Build a Strong CNC Workshop Bench in Simple Steps

  • I needed a 1.6m x 1.6m bench for my Workbee Z1+ CNC so I built one using 4x2 timber and some mdf. This build uses half-lap joinery making it super strong. This bench would be an ideal assembly table or bench for a CNC machine.
I mentioned Gary's Glue in my video this is their website: www.garysglue.ie/shop/

Just what I was looking for. I need a 4ft x 4ft table for my CNC router.

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

This would be perfect for that use 👌

I always enjoy your videos. Looks like a very strong construction and my guess is,as someone else has said, it looks like a table for a CNC machine. Nice work as usual.

Hi Tommy, some great camera angles especially with the planer thicknesser. I can honestly say that Gary's glue is the best and i'll stick to that. Great work Tommy

Nice bench but the highlight of the video is the old Hitachi C8FB2 miter saw.

    •  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Thanks yes that's a beauty of a saw its the C8FS model I got it in the very early 90s.

@ no worries Tommy your health comes first. Haven't come across many Irish joiners most from uk or USA. All the best keep the best side out ..

The bench looks great! Although you didn't prove it was level! Couldn't help but reflect on the number of super expensive tools you used to put it together though, perhaps 5 or 6 of them.

    •  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

True I guess you will just have to take my word that it is level. I use the tools I have after 30years but it could be easily built using just a mitre saw as all joints can be achieved with it too.
