Hey all. An introductory video of my 5 foot Millennium Falcon miniature replica build. More videos to come, walk around & building how to descriptions.
Has anyone thought to mold all the vintage detail parts and reproduce them 1:1, for ppl who dont want to collect the kits? Seems like a good idea, even just for history...
The Deagostini is the ESB 32" model, a completely different miniature!. This is the ANH 5 Foot filming miniature I am replicating, so only reference of this miniature I refer to.
BRAGGING ALERT: I touched the Falcon filming model built for EMPIRE STRIKES BACK at ILM back at a 'Friends & Family Day' when they were doing STTWOK in San Rafael, CA. Looks like you're doing a fantastic, exacting job on this. Be proud. D.A.
Great work! And I certainly agree on how the undercarriage design change ruined the look of the ship....and the beautiful old photographic model kit box cover that we lifted off to discover that disappointing kit! LOL
Amazing...I remember the Mpc kit building process. I built the Deag version over 2 years but that is nothing compared to this beauty. Also a member of the RPF. Watched som of your other videos, but decided to go back to the beginning. Subbed
Amazing work and dedication!!! Love watching how this is coming together, How did you cut the notches out of the styrene panels, I always wondered how ILM did those tedious little things??!
Whoa, what a great update! Thanks Stu.
Great work, Stu!
Well thank you Joshua. I couldn't have gotten this far & this accurate without your help!. I am forever grateful.
Australian fans build the coolest shit!!! Incredible work my friend!!

Awesome build!💥😁👍🏿
Absolutely brilliant, the passion you have for this is outstanding. Certainly saving these vids mate!
Hey thanks so much John. Glad you enjoyed it
Wow this is amazing 👏🏽
What scale is it, looks about 1:12, or maybe a little smaller?
If we know that the "real" Falcon is 34.3m long , and this model is 5 feet (152cm) long, then the scale of this model is 1:22.5
Well done! Looking amazing 👍
Awesome, Stuart! Just subscribed.
Thank you Guy.
