theory about the ending so you better check it out, it's just my theory.

  • @nowherefool5869
    @nowherefool5869 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

six letting go of mono is about vindictiveness. when the thin man was about to grab her, she reached out to mono hiding under the bed.. but instead of helping her, he cowered in the shadows.
then there's the matter of the music box, it was clearly important to her as the only solace she has in the world. we've seen her obsessing with it when we first found her in the hunter's cabin.
but to "save" her, in the signal tower when we first saw her giant form, we call out to her and she responds in earnest, placing her trust on us unreservedly and sharing the music box with open arms... then we grabbed an axe and smashed her precious treasure.. calling her out and betraying her over and over, creating a pavlovian reaction.
in our minds we were "saving" her, but to her it was a litany of betrayal and cruelty..
so when it was her turn to "save us", she pulled her hand in a silent "no.."

I just thought of something and idk if these have been answered but I’m gonna say it anyway. Why is mono able to interact with the glitching remains and when he does, does he absorb them or does he free them? Second, when Six becomes or gets a glitching remain, why isn’t Mono able to interact with hers? I’m talking about the part where you get off the train because it crashes and she starts guiding you.

    • @Ozonespot7
      @Ozonespot7 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

I don't think anyone has answered that yet actually. I think mono had his powers hidden throughout the whole game which is why he can interact with the glitchy kids, but I'm not sure whether he absorbs or frees them. Also maybe he does absorb them which is why he didn't absorb six when she showed up because he wanted to rescue her maybe. idk

    my Little Nightmares 3 idea:
Thin man managed to caught Mono and stole his whole power (so he can be a normal person) and Thin Man can finally talk and said everything about six, convincing mono to leave six alone. Thin Man brought six outside the signal tower and erases Six' memories with mono using his powers. He destroyed the whole signal tower resulting on his death after separating the two.
Plot twist: they met again after a long time but only mono recognizes Six and they tried to survive together.

