- Welcome back to another behind the scenes video with the focus this week being the CB750 cafe racer and getting the engine back into it. Soon enough this bike will be fixed and back to its owner after having issues with bending valves. I am also working on the Honda CB450 revival but sadly lost the footage so I am working hard to create content with what I have left. Keep an eye out for that video soon!

Knew this wood be a good video 😂😂
You guys work really well together 😊
Same tool I used back in the late 80's to install a Honda Civic engine!
🤣🤣 old proven tech
Pretty slick idea with the 2 x 4 "Honda special tool" to set that CB750 engine in the frame! Used to hate pulling those to do a top end, did an upper frame mod on several to allow for top end removal in the frame.
Cool video, thanks man!
I definitely plan to install those removable frame sections on my future 750 build. Total pain
Gitter done! RIDE SAFE OUT THERE!
😎 How fantastic it is to have a collection of 70s and 80s bikes to play with. Please stop being hard on yourself. 🙏☀️
It's pretty cool to say the least
Two heads are better than one! Awesome guys!❤
🤘🤘
Coolness🔧
Good video lads loved the install tool lol bikes are looking good 👍👌🏍️🏍️❤️
U have 2 work with whatever works best 4 U. Nothin wrong with a 2x4. Cool tool ❤
🤘🤘
Moving along! Nice! Strange how holding yourself accountable to yourself sometimes is the biggest challenge in life…
Absolutely one of the greatest challenges
I just bought a 79 Honda CBX, needs some TLC but looks great.
Good my friend 👍👍❤
Great technique for fitting the engine guys, bad news about the 450 footage, great video as usual 🤟
Yeah I'm gutted! I was really looking forward to getting that video out
Nayese ❤
Badass bro love seeing this
🙏🙏
👍
No CB450 video, head shrink appointment coming up😵💫
I just lost most my footage myself, it really is making it more difficult to put the content out. First my phone crashed while transferring the files and then my Hard Drive died a few days later. So lost three sessions of work. :/ Anyways, looking forward to whatever you manage to put on the tube. :)
Oh man that's brutal 😢
some one may have already said this but the easiest way (at least that I've tried) to put the engine back into a cb750 is to lay the engine down on it's side and lower the frame onto it.
This is an assembled bike though
Ohh, bummer on the 450 recordings, but don't do it! You will never say, 'gee, I wish I had made a career on a fork lift', and missing out on all those lovely cycle projects would be a shame. Certified myself for 35 years, luckily not in a warehouse. Look forward to whatever you put out there, and jonesin' to get away from this lift and back out on my own cycles. Namaste ❤
Hahaha I was wondering if someone would pause right then
Just do a “reenactment” 450 video… with some comedy stuff chucked in there
🤘
Since seeing Seth's cl350 on the 48hr challenge I've noticed a couple on fb, they look cool with the 2 high level exhausts & rare over in in uk which = expensive & probably zero spare parts 🤔
The high pipes are definitely the cool part of the CL line
Check this out I would put a folded blanket on the floor lay my 750 4 k engine completely assembled valve cover to drain plug, on its side and lower the frame onto the engine as no one was there to help I'd move it around till the long bolts dropped in there holes wala 1 man engine install 😀 just saying lol
Yes when you have a bare frame that's the preferred method
It had forks tires and rims nothing elce.
And ride down the stairs second story apartment lol I was poor in those days
That was kinda weird, I had a hard time following this one. I think the lost video footage messed with you 😁 It is what it is 😜
🤣
Video making advice, get a Mac and use Final Cut Pro, 60% of the time it works every time. Seriously though, use a Mac and Final
Cut, I used to do video work on a PC and well things sometimes got thrown across the room.
This wasn't the editing softwares fault. It was a combination of my inexperience on some basic stuff
What size if your ultrasonic parts cleaner?
It's a 30 liter. I have it linked in my Amazon Storefront actually
Where can I pick up that Honda engine install tool?
It may be backordered 😬
