    great to see such a prehistoric plane flying again, i was very upset when they were retired cause they just look so cool!

      Agreed. You can still see the 707 in the front end of a 737 but it's just not the same. Have you had a look at Classic Jetliners at Work which has several 707s still hard at it in the 1980s. Here's the link th-cam.com/video/iY409SsWy_A/w-d-xo.html

    Ive got this dvd, its fantastic. Well worth another watch! I wonder what became of this 707?

      Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to save the aircraft after its arrival at Manston and it was eventually broken up, with the tail unit going to support the KC135 program. When you think of the money that Lufthansa must have spent on trying to restore a Starliner, an aircraft that played a minor role in their fleet, the 707 would have made a much more suitable project.

      @@classicairlineractionfromavion i bet, the engines spooling up sound so cool. Only older jet airliners i got to fly in were 1-11s and 737 200s