    Nice video. ☺️
As for me: I like to think that Six 𝒘𝒂𝒔 going to pull Mono up and escape with him - however, she dropped him because of the Signal Tower's Control over her body -
The Tower is a living creature that uses Thin Man's power as a tool to reach out and feed on living things through the broadcasts, and since Mono destroys his future self, thus destroying the Tower's way of feeding itself, the Tower was now determined to keep Mono, and begin to use Mono's power to feed itself -
and the Tower made Six leave Mono behind against her will, much to her dismay - the Tower also prevented Six from being able to enter its' domain again in any way, so she couldn't try to free Mono.
And since Six tried to take away the Tower's method of feeding, which would've made it starve, the Tower used its' abilities to curse Six with hunger bouts so that at any given time, she can become suddenly hungry out of nowhere, thus making her know how it really feels to starve...
Anyways, I wrote a fanfic about Six and Mono reuniting on the Maw (as kids). Six explains to him why she dropped him, apologizes,, and the two of them continue their friendship. It's a cute, fluff story. I have it posted on *DeviantArt..com* ..as well as *Fanfiction..Net* .. You can also read it below if you'd like:
    *"Loved and Forgiven"*
It was late at night. Six sat in the former Lady's chamber at a small dresser with a low mirror. The tall furniture had been replaced with smaller versions to suit Six's short height. She had also placed a small bed in the room.
Her clothing was now a dull colored kimono, and her hair was still short, as she preferred it. She had accepted her new role as the Mistress of the Maw, but managing the Maw and it's inhabitants did little to distract her from the memory of someone: A young boy. A boy that she hadn't seen for nearly 3 months. She became very fond of this boy. She'd only traveled with him for one night, and he'd saved her many times, as well as protected her. She'd never met anyone like him before. She never even learned his name.
A bag with holes for the eyes sat on her table by the mirror. It was the same bag he'd worn over his face for most their time together. She'd found it laying near the Signal Tower. She'd also drawn several pictures of the boy, and hung them on the mirror. Every once and a while, she would cry in secret, due to regret, and wishing she could see him again. The Nomes that lived within the ship would bring her various foods, and she would treat the little creatures kindly, but even they could sense her sadness.
Every time the moon was full, she remembered the night she first saw him. He sat high in a tree, waiting for something, she guessed. Their eyes met, and they stared for moments until the Hunter interfered. And she was saved from the Hunter by this boy.
One night, while she was at her mirror, humming a tune to herself, she happened to glance up into the mirror and saw the image of the boy behind her. He had no bag, but he was just as she remembered him. Young, and wearing the same clothes that he did while she was with him. She closed her eyes, thinking it was just an illusion brought on by missing him until..
"Why did you do it? Why did you let me go?!"
Her eyes widened and she stood up, spinning around quickly, which knocked the chair over to the floor.
"Why?" he asked, an expression of hurt on his face.
She rushed to him and threw her arms around him. He tried to raise his hands in protest, but she didn't care.
"I'm sorry! I didn't want to. The tower made me do it!" she sobbed out, her head buried against his shoulder.
    "The tower?" he asked.
"It is some kind of monster, and it wanted to keep you. When I tried to pull you up to save you, it took control of my body.. and I felt strange.. and then I let you go.." she said, wiping a tear. "The monster.. the Tower.. made me leave against my will.. It felt like a bad dream where I couldn't control what I was doing. When I came out on the other side, I knew what I'd done.. I tried to go back into the tv set to get you, but the tv shattered.. and that monster.. cursed me for trying to take you away from it.. I'm sorry. I tried to get back into the tower by its' doors, and tried to go through the TVs, but I couldn't get back in."
"How did it curse you?" he asked, patiently waiting for an answer.
"Hunger pains.." she looked at his face, "but the curse isn't as bad as losing you was. I really grew fond you.. and I never said 'thank you' for the times you saved me."
She paused, then asked, "Why did you let that man take me when we were hiding from him? I tried to get under the bed with you, but you didn't help.."
Mono looked down, "I thought he was only after me. I had no idea he would take you, or I would've helped you. I felt afraid and worried for you when he snatched you away.. After he took you, a glitch of you was left behind, and it lead me to the tower where you were."
"What happened to the man?" Six asked.
"You know I have .. powerful abilities.. right?" he asked, almost hesitantly.
    Six nodded.
"I used my abilities to end the man."
Six loosened her hug some, and looked down for a moment, pondering something. "How did you get here?" she asked.
"You know I'm able to travel through television sets.. right?"
    She nodded.
"I scanned all the TV viewers through the television sets for months, looking for you. Then, I saw you, talking with a monster, and I discovered the TV that you were on the other side of was on the Maw. I thought long about coming to talk to you, but unsure if you still liked me, or even wanted to see me. I finally needed to know the answer.. Why you let me go.. So, I teleported through the TV to find you here."
She gave him a smile, and held him closer. "I'm glad you did."
He smiled, and laid his cheek on her head. They stayed like this for several more moments, then he remembered something.
"Wait.. I brought something for you.." he said, pulling away from her. "Wait here.."
    She nodded.
He stepped outside the door, and returned a few seconds later, with a large object in his arms.
Six opened her mouth in surprise.
Mono held the music box. He smiled at her expression, bringing the music box to her. "I thought you might like to have this back. You like it.."
She nodded and turned the crank at the top. The music started playing. They smiled at each other, listening to the melody, and Six began to hum along with it.
Hearing the music from outside the door, some of the little Nomes came into the room, looking around for the source of music. Six sat the music box on the floor, and the Nomes gathered around it, interested. Six cranked the handle a few more times, then sat on her nearby bed, watching the music box and Nomes. Then, she looked over at Mono. "So.. what's your name?"
"Mono.. What's yours?" he asked, walking over to the bed.
    "My name is Six."
"Six? What kind of a name is Six?" he asked with a confused smile.
She returned the smile, "What kind of a name is Mono?"
He gave a small chuckle, then sat beside her on the bed. It was the first time Six had heard him laugh. She liked the sound.
"At least it's better than what the other kids I was with called me.." Mono said.
"They called you what?" Six asked.
Mono pointed at the bag sitting on the dresser. "Baggie."
"Baggie?" she repeated, trying not to laugh.
"Yes, but please don't call me that."
    Six nodded, still smiling.
The two watched the Nomes chattering over the music box, and when the music ended, they turned the crank again to restart the melody.
"Did you have trouble finding me?" Six asked. "The Maw is very large."
"It is.. but the Nomes knew where you were, and they lead me to you. I would've had a harder time if it weren't for them. They guided me through secret tunnels to avoid the monsters on this ship."
Six reached over and placed her hand on his. "I'm happy you came back to find me. I missed you."
"Missed you, too." Mono smiled, before placing his hand to his mouth and yawning. "I'm tired. I didn't realize how tired I was until I actually took time to relax."
"It's almost midnight.." Six said, and looked over at the pillows on the large bed. "You can sleep if you like.."
"I would like." He whispered, the tiredness showing in his voice.
Six nodded, and crawled over to the pillows. She laid down as Mono crawled over beside her, and laid down. They laid on their sides, facing each other. Six closed her eyes, and began softly humming along to the music box's melody. Mono reached out his hand, and moved some of her dark hair out of the way of her brown eyes so he could see them.
She continued to smile, then a thought crossed her mind, and she looked at him, concerned. "Are you hungry? There's plenty of food on this ship.. I can have the Nomes bring you food.. or water."
"No.. I'm fine." Mono whispered, relaxing more.
Six smiled, and closed her eyes, only to open them moments later. "Will you be here when I wake up, Mono?"
    "If you want." Mono said.
    "I do want."
Mono smiled, and nodded, "I'll be here."
Six closed her eyes, comforted by his reassurance. They laid there in silence, enjoying each other's company, and soon, Six slowly drifted off to sleep, her breathing now slow and steady. Mono smiled, admiring her cute face, then leaned over and gave her little nose a kiss, then whispered, "Good night.."
"Good night," Six whispered so low that he barely heard her.
Mono looked over at the Nomes. "Hey.. can you dim the lights of this room?"
The Nomes nodded as Mono turned to face Six again. Moments later, the light went dim to almost dark. Mono closed his eyes, completely content, and soon followed his friend off to sleep.

