I think the brown reds are the prettiest gamefowl I like myself. Use to have a few. I raised for a few years.

The mule train grey i noticed his two streamer tail feathers that feather mites have eaten on his feather, the mite lives in the shaft of the feather and at night time is when they come out to feed, so at night time spray the tails of your birds with hotshot insect spray it works wonders!

I like the gamefowl because they can escape predators lot better than a fat egg hen

Same! We have 9 gamefowl, 7 roosters and 2 hens. We are learning as we go and your videos are SUPER helpful! Please make more daily routine game fowl videos, if you can. He is a beautiful McRae and he is feisty, as most are. Thank you for your feed video too! That was really helpful! You put a lot of detail and tips in your videos and I appreciate it like whoa!

I will try to. I get nervous doing them because TH-cam has shut down many because they think everybody that has gamefowl fights them. I just like the birds and they are great egg layers.

@@SpiritoftheOutdoors ooooh okay i see! Maybe a video on vitamins or first aid supplies you keep for wound cares? One of my asil roosters had a limp and we gave him poultry cell bc apparently it has a vitamin in it that he needed and is now not limping anymore so poultry cell is now in our first aid kit and we need to find this product bc he seems that now he might have mites and needs wormed. Oh and Im definitely getting a netted pole like this, I also have the round cages and 4 big coupes.

Like yer Grey's and Hatch birds. Good lookin Kelso stag you had there. Some of yer McCrea birds look nearly brassback in color, as dark as I've seen. I raised some of the old bloodlines years ago. Some of W.L Allen's Roundheads, McLean Hatch, Madigan Clarets, HH Moore Clarets, Brassback Butcher, Reg Greys, Tab Greys, Lacy's.....LOVED EM ALL. Would love talkin chickens with ya sometime. Many Blessings, Kev

Here in my country, the 2-legged predators are the greatest threat to our gamebirds. Unlike the 4-legged ones, they don't eat their bounty, they sell it.

Trim those spurs too .... Lil saw and a bar of soap but, most can't do that so get a Dremel ... U might want to deworm closer than 6 months apart.... it's to long ... Trimming their combs is a must they'll get frost bite

Can you use Ivermectin Injectable orally to treat worms in chickens? I have a very sick rooster that needs to be treated, but I've been reading that you can't use the injectable orally to treat worms- that it only treats lice and mites? Is this true?