She thinks that even if both of them survives and goes through the TV together they'd just get spit out by TV again like when she tries to go after Mono before. And even if she pulls him up and ran to the TV before Mono, The platform will break and he'd just fell into the abyss again.

Simply: Six didn’t appreciate that mono (the thin man at the time) corrupted her and gave her the hunger and put her in this position. Six isn’t evil. The signal tower is. Because for six to drop you into this place, there needs to be a thin man first. But a thin man can’t exist without a previous thin man bringing six here to drop you.

    I HAVE A THEORY:
It’s a paradox, here is why. In the start, we see the hallway, and the door. After that, we do not get to open it, but there is a TV. When Mono (Non-Thin Man) gets thrown out the TV, the TV lights up for a second, hinting that there is some type of loop occurring, next, there are TVs all over the Little Nightmares 2 map, The start, The School, the Hospital, AND the radio station. Another reason why this is a paradox is because, I think that the reason why Mono decided to go to the train station is because he knew what was going to happen, because of all of the TVs. Another reason is Mono’s powers, and the corpses, Mono is able to obtain shadows from nearby corpses, which the Thin Man has potentially, done. Monos powers, the aura that they emit is Bright, with the TVs, which proves since the START he was meant to be the Thin Man (1/2, the next half will be in the reply.)

    • @icyyou.
      @icyyou. 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

2/2. Monos powers emit a white aura, which proves he was meant to be the Thin Man since the start, and how it hurt him to, when it hurt the Thin Man. His powers awakened WHEN he was near the Thin Man. Another hint that it was a paradox, so in alternate universes, the same thing will happen again, Six betraying Mono. I am also adding one to recent theories, of Six seeing that Mono’s face was similar to the Thin Man’s, since then, she knew that it was a paradox, so she dropped him as an attempt to stop the paradox. But it didn’t work.

  • @ourochroma
    @ourochroma ปีที่แล้ว

I always thought that The Thin Man either takes six away either because she was his only friend, or for revenge; but not necessarily because he knows he's in a time-loop. He might as well have the urge to get rid of everything that reminds him of his pain, just as when six turned into a monster would attack Mono to not being hurt again.
For the time loop, maybe it is only Mono who is caught in a time loop, or maybe time just does not work as it should around the territory of The Broadcast Tower.
For Six's betrayal, I think Six was just resentful of Mono by subjecting her to pain, even if it was to save her. Even though maybe it is also Mono's fault in a way when she got kidnapped at the school.
As for the signal tower, I think the Eye/Blob has a need that must be fulfilled. To always watch over something, pain maybe, without the Thin Man this position would belong to Six in Monster form. With Six's Monster form later terminated, the tower started to collapse, until immediately could get a hold of Mono. Betrayed, alone and trapped, he was at the mercy of the Eye. And this need to watch over something is also broadcasted to the citizens, they need to watch the transmission, and I would not be surprised if those eyes represent also how many watchers/citizens are watching him through the broadcast.
As for Six's Hunger, what a better place to go than an advertised food paradise where customers can gorge themselves with near endless food. Fun enough that The Maw is still far away from the reach of the Broadcast Tower. We have to wonder, what other places are also out of reach of the Broadcast Tower, and what types of entities reign instead on such places.

my theory was that thin man is trying to stop himself as a child (mono) from suffering the pain of betrayal that turned him into the thin man by taking away the person that caused that feeling of betrayal in the first place (six).

I've got a theory of what Six's story really is:
-The Tower corrupted much of the globe as thoroughly as it could. But there were few who tried to stay as isolated from the network as possible, trying to build their own versions of order, away from the tower. But due to have been already touched by the corruption, even their forms of order are delusional twisted.
One such family is the Nest family. Their deformity was that they lost their souls, fractured into tiny glitched pieces, so they appear mostly normal, were it not for the fact their appearances were grotesque enough to refuse to appear in the photos. Another is the Lady, whose deformity was endless hunger in order to reverse her weakness and physical condition. These three had an arrangement in order to maintain the Maw working and keep themselves isolated from the main land.
The patriarch and matriarch had two children, twin girls, more beautiful than them, yet souless as well. However, what made these two children special, was that one girl had the power to externalize her void, making people disappear in thin air. The other girl on the other hand needed to keep eating something that was or is alive, getting more powerful and beautiful with each victim she consumed. The latter is named number 6, as she's supposed to be the new Lady, as the current one seems to be getting more unhinged and sadistic with the guests she invites in order to get more money to maintain her establishment. The former becomes incredibly jealous of her sister, painting herself, to be even more beautiful than Six, ripping her sister's face off from a photo, and then ends their mother, as she planned to have more children.
She then took control of the house's insane doll maker and the weary Butler by physically disabling the most threatening parts of their bodies, and ordered them to build that phantasy world of hers filled with dolls made from the children her mother intended to adopt and did everything she could to make it seem like she was an only daughter. Because of these events, Six stopped wearing anything that might have her look like her sister, and started to use her powers to find ways to attract children passing by her home in the hopes one of them could help her take her sister down.
Eventually she succeeds. However, having grown fond of her latest victim, after her departure from the realm of the living thanks to the Pretender, she takes on her coat both to pay tribute and to hide herself from the world.
After these events she goes to the mainland in order to destroy the Tower for being the reason her family was ruined, only to lose her beloved coat and be caught by the Hunter, who wished to let her body give up naturally in order to stuff her as his new daughter.
And after the events of this game, in which she and Mono unknowingly find the glitched pieces of her soul, and her betrayal, as her hunger finally began to take hold of her, she was instructed by her shadow/soul (who either couldn't or refused to return to her body) to go to the Maw, where she should have gone to in the first place, in order to feast and become all powerful.
And she did just that. However, because of the time distortion, she actually went to a past version of the Maw before the events in the second game.
She made her way to the fortress, where she found her father's hanging corpse and what her family had been truly financing. They had been financing a mad narcissistic creature whose goal was to destroy the bodies of beautiful children and trap their souls in beings know as Nomes, under the excuse of protecting them from the Tower's corrupting broadcast, using the bodies to fatten the guests and then turn them into tomorrow's menu. A sadistic cycle to behold no doubt about it. As Six finally defeats the Lady, the guests and satisfies her hunger, she leaves, but her fate in this cycle becomes unclear. What I do believe, is that time in the Nest and the Maw works differently as well, since it is located far away from the Tower's tentacular reach. So she probably remains there in order to become the new Lady, going mad from her regret in leaving Mono behind, unable to see her reflection not out of vanity, but out of guilt, thus restarting the cycle, and this time try to capture her younger self earlier in order to keep her away from Mono and punish her past self. Only to fail, leading her younger self to go into the Pale city and continue the loop, now returning to a point in which her future self is already the Lady and she must defeat again in order to regain the powers the Tower stole from her. And that is where we know no more. She either decides to stay and continue the cycle. Or she leaves to try and fix her mistakes.

I just gotta say that I love this going on again. When little nightmares came out I remember I watched a lot of videos with theories on how the game is. Explaining what they think happened and why. I love this, cause we know there is a meaning with all of it and that's why I love this game so much. And the developers are not telling us anything. It's an open ending and I love that so much and also the fact that it's so complicated. It's not just a random story. LOVE THIS GAME!! Would love to see Little Nightmares 3.

I think the plot highly related to obsession. The Lady uses food to control the guests, Thin Man uses televisions to control viewers. If you compare Thin Man's tranquil and The Lady's hateful and aggressive characters it's pretty alike helpful Mono and shady, sly Six. Also their powers likely to Thin Man and The Lady bolstering they are heirs. Though i don't think they are in a loop to become The Lady/Thin Man for ever. It's said The Hunter has a bullet hole in his sack because he shot again and again by Mono and Six. But there has been some irreversible events like Janitor's arms or Doctor's death.

To be honest, I these endings are a metaphor of history repeating itself in a time loop style.
To be honest, this wouldn't be the first time a concept like this has been used and is no less confusing at a glance. Remember Bioshock Infinite and the whole Variables and Constants aspect of it?

the story of little nightmares is shown to us by letting us see the painful consequence of watching the broadcast. The children are the ones required to find out everything that happened. there are few survivors.

  • @andreyvatson

Ok, here is a theory. It is a timeloop. The source of the signal is Mono all along. One reason to suggest that is all that eyes watching Mono as he transforms into thin man. They are watching Mono not unlike all that people staring into TVs.
Now. Everyone who interacts with the signal (with Mono) leaves this glitching shadow. So maybe that glitched shadow of Six represents their bond with Mono. And her bond with Mono is the only thing keeping her sane, so it makes sense that shadow helps Mono to "save" Six. Then (probably because Six recognizes Thin Man in Mono) she betrays Mono. But (in the secret ending) connection isn't severed, Six is still connected to Mono, but it is not the same Mono. Combination of betrayal, loneliness and power makes Mono evil and this evil spreads to Six in form of the hunger.

i still think that Six felt her hunger grow at the end of LN2
and she rather have her friend die right away, instead of eating him alive
    to bad that plan backfired

  • @titap227

on my opinion maybe it just because six hunger were uncontrollable so the reason why she betrayed mono is because she doesn't want to eat him (we know that six eats everything and she kinda want mono to be alive and not get eaten by six) and as we saw at the secret ending six were hungry, her stomach were started growling.

This is a theory that fuses the evil and thin man one: so I think, Six had a grudge against mono for not helping her when Thin man catches her. Six is like a spoiled children: they are easily angered and surprisingly don’t forget their grudges. Mono also destroyed her music box, yes it was to save her but I feel Six would have preferred being a monster rather than losing her box. What Mono did was that, he basically ripped the stuffed toy of an abused child. The child don’t understand why he did it and most importantly, *he don’t care*. What Six saw was Mono betraying her again and again. The boiling point was the face of Mono. Six realized he was thin man, and considering how thin man is the one who abducted her and gave her the music box, Six would have been like « Are you freaking serious? »
Because in Six’s perspective was that 1. She get taken away, Mono does nothing.
    2. Mono comes to save her, but instead of doing it he breaks her music box
    3. Surprise, Mono is actually Thin man so Mono is the one who abducted her and gave her the box. What, so he gave her this music box just so that he could break it (meaning, break her heart)? Was this charade all because of Mono?
Normal people won’t try to kill him usually, but Six is more evil than the average. The adrenaline, the situation where she had the choice, how they didn’t even have the time to sit down and talk right after the music box was broken; all of it pushed Six to abandon Mono. She was like You know what? I’M DONE WITH YOU.
Or, she’s just like Enoshima Junko and likes seeing people in despair. I like this theory too lol.

As you can see, SIX never saw Mono's face once until Mono removed his mask (Paper Bag Original Mask) during the boss fight the "Thin Man". After Mono rescue SIX and face to face each other but SIX can't clearly see Mono's face because of the dark area then they suddenly run towards the bridge. By the time SIX grab MONO'S hand, She is now can clearly see MONO's face then realized that the THIN MAN and MONO has the same face. So she decided let go of MONO! Watch the video again, you can see SIX analyzing MONO's face

The developers described mono as a guy scared to show his face because everyone hates him. So it’s likely that she dropped him cuz she saw that he was the thin man.

  • @yo_imarat8189
    @yo_imarat8189 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Im sorta sitting with Six dropped Mono because Mono was destined to escape, And would most likely keep a steady flow of the timeline but if Little Nightmares 2 is a prequel, Six dropped him because she knew she was heading to the Maw(The ship) and knew Mono wouldn’t survive the maw as we all saw that six barely survived herself after eating the masked figure in the first.
So what if Six ended up saving Mono which opened a new line inside the Little Nightmares timeline which is why we saw the Shadow Six with Six in front of the TV And the Gnome consumed in Little Nightmares would’ve most likely been Mono if he had survived/went with Six

    My theory
I think it was more “kids” in that world before the signal tower toke over so I think Mono is one of those “kids” but the other kids have been thin man’s to collect there (friend before they betrayed the other friend) to revenge the other one. And then it is only have been a loop.
